Review Juliette's - Townsville

Each time we visit Townsville, we visit Juliette's on The Strand. The best ice cream in an amazing number of flavours. Their coffee and carrot cake are the best! Service is always friendly and efficient. And the location is very pleasant. Love the lights in the trees at night and the view of the ocean during the day.

Just had a yummy cake, owner said it was made fresh last night, served with fresh cream and strawberry and cinnamon sugar, going tomorrow for breakfast. Hubby thought it was pretty good too.

The gelato was decent but nothing special and could not compare with Messina or the multiple other artisan gelato places in larger cities. I tried several flavours trying to find one that hit the spot but aside from the ferrero rocher, nothing else was that palatable, and the staff were getting impatient, whispering amongst themselves and giving each other glances like I was a cheapskate who wasn’t going to buy anything, so I bought two flavours for myself and one for my mother out of courtesy. It’s a cute store but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.

Really yummy flavours and good portions in the cone! *I tried the cookie flavoured ice cream.

Tonight was my second visit to here. I went quite a while ago and ordered a coffee with 2 sugars. It wasn't stirred. So tonight I gave them a try again. I loved the ambience, the service was quick and very friendly but my coffee was not stirred again. I know $5 isn't a lot but it's my treat and I hate having to ask for it to be stirred. I'm paying $5 for something I can have at home for less than a dollar. If I'm paying for the service than please stir the coffee. 🙂

Mine and my partners favourite spot to visit on a weekend! Parking up on the grass with an Iced Long Black in hand is the perfect way to enjoy a Sunday morning. And best, the drinks come to you…quickly!

Great place for an outing with kids, adults, or both! Today the manager went out of her way to check that everything was fine with our coffees. Yummy fare and great variety. Juliette's always accepts KeepCups too!

The mojito gelato was really nice! Only 4 stars because the ordering system was super inefficient

After a bit of confusion on my part about ordering etc(I was a first time customer) the selection of ice cream and sorbets and the combinations are amazing. It was the most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had in my 60 years on this earth. Lovely staff as well. Sorry about yesterday, I hope I didn’t come across as rude or grumpy. I was just confused about the ordering.

I Wanted to say a big thank you to your staff today. My 3 year old son was bitten by a wasp while eating an ice cream at Juliette’s. Your staff responded quickly- provided ice and insect itch cream. They came back to check on him multiple times and even gave him some free chocolate. Thank you for helping me and thank you for going above and beyond to cheer up my little man.

Has the best selection of cakes in Townsville. The best view looking out at the ocean. The coffee is too strong for my taste so I always have half strength.

Juliet's has been by far the best place to grab a great coffee in the mornings and with their great staff comes great service. very well recommended.

Great service with good coffee and perfect raisin toast after our morning cycle. I would have given 5 stars if I was offered water. We will be back at the weekend though.

I stand there gazing at the 24 flavours of ice cream and think...... I want one of everything. The service is always wonderful with sincere smiles greeting each customer. Always a pleasure to be here.

Coffee here is amazing according to my husband, meals are ok but not fantastic. I come here for the gelato though lol. I would tell myself to try out other flavors but I keep ending up with chocolate Ferrero and hazelnut, and that's just one of the many awesome flavors they've got. Service is good overall so you'd keep coming back for sure.

I had been avoiding Juliette's for awhile due to the appalling service and overpriced food on my last visit a few months ago. Thought I'd give them another go and nothing has changed. The cost of their cakes is ridiculous! Why do customers accept this? Service was very slow and coffee average for the price - won't be back.

Coffee and View unreal. Coffee enjoyed whilst seated watching the sea side. Excellent friendly and helpful staff.

Chai and caramel frappe was delicious and well sized. Service was friendly and enjoyable. Always has a large crowd so they're doing something right. One of few Townsville spots to have expanded further down the strand also.<br/>Staying strong in a competitive market.

Cost of food & drinks is astonishing, coffee's OK, customer service is shocking....

Consistently poor customer service.. The last two times I have been here I have been underwhelmed by the service. This morning I ordered two coffees and two cakes, takeaway, for my partner and myself. First, they brought one coffee out in a mug not a takeaway cup. Then they walked straight past us and tried to give our cakes to someone else. Once they had put my coffee in a takeaway cup they then also tried to give it to someone else. Fortunately both times the other customers said the items weren't for them and we were able to get the waitstaffs attention. The time previous to this mornings visit they got the order wrong. We suspect they did this this morning too as my partners cappucino had no foam and no chocolate thus rendering it a flat white. When we mentioned the mistakes they had made we were told that they had made a few this morning. For the price the charge it is not too much to expect the order is correct. A very nice location, which would explain its popularity, but I won't be returning any time soon.

Can't believe these people are still getting away with a ridiculous eftpos surcharge. Having knowledge of what it actually costs a business to have this facility makes it even harder to swallow. Lucky you have nice (maybe the only) dessert on the strand
