Review Bel Cibo - Toowoomba

This place went downhill fast. It used to be amazing and we ordered the same thing every week. But unfortunately our last 3 experiences (yes, we gave them opportunities to make a ‘come back’) have left us disappointed and looking for a new favourite takeaway. When we asked what had changed recently, they said they had a new chef ... but they did not request feedback, offer apologies, nothing! Bel Cibo, your new chef is no where near as good as your old chef! The pizza was undercooked, doughy, and had missing ingredients. The pasta barely had sauce, the pine nuts were burnt, and it also had missing ingredients (this has happened 3 times in a row). What a shame. We hope you can work it out, Bel Cibo, we miss your greatness.

We came here only because there was a scoopon deal and well I don’t think I would come back. Average drink price about 8 bucks for the regular suspects that’s standard, and the food pretty ordinary. We got a meat lovers pizza for about $16.90. It had enough grease to lubricate an F1-11it was more a large cheese pizza with a dash of meat. The calamari had about 11 pieces and no meat all crumbs tasted like... crumbs with a dash of salt and pepper, with a presented salad of a Coles salad bag with a dash of dressing BUT did have 2 pieces of carrot that was $15.90. The Madrid gluten free pizza on the other hand was good and gluten free which is usually the opposite but nope go to KFC next door you will get some consistency for 25 bucks not $102 for a recipe for disaster. No table service to offer a drink had to go to the counter until the end it looked like we finished because I wasn’t eating anything. I can only go 2 stars on this one sorry. Hygiene well let’s hold the wine glass by the top of the glass so we can get someone’s cash held fingers in our mouth and spread a germ epidemic. To top it off they didn’t believe that my scoopon was $100 value and went through my phone to verify the information. What the? Seriously my rating was a 2 when i started and is now a 1. They did cook me a new pizza yes but after that my tip went back in my pocket, but the fact that the staff and cooks stared at it when given to made me reluctant to eat it. Lastly I didn’t see one Italian in the place. Sorry but one of my worst dining experiences. In the time we dined there was 2 customers on a Friday night. Numbers speak volume.

Have been for dinner a few times now and have had a variety of things, calamari, pizza and lasagna. Enjoyed it all had no issues with any of the food, my favourite being the lasagna very meaty. New chef I have been told. Happy customer here. 😄

I ordered a lasagne and cheesecake from Bel Cibo via uber eats tonight. The lasagne tastes good except there is hardly any meat and sauce and its stone cold in the middle so it's in the oven heating up. It's mainly pasta sheets and so much mozzarella cheese. It said on uber eats it came with a salad as well, which it didnt. Not worth $21! Cold food really is not fun to eat, certainly wont be buying again.

Absolutely the most beautiful meal and great value with good sized meals. The flavour was amazing of every dish we had. Quaint simple little decor with very friendly waitress. Highly recommend you try it❤️ I’ll definitely be getting a group together and go back

I've had a couple pizza's from this place now and I must say that I absolutely love them from here. Always great quality! I always request vegetarian and I haven't found any problems yet.

Young lass who served us was lovely. Watched one staff member just stand there with a dour expression on his face on his ph whole time we were there this was while he was behind front counter. Our coffee and octopus were lovely. Our mains we At but did not enjoy as the cream sauce on both were split. Would we come back. Don’t know

Had lunch today for the first time. The meal was really nice and good price. But I should have ordered a bread to mop up the yummy garlic sauce.
