Review Cafe 2283 - Toronto

This place is amazing. My family and I in total of ten people had an excellent breakfast sitting outside. The staff is very kind and attentive, the food and drinks arrived within a timely manner, and of course, the food and drinks are super delicious. Lastly, the price is so reasonable. Thanks to Cafe 2283, we had beautiful meals before heading back to Sydney on that day. I highly recommend it to anyone stopping by to try this place out.

Delicious food and friendly service. Was my first time visit here. I am surprised with the quality and taste of this small local cafe. I had the eggs benedict, the acidic level of the hollandaise sauce is just right. Very nice coffee also. Highly recommend! Toronto you got a little gem there.

I have been here several times now with my 4yo niece and the team have always been friendly and accommodating of the 4yo requests include bringing out a very cute baby chino with 2 marshmallows, a hot chocolate with no marshmallows and the children's fish and chips meal with white sauce (aoli) instead of red sauce (tomato sauce). I forgot to take a pic of the meal before but there wasn't much left which is always a good sign. The adult meals are large serves and tasty too.

What a wonderful Brunch we just had here. I had the chicken and mushroom crepe - just amazing, huge portion. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Nice breakfast option, good juices and coffee. Only down was the sausages were horrid and overcooked - Bit of a let down. The rest of the food was nice.

Great little cafe with a little seating area out the front with a great view over the lake. Food was as good as you could get in any restaurant. I had the seafood crepe which was a little bit different and super tasty, maybe had a bit too much cream sauce but that was just a matter of personal opinion. You can then explore all the main shopping area of trendy Toronto within walking distance

Amazing vegan food! The chef and all their team are really lovely and take the time to make you feel welcomed. I visited on a sunny day and it was really lovely to sit outside.

Just had the yummiest lunch at Cafe 2283 over looking the lake at Toronto. The hosts, Valentina and Adam are a delightful couple and the food is excellent - Beautifully presented, wonderful quality, and very reasonably priced.

Noticed this cafe was under new management, so decided to have lunch with a friend. As soon as We sat down we were offered water or a drink. Drinks came out quick. The staff were all super friendly, the food was amazing, large serves great prices. I think it's going to be my new go to cafe now� just what toront needs. Hope the locals support this great little cafe.

Just had breakfast here & it was absolutely delicious. I don’t like strong coffee so got a 1/2 strength & it was perfect. Highly recommend it. �

Excellent service and coffee. My fave is Turkish toast with Hunter Valley jam! Cosy inside and nice views from outside seating ( and from inside too ).

No reason to avoid. No reason to return. Under new management but hasn't found its way yet. Formerly Essence on the Biulevarde.

I love this cafe! The poached eggs, raisin toast and coffee are excellent. I always feel very welcome and the staff do everything they can to make sure that you have a good experience.
