Review The Bavarian - Toowoomba

Oh. My. Yum. Good food, cooked and served to perfection, amazing service, nothing we asked was too much for the staff and such a great relaxing environment. They have something for the whole family, including high chairs for the kids. Honestly think I've found my new favourite place to eat ❤️ thank you all for such an enjoyable and relaxing evening

Great variety of beverages and a really yummy, filling tasting platter and entrees. The tempura pickles are a must! You go there for a meat-fest with large portions. It has a nice setting and the staff were friendly and accommodating of dietary requirements 👍

Food was pretty good. Take note: if you buy a shot or anyone else in the restaurant you'll be hearing a massive cow bell until you take the shot off the board. Lovely staff, helpful and happy.

Wow, absolutely love this place. The food is great the service is even better. Option of ordering online or at the counter. Never had a bad meal. Thanks to James who is there every time we have been. You make our visits 100x better.

Cannot order anything at the counter, everything must be ordered online from the codes at the tables, yet this system clearly didn’t work well as drinks we didn’t order were brought over, and drinks we did order were never received until asked for. Staff members were rude and uncaring about the system, blaming us for any problems. Server told us (with attitude) he can do table service instead, but then 1 person will have to pay for everyone as they don’t split bills. Overall pretty poor setup, was way easier when able to order at the bar.

Ordered a schnitzel here the other week that was one of the best I've had in a long time, upon returning with a small group we unfortunately learnt this was a once off. I couldn't even finish mine as the sauce was that terrible, not to mention the hidden 6.7% venue surcharge they don't tell you about. Won't be back again.

The service was good, the food was average. The price of the food is expensive and then when we went to pay they said they would split the bill instead of 1/4 it and charged me an extra $23 in surcharge fee to do it, so a $50 meal cost me $73. Absolutely won't be going back, that's such poor customer service.

Food was great! Servers were lovely! Bit annoyed though as my partner ask for a beer, she asked us both for ID even though we both had tattoos up and down our arms and legs, he presented his as he was the one ordering the alcoholic beverage. I told the server my new license was on its way and I had the piece of paper TMR gave me as a temporary license. She said this wasn’t good enough because it wasn’t photo ID. Wondering if next time we come we will be denied service for alcoholic beverages if we bring our children? As they won’t be drinking it and don’t have ID like us adults? Is it worth going there if your gonna be denied service for not a good reason? NAH. Plenty of other business in grand central that aren’t dicky like this.
