Review Blazes Burgerie Harvey Bay - Torquay

How do you know a place is good? If there are 50 locals waiting outside. Is the fish absolutely delicious and perfectly fried? Hell yeah! Are the chips crispy and perfectly salted? You bet! Should you go there? …come on, we both know the answer. ;) Absolutely legendary!

Haven't written a review before but must say I probably should have. I have always had GR8 service and the best fish and chips at Maddigan's. My partner and I decided it was too hot to cook at home. Rang and ordered 2 x Dory and chips. Batter was just right and dory was succulent as usual. Highly recommend you try this for the best fish, no matter which type, in the Bay. It was my turn to do the dishes but here weren't any. Sweet .l

The best seafood in Hervey Bay, by a long chalk. πŸ’―πŸ‘ Fresh tasty fish, cooked to your preference. The chips were delicious and crunchy. The potato scallops are awesome as was the calamari. πŸ˜‹ Ask for a sachet of salt, if you like your food a little saltier. They don't put enough on, for my liking.

This is a regular takeaway visit for my wife and me. The food is always excellent and well priced. I defy most people to finish one of their serves of fish and chips. My wife and I usually share a serving of sea perch and chips and a hand of calamari which cost around $17. This place is very busy and I would recommend placing a phone order to avoid a 20 minute wait. πŸ˜€

Lots of local seafood at good prices. Ordered the local snapper and chips for $13.50. The crumbs were golden, crisp and stuck to the fish. The snapper portion was generous. Chips golden and crisp and well salted. Homemade seafood salad for $5.50 Not of seafood extender and prawns. The sauce had a nice acidic vinegar bite to it. The lady taking the order had nice handwriting and was very efficient. One of the better fish and chip shops I’ve been to!
