Absolutely the best Indian restaurant we have been to. The service was excellent all round and Ryan was super efficient and helpful. Wine list great too and across the board wine and food were all well priced. We only had one night in Townsville and couldn't have chosen a better dining spot. Aalishan will be our go to whenever in Townsville.

We arrived at 8.30pm on a Friday night. Service was fast and very friendly. Lots of staff working and on the ball.
Food came quickly.
Delicious and good serving sizes.
Meat was very tender (no hard lumps of meat).

Its my first time to have the Spicy Chicken Biryani rice meal and I love it. The Cheesy Garlic Naan was delicious. The Butter Chicken was average, Southern Delight at Hermit park for me has the best tasting Butter Chicken in town. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The dining set up here has more "class" compare to other indian restaurant. Definitely will come back and recommend this place.

We organised catering through Aalishan Indian restaurant for a corporate event for 40 people on a Thursday night. The staff at Aalishan were amazing to deal with - very professional and helpful. They delivered all of the food to our event and set everything up in food warmers. The food was delicious, all hot, extremely tasty, and the best Indian food I have ever had.
All of our guests were extremely impressed and commented on the quality of the food and the generous serving amounts. I cannot recommend Aalishan highly enough. We will definitely be using Aalishan again for our corporate events.

Ordered takeaway for a large private function. Great communication via WhatsApp and email and order was ready for collection at agreed pickup time. Generous serves and very tasty curries which can be tailored to your preferred spice level. We found "medium" to hit the perfect balance. Restaurant was kind enough to provide some complimentary snacks due to the large order. Everyone raved about the delicious curries which was a big hit!

Definitely the best Indian food I have ever had. Me and my husband who does not like Indian food love this place to bits.
Also please please make Sagar the manager. He's a brilliant worker! We went there today to celebrate my husband's birthday and we saw him take orders, deliver them, take calls while cleaning up around while serving us. We only go there for him. This man does a brilliant job, and he needs a raise. I am damn sure this restaurant will not be this famous and loved without him. We love how he treats us and always on point and always working so hard. Please give him a raise and make him the manager. He deserves it.

The restaurant is beautifully appointed with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The food is excellent and the naan bread is the best I’ve ever had. The whole family loved it there so much that we went twice during our week long stay at Townsville.

Finally some spicy food in Townsville. When you ask for a dish to be prepared spicy anywhere else in Townsville, they laugh at you, and proceed to serve you a flavorless dish with some feeble chili sauce on the side. Fortunately this is not so at Aalishan. The service is also great and the food is a good value (compared to other restaurants here).

i ordered chicken tikka masala while mu friend had chicken hyderabadi. i had mine in mild which was more than tolerable. i didn't like that it had chinese parsley (wansoy). i liked the hyderabadi better.

Delicious food, plenty of flavour and spice if you want it. Pleasant service and BYO which is great. Small indoor seating area so book ahead if you want to sit inside. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting decent indian food with flavour. Have been back several times it has never disappointed

Set in the prime area of Townsville, right across the Strand, this place has been my dinner destination for quite a number of times . The service is extremely quick and they offer quite a long list of Indian dishes . <br/><br/>I went on to try the paneer tikka masala most of the times (since it was love at first spoon) with their saffron rice.. Their spice levels are flexible and the pricing is okay . <br/>The restaurant is a bit cramped with tables close to each other so prefer take aways most of the time . <br/>Verdict : A good Indian restaurant with quality food and service .. <br/>
