Coffees were made really well. We enjoyed our breakfast too. Meals came out pretty quickly. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. Options to choose from in the glass cabinet at the counter. There is also a cute little kids play area in the back corner. Will be going back soon!

Absolutely delicious. Great coffee, fresh and hot breakfast. That chilli jam was so tasty! Crossed paths with three staff members, all equally friendly and polite. Really nice vibe.

First time and YES!!! Max Coffee was amazing. Thank you didnt ask how many shots as always feel Coffee Bristol's add too many to larger size. But it was as amazing. Hope photos give business lift your you profile on goggle maps and reviews since lm in top of Australia reviewers .Great prices and customer service. Also dine in and have a meal.

The service at tide Cafe was amazing. We didn't have a booking but in 5 minutes Chris had organised somewhere for us to sit while we ordered. The staff were friendly and polite and went above and beyond. And the breakfast and coffee were delicious. Thank you we will be back.

Visited here two days in a row for breakfast and we enjoyed it each time. The lovely waiter always gave us the same great table each time. Try the waffles with banana and bacon... I loved them so much that I had them two days in a row, haha! The staff were friendly, the waiter particularly hospitable and charming, and the food delicious! 10/10

On a quick visit from cairns, went there on a whim and very glad we did, food and coffee was great 👍. Went back the next morning and tried a different meal and was perfect again.

We had a lovely breakfast there, if you want fast forget it, but the food is tasty and service was good, didn’t get asked if we wanted water for the table but that could of been an oversight on that day, but we would definitely recommend it

Tide Cafe had been mentioned in a number of my friend's conversations, and I wanted to see what all the talk was about. In retrospect, the cafe emitted a seaside vibe with an urban twist. The coffee was the best I'd had in a while, and the breakfast while being quite generous, easily lasted the entire conversation. The service was welcoming and on key with the busy atmosphere. Additional touches such as dog beds and waterbowls stated a welcoming environment for our fury friends. Overall, the minimalist, creative use of space was inviting and while our food did take a little longer to arrive than other places, the well placed position of the cafe captured the aesthetics of the area which kept us occupied. Highly recommended!

Was recommended to try the coffee at Tide and I was very impressed, one of the few places I'd recommend for a great Coffee in Townsville. I even got to meet the owner to my surprise that served me and made my coffee, very professional, friendly and great customer service from him. Will be going back when I'm on the strand in the future.

Beverage list should be reviewed to reflect what you are paying for, ordered regular size cuppachino, list was 3.50, charged $4.50 when questioned the charge and change owner got angry.

The staff there are fantastic. Always helpful and the food and coffee are amazing.

Used Tide Cafe for catering at a birthday party. Could not fault them. Easy to communicate with, accommodated for dietary requirements, food was hot and delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Just had a wonderful lunch here, they made my dietary requirements easy to cater for! Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options are great to see.

So. I blame myself, I never learn. After messaging a few weeks ago about bacon that wasn't received I thought give them another chance it must be easy to make mistakes in a busy cafe. Prior to that fateful occasion the service was exemplary. This time i ordered a long black, medium and a croissant what i recieved was a long black, small. The croissant did not arrive. Now I can see a pattern developing. I am out of pocket for the second time, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I am absolutely furious that they robbed me twice. All my fault. Should have gone anywhere else but Tide.

This place is great!! Get drinks and food from the Fairfield Central Tide very often and never had a problem!! Food is excellent and coffee is great. Keep it up

Service and food quality is unmatched by any cafe' in Townsville. Owner operated and these guys put in 110%. Good coffee too!! ;)

Food was great. Public holiday and service was still excellent. Lost .05 here >> Ordered two long blacks and one was a bit too cool but the other was perfect. The cool one just lost that sippiness I enjoy in a coffee. So 4.95 stars in reality but close enough to 5.

Went to tide at fairfeild today. Ordered 3 x scoops of icecream for my kids. Each scoop was $4 and the ice cream was dripping and melted as they were scooping it out! The little cup wasnt even half filled and it was half liquid half ice cream. Felt ripped off but payed anyway as the kids really wanted them. Wont go there for icecream again.

Best cafe in Townsville - breakfast is always spot on!

Not worth the money spent, didnt peel the oranges in the fruit salad and 1 little peice of toast cut in half with the eggs.

It was a perfect sunny morning and my husband and I was just looking for something that's open at the time so we could eat. I totally enjoyed their eggs Benedict specially the bacon. It was really yummy. Would've been nice if they had it on a little bit airier or fluffier bread, since I'm not a fan of sourdough bread. My husband also enjoyed his meal and the cappuccino, it's a nice place to have coffee and chat.

Went here with a friend for brekky, ordered the salmon, pumpkin and kale omelette (the omelette special for that day) and sides of grilled tomatoes and sautéed mushrooms, what was put on my plate was a mushroom and tomato omelette??? No salmon, kale or pumpkin... Note that I repeated my order 3 times to the young lady at the till having a hunch that she wasn't getting it right. To make it worse the mushrooms were whole, the tomatoes were the big tomatoes cut not suitably for an omelette, and 85% of the omelette was just egg with no good bits :( so was a bit awkward and sad about this, service was fine otherwise and good location.

Coffee was spot on! I ordered a small, strong flat white, no sugar needed. Price was a bit up there at $3.70.

Enjoyed our breakfast. We had breakfast at Tide last weekend, very pleased with the seating, food and service, very friendly staff, so we are taking some friends tomorrow 6/7/14.
