Very nice, I tried a selection on the guest beers, the peanut butter stout was very interesting and nice. I had the butchers block and the meat was exceptionally cooked and melt in your mouth. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Popped in for a quick couple of sneaky beers - followed the google reviews to come here, as I’m not a local ... didn’t let me down - I always like to try local first and they were great ... guy behind the bar talked me through what to do first - slowly worked my way through most ... great beer - couple of interesting ones and reasonably priced

We got the sliders and the beer and bbq sizzling skirt. Both were amazing and reasonably priced. They also have awesome lunch specials.

Honestly did not expect what we got. Amazing tapas. Can't rate highly enough. Would rate the two meals we got between three as high as I would from Jam or equivalent. SURPRISING is the best word I can use.

This should be the taphouse that all others are measured against. Fantastic crew, friendly, happy to talk about all the beer on tap, what they have tried and what they want next. Pour your own concept, great idea. You want a mouthfull to try, then pour just that and pay a little. You like one then pour one when ever your ready. I cant say enough how great this place is......

Amazing tapas, everything tasted perfect, sauce on my kilpatrick was just a bit overpowering but definitely rate this establishment as a very enjoyable evening. Yummy Malibu and pineapple juice, could have drank a lot more! Thanks to all the staff working valentines day. 😊

My husband and I have moved to Townsville from Gold Coast where we were spoilt for great restaurants and bars. It took us a litle while until we had found City Lane and The Tap House. I have to say that it has great menu with delicious food the best fresh oysters and fantastic margaritas! We highly recommend it!

Casual atmosphere among several other modern eateries and bars, great spot to meet friends and people-watch...or just grab a quiet beer after the sapping task of shopping! Food is designed to share and is outstanding in taste, value and variety ...suits the setting and casual atmosphere. As you might guess, I’m a semi-regular!

central venue as it is in City Lane. Great atmosphere staff friendly and helpful learned to pull my own pint. Many craft beers on offer and they are changed regularly. My partner and I have different tastes in beer we both found beers we liked. Will go again next time in Townsville

Just had a fantastic lunch with the family, my daughter had the crumbed Brie and loved it, I had the tasting plate and it was delicious, wife had the best calami ever, they had ran out of BBQ sauce for my sons chips but they went over to the place next door and grabbed some from them. Great customer service. And the beer was bloody good too.

This place has a nice vibe to itself. They had a live singer Friday nite - he was good n there's this bartender who makes margarita the way it should be.
