Review Francesco's Osteria - Torrensville

I absolutely loved this place and will go back to Adelaide just so we can dine here again. It catered both myself and partner (veggo and vegan) extremely well and even ordered a 3rd dish to take to our accommodation because we saw another person eating it and it just smelt divine. Service was great and the owner seemed the sweetest guy ever. So happy we found this place in Happy Cow and recommend everyone to go.

This was such a lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive servers who were all very warm and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful, the atmosphere is warm, cozy and intimate, and there's a fantastic vegan menu including desserts!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! My brother ordered a meal from their Bowden stall and was given a buzzer. When the buzzer started ringing, my brother had left so I brought the buzzer to the counter and was given a dish. I didn’t know what he ordered but presumed it was what I was given and brought it to the table to share. 10mins later two staff members came up to our table telling us we were given the incorrect meal. We explained that we didn’t know and had already started eating the meal. Despite it being THEIR mistake for giving me the wrong dish, they accused us of essentially stealing because we “ate a dish we haven’t paid for” and harassed us to pay it back. All for a $16 meal! This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable customer service. How dare they blame the customers for their mistake, and also talk to us in a rude and disrespectful manner! This completely ruined the morning for our family and left a horrible taste in our mouths. The experience was insulting and the food was average at best. NEVER going back here and could not recommend it to any friends or family!!

We've loved Francescos food for many years, so naturally we wanted them to cater our (vegan) wedding! Amazing affordable food with excellent service from start to finish, with lots of flexibility and choice in what we wanted. How good is the food you ask? Well a bunch of people caught COVID at the wedding and many of them said they'd do it again so long as they could eat that chocolate souffle one more time... so..... THAT good!

Fantastic little restaurant! Real, homemade-tasting food, full vegan menu including desserts and such interesting dishes. You can tell Francesco cooks with love. Can't wait to visit again.

The best Italian food I’ve ever had. A full vegan menu, a local supply chain, and the kindest service. Can’t wait to go there again. We went last night for my birthday dinner and it was so special!

Great vegan food, great wine and beer range, very friendly and helpful staffs and a very nice area inside and outside. The Golden key was when the waitress offered my 14 months old son a box fully of toys 😀. I had an amazing time and enjoyed the taste of my vegan dishes!
