Review Strand Souvlaki Bar - Townsville

I was really pleased with my meal at The Strand Souvlaki Bar. The Keftethes Side was excellent - the meatballs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. The chips and greek style calamari were also great. The customer service was friendly and quick to bring out the order. Overall, I thought the food was fantastic and the service was very good. I would definitely recommend The Strand Souvlaki Bar to anyone looking for a great Greek meal. I will be sharing this meals with many others. Thanks! You will be catching me there again next time shortly.

Food was delicious. We did take away and the young boy who served us did an amazing job with taking our order. Highly recommended. Being a good Friday we had to wait for our food but that was ok as there weren't many places to eat that were open. The only reason for the 1 star less was a surcharge was added on top of the order because it was a public holiday. Unsure why this was necessary. Otherwise it was great.

Always a favourite, food is always fresh. I'm a fan of the Souvlaki Pack. Good value at around $16

Friendly service, excellent food! Honey Puffs and a traditional Greek coffee are a must! Something for everyone! Does get busy but so worth it!

Best food in the area. Was probably best lamb plate I've had. I recommend the open plate lamb yiros, will leave anyone satisfied. Extra points for being open between 2-5pm as most places close here in Townsville.

Love this place great family run place with great food! Wish I lived next door then I would never have to cook. The tzakiki is to die for, I would buy bottles of it if they sold it like this.

Returned here after a good experience 2 yr ago and very disappointed. The price is obscene for the quantity. $10 for 5 tiny haloumi sticks which were mostly crumb with very little haloumi. $1.80 to upgrade my drink from 375ml to 600ml and $21 for a yiros and fries combo which only had a handful of fries. The yiros and chips were tasty, but $32.80 for a fast food meal is crazy.
