Review Sushi Kura - Toowoomba

We did a stopby went travel towards Brisbane for lunch. We try a few sushi and salmons. Very nice deco and enjoy the food.

1st time here and I do love sushi, but honestly wasn't exactly as good as I imagined and the price per plate doesn't match the portion provided as U get more from the sushi shops in Grand Central for your money as it's cheaper elsewhere and U get more sushi 🍣 for your $$$ Nice staff thou, thing also for 3 stars is, they didn't have what I really wanted and my other favourite was nothing like what I know and didn't even finish what I ordered, each to there own but me personally, 1st n last time

Visited here for lunch and was so impressed! Great variety of sushi on the train, super friendly staff, easy to order via touchpad, nice decor and generally a great little sushi bar! This is my new no 1 sushi bar in Toowoomba.

The food, service and overall presentation are all top notch.

We thought we would try this sushi train out as we had never done so and sadly we did not have a good experience. We found one of the women working to be extremely rude and very dismissive. The way she spoke to us wasnt polite and she all but shoved our food at us. We ordered our food which was a mix of vegitarian and normal rolls as I am a vegitarian and my friend is not, we received our rolls mixed together the vegi ones touching the meat ones. This isn't something that bothers me personally but I know other people who would not have eaten the rolls as they had been in with the meat. Additionally the avacado on the rolls was a horrible brown colour, my avo had black dots on it and my friends was outright brown. Aside from this the food was quite tasty and I have no complaints about the food itself aside from the avo.

Just bought my late lunch from here..The front of staff lady put my order through the tablet. The order was missing a dish. Also 2 dishes were not the correct. The chicken teriyaki and the crab dish looked like a 2 yr old put it together. Couldn't pick up any of the food without a spoon as it was all falling apart. A random halve prawn with shell was found in the crab mix. No phone number to even call and complain...NEVER AGAIN. RIP OFF!

Had a great meal here, tables are a little small but the sushi was excellent both hot and cold, we tried a bunch of the favourites, like lobster, Wagyu, eel, octopus, tuna and salmon. We also got the family platter which was a decent variety, and selected a few of the ‘spicy’ options which were moderate but could have been hotter. All in all the experience was outstanding and we will be back.
