Review Brumbys Go - Toowoomba

Food is very overpriced ++ They don’t like being asked why the same food is cheaper at another Brumbies. ‘Cause we put the prices on them we want’ well obviously they do!! Just attitude with stroppy tone of voice. Food is mostly really nice though. There are other bakeries in town with much nicer customer service and equally nice food.

Some of the most distasteful staff I’ve met in my life. Apparently asking questions to your employees gives them a right to be rude and tell us to “fck-off” over the phone. I come to give you my money for food not attitude from teenage bread makers that don’t care about their stores reputation or quality of service. Teach or fire them kids for manners before they say it to the wrong person.

not a bad little local bakery. sign out the front said best carrot cake in town. now two things: one is that I more than anyone else appreciate wild grandiose claims of greatness, particularly when baked goods are involved, and two I would consider myself quite a sharp and experienced judge of a carrot cake (due to my upbringing and general high consumption of carrot cake). there are three things holding this cake back from being great, let alone the best in town: icing, the fact that one of the ingredients is sultanas, and moisture (specifically lack of). the icing is far too sugary and course, you want a creamy vanilla topping on a very MOIST cake, with NO sultanas. i repeat: absolutely zero sultanas. Normally I wouldn't focus so much on the cake when reviewing a normal bakery but when the sandwich board is proclaiming such high esteem, the judging needs to be proportional. without this incalculable weight of expectation the carrot cake would probably benefit. overall though this bakery has what you need at a competitive price. i would recommend this bakery, but if you, like me, purchase the carrot cake expecting to be placing into your mouth the best toowoomba has to offer, you will be slightly disappointed. thanks for reading, matt.

A bakery where quality products are presented daily. Fresh bread, cakes, mini pizzas and fresh made salads and sandwiches. The staff are knowledgeable and generally very happy & friendly. You might even see me there from time to time. :)

good variety of the bakers creation. A nice place to stop and sit down, enjoying a cappuccino or a long black.
