Review Imc Steak House - Townsville

Been to IMC a few times before and had always tried different types of steak the whole time and they were good. We had been adventurous the last visit and had gone with the 1kg steak each! The portion is Extremely huge! We end up having to do the take away =P. The Bake potatoe is really lovely and the string onions too! A highly recommended place whenever you want a steak dinner!

It is a place worth the name Steak House. I think $7 for a gin and tonic is a good price. The staff were all kind. If I come back next time, I'll order the sauce and salad dressing on the side. I don't like mustard, I hope there's another dressing. Overall, it was a good experience. ✌️

Very nice little steakhouse. Ordered a 400g steak with calamari and avo toppers and it was delicious. Asked for a medium rare and they delivered a superbly charred and tasty treat.

So worth the price. Great steaks, & come with whopping loaded potatoes & salad too.Staff cheerful & great location. Recommended!

Tried the super premium but loved the 250g rump tonight. They’re all good options really. Gets a lovely char from cooking well. Thanks to Zoe for suggesting the Brussel sprouts they were amazing!!! Also the Idaho potato was cooked to perfection tonight. Super stoked. Cheers

Wow,wow,wow. What can I say. The meal was superb, the Brussels sprouts I have never tasted anything like them.The meat was cooked to my liking. You can only book a table if you have 6 or more, so you need to get there as so as it opens, as it fills up very quickly.

Worth the 30 minutes waiting time just to get a table. The food is awesome. Friendly staff and the place is clean.

Had the best steak I have EVER had, it was the 400gram OP Rib with the Prawn topper. The staff were so nice and friendly and the decor had a really cool vibe. The place (so that tells you how good the food is) was full but the service was quick, and no wait time when we arrived. Just a great place to eat and the food was ah-mazing!! Seriously this is a must place to visit and eat at when in Townsville.

It was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. The steaks were enormous, melt in your mouth meals. The salt and pepper squid was just devine. The place has a good feel about it, very busy yet fast service. Very polite and friendly staff, great for everyone.

Treated my husband and mum to dinner last night before the upcoming arrival of our baby on Friday. I spent all day dreaming of the pan seared salmon and despite the weather, decided there was no way that I was missing out! And boy! did it not disappoint! The salmon was cooked to absolute perfection and the lemon butter sauce literally had me wanting to lick the dish it was served in! � We each got 3 different meals (steak, chicken and salmon) and not a single part could be faulted or was left on the plate. Thank you for such a wonderful evening, from the huge smiles we got from the waiters the moment we stepped in to the incredible food, it was absolutely the best dining experience!

My partner had gone in to ask for a table for 9 and was refused so he sent me down to ask and they got me in straight away. To me this was very biased and unfair towards him, they accused him of being drunk and abrupt however he was just upset that they refused him and accepted me instead. Didn't end up eating here. We both used to love imc, however we have found the last couple times we have eaten here, the service has gone massively downhill.

We went here on Wednesday night and the meals where amazing,this is the third time we have been here, the satay chicken was to die for and my partner and our friend had steak,they where very impressed,cooked perfectly and the staff where great

Went to IMC for my daughter’s birthday celebrations on Saturday night. It was a large party of over 25. Meals came out promptly. Steak was amazing, cooked perfectly! Also seafood & chicken dishes for non steak eaters. The staff were so cooperative, looking after cake, decorations & even sang Happy Birthday with feeling!! Great quality customer service!! Great meals!! We just loved eating meat sourced direct from the farmers that grow it. Positive party atmosphere for all ages, we all had the best time!! If you want good meals, good service & a good time, check this out.

Beautiful food for a great price. Also thank you too the gentleman who gave us paper and crayons for my crazy toddler who was having a meltdown. Love service from all staff and really appreciated the thank you when we were leaving. Everyone seemed to actually enjoy their jobs which is a welcome change �

After dropping many people off to this restaurant over the past 6 months I knew that I had to try it out for my self. Whilst admitting to still be sad at the closure of Benny’s Hot Wok, we knew we had to get past that and give this place a try with an open mind, albeit tinged with expectation, given the great reviews I had been given by my customers. On arrival we discovered that there is no table service. We were directed to the order station for our meals after perusing the menu, and the bar tp purchase drinks. Quite casual. Ordering from the grill is in fact a great idea, as it gives you a look at the meat you are ordering. But it also makes the ordering more difficult, as when you see the cuts of beef, you can quickly come down with fomo. Nevertheless, I had decided on the 400gm Rib Fillet (medium rare), and Jan had the 300gm Eye fillet(medium). We had sauces on the side. It appears my fomo was well founded, as Jan’s steak was perfection (for medium),and mine was quite undercooked, much closer to rare than requested. I didn’t ask for a recook, as it wasn’t terrible, just not great. The side accompaniments were good also. I would like to see a greater variety of beers on tap, although they do have a few boutique beers in bottles... Would I go back? Definitely, if only to try the eye fillet, which looked (and tasted)amazing.

What an absolutely cracking meal. Quick service, amazing food. Nothing to fault at all. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back time and time again.

Omg great steak!! Was a bit noisy inside. Once we finally got a seat after a 20 min wait the meals came out reasonably quick. Very polite staff. Compliments to the chefs for making our steak so mouth watering good. You may need a bigger Restaurant though!

Service was great, everyone had a good attitude. It was a busy night and our meals were out quickly. The steak was cooked to perfection we all had grass fed and the salad was fresh

First time I have been there and all of the staff were so friendly and my steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. We didn't have a long wait on being seated or for our food. Will definitely be going back.

Large table food delivered in reasonable time and right temperature. Reasonably priced. Busy venue and was a little hard to carry a conversation. Staff were polite and attentive. Shame that my steak was over cooked 😥
