Kalymnos Pastries is a true Greek institution of Adelaide you won’t find too many people who aren’t aware of this establishment. With a selection of Greek pastries and sweets it’s a very nice place to relax and unwind. Very busy place and the food all definitely has old school authentic flavour that will get you back.
This was apparently a famous pastry spot in town and we had to pay this place a visit to see what the hype was all about. A small Russian pasty shop with a good exterior seating arrangement as well as a smaller interior arrangement which was full at that time. Extremely nice staff, though they did take around 15 minutes to get our coffee.
We got ourselves a KOK and Milven(or something like that) from the huge range of patisserie available with a latte and vanilla chai latte. The KOK bun was alittle dry though the Milven was heavenly with the custard filling making up for it. The chai latte was a good treat as well.
A slightly expensive, yet satisfying experience and wouldn't mind hitting the spot again.
Kalymnos Pastries has been around a long time, and deservedly so, their pastries are delicious and because they come in a variety of sizes you can sample a few. I went on a Saturday to grab some takeaway and the shop was pumping with people grabbing coffees and eating breakfast. There is always a traditional greek main available. friendly staff.
Kalymnos is a local that we hadn't been to for awhile so delighted to experience the expanded shop! A saturday arvo visit with four of us and I ordered a 'mille-feuille' (different spelling in Greek) and a flat white. The whole experience was a delight, with the lady serving pronouncing things for us and making us feel very welcome. At around $30 for 4 of us, 3 with drinks, really good value for the flavour, detail and size. The mille was new to me and a hit as I like a custard flavour. The flat white was a nice accompaniment but overshadowed by the food! The staff make the place feel relaxed and friendly. Rare to give a 5 but today it is!
Poppie popped in for some galacticalbootycall and wasn't disappointed. The only thing Poppie would have to say is that more custard needs to be used in between the cream and vermicelli layers. Besides that, great Greek gem that will cater to any sweet tooth cravings. The New York Greek cheesecake was also delectable. Recommended thumb up 👍
A Greek pastry shop where everything is just so good. My favourites include the bougatsa parcel, the galatobureko, the kok, the.... Oh whatever you pick is outstanding.

And not just sweets,,, their savoury filos are excellent.
Recently they expanded and introduced an all day menu of things like fig and watermelon salad meze platters and saganaki eggs
Each day they do a special surprise dish just to keep your interest.

Greek pastries - how did I not come across this place! Beautiful Turkish delight even though I usually don't like them. Baklava you definitely have to try. Do yourself a favour and get your bum here !
Tried quite a few sweets in the Amex shop for small promotion. Very happy with everything and will do again if available. The price may be slightly high, but the taste was so good so it was still worth it even without the promotion.
The most incredibly light, flaky and tasty spanakopita I've ever had served by the cutest old women. I still haven't managed to try everything here yet, but it's all been pretty good so far!
If you haven't ever been to Kalymnos then do yourself a favour and get there quick smart for the most delicious pastries and sweet treats in the West. You can't go past their galaktoboureko for the ultimate in deliciousness. Dine in or take away, you can't go wrong. If only I was more disciplined I wouldn't visit quite as often as I do!

if you want some of the best Greek sweets and pastries in town look no further than this place! my absolute favorites are the spinach and fetta triangles and the kataifi! small place inside but they do have a little outdoor area at the front where you can sit and enjoy a coffee.
I have been going to this lovely Greek coffee and dessert place for a more than a couple of years. I enjoy the different pastries, biscuits and savoury pies they offer. The beverages they offer are made well. The desserts are fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend you for a nice outdoor coffee catch up with friends.

Because of this place, I can't stand to have Greek sweets anywhere else. I guess it makes me a Baklava snob, even though Baklava is the only one I can pronounce.
This little shop, nestled amongst a row of banks, cheap shops & a Gym has been around for years & has only gotten bigger and better. Authentic and true to it's delicious roots, Kalymnos is a delightful place to go for a coffee and sweet - or when you want to be the star of your office.

We've just brought home a selection of sweets from Kalymnos and are now in pastry heaven. Perfectly formed and utterly delicious. I highly recommend this absolute gem!
This is a quaint little place. The food is superb and gorgeous, but the stand-out of this place is the service. They were very attentive and were very patient. I will recommend this place!
Best Greek patisserie - I would say close to Melb standards. This cafe is clean, it has friendly staff and the cakes are awesome! The coffee too! Can't find a negative thing about it at all.
Consistently amazing service, authentic desserts, people with passion and great layout - the closest thing you'll ever find to a Greek patisserie outside of Greece. Love this place
Love it!. Having eaten a bit of homemade Greek food and a lot of cakes in my life, I can with confidence say that I absolutely love this place. Every time I have been to either buy cakes for functions or to have a quick cake-and-coffee treat, Kalymnos Pastries have delivered. The cakes are just amazing and the ladies serving very helpful and lovely.
Greek delights. What can i say...everything is absolutely mouth watering! A definite must is the kataifi which is the best in the west! I have ordered birthday cakes in the past and they were amazing! The staff are friendly, the shop is very clean, the prices are a little bit on the high side but it is worth it for a special occasion or even just a special treat... They serve cheese and spinach triangles warm and make great coffee!
If you are after authentic Greek cakes this is the place to come. Good quality product and friendly service.

In early August 2013, Kalymnos Pastries ( click here ) was awarded 'best bakery/patisserie' as part of the 2013 Resaturant and Catering SA Awards for Excellence. I will be honest and admit that I have not heard of Kalymnos Pastries previously, however after mentioning it to a Greek colleague of mine the fellow foodie held it in high regard and said that I must give this place a go. Upon entering the store I am warmly greeted by the service staff who helps me navigate through the abundance of cakes and pastries on offer.
