Review The Greens Bistro & Bar - Torquay

Sorry but no atmosphere here, extremely limited menu and that's it on specific nights. Ordered the Salmon expecting what was stated, was served with chips and lettuce. Positive note: Staff were great, Chef was a gun.

Food was very bad. Steak was extremely undercooked so we didn’t bother eating it. Staff service was good poor Young girl was run off her feet with no help. And we experienced 1 older staff members embarrass a Young lady for what she was wearing in front of everyone when it could have easily been done privately and in a much more respectful manner.

We booked for a function for my fathers wake. The cook left before the function started. The food only started making its way out an hour after the function started. After we complained. There was not enough staff to serve food, so my grieving mother had to go into the kitchens and help prepare food and then go on to serve the food to our grieving guests. There wasn’t enough food and the quality of the food was poor. It ruined what we were hoping would be a great send off for my dad. Would definitely not recommend booking a function here.

Jennie -Shocking to hear that poor family had to experience such degraded service for your Dads wake. We were thinking of having a 70th birthday celebration but not now.

Great place for a meal . Great views of the beach ‘ fantastic outside seating on a hot day. Beer was ice cold. Staff were excellent ,good car parking. But the food wasn’t quite as good as expected. Maybe it was me.

Great food great service, not badly price meals. Had the Chicken Parma and others had Chicken Snitz. Come out in a timely fashion and the service was great with a friendly smile. Must go and try to anyone in the area looking for a relaxed atmosphere . Kid-friendly friendly with wheelchair access. Clean and well maintained

great selection of tap beers and ciders, one of the best locations in torquay, however the venue itself is nothing special and i dont appreciate having to smoke in a dingy shed away from the rest of my friends. yet to try the food but most people i know have been happy with their meals

We stopped here for lunch. This place is pricy for what you get. The food looks very nice, but it's missing flavour. I ordered a medium steak, and got medium rare. The staff was overall quick and polite. However, there was one guy at a bar who definitely needs to improve his attitude.
