First time I came here and got smashed Avo toast it was really great. Large chunks of fresh green avocado and everything else was perfect. See first photo. Came back a few days later and ordered it again and got this brown tasteless paste. I also ordered an egg sunny side up and got a hard fried egg. I sent it back and the fixed the egg but the Avo was still disgusting. Second photo. I was so hungry I didn’t bother sending it back second time I think twice about eating here again.

Coffee club Townsville on the stand. Nice and quiet after a long drive from Rockhampton. Speed in for a quick coffee and a break, just what the body needed after 8 hours drive. Handy to the beach and not a bad menu to choose from. Will come back for lunch for sure whilst here in Townsville. Cheers big ears

Food was terrible quality the people cooking clearly did not care at all about the food they were sending out. I paid $4 to add mushrooms to my breakfast and this is why I was given, absolutely disgusting. Poached eggs were very over cooked, it’s very disappointing for the price you pay. I would highly recommend getting rid of whoever is in the kitchen because they have no quality standards at all. The young girl who was serving the food had great customer service and was very apologetic but to send that out on a plate is an absolute joke. I will never be returning to that location again!

One of the better Coffee Clubs I've ever tried.
We stopped in on a Tuesday morning on the odd occasion to see how their menu stood up.
The value that we received, and the friendliness from the staff, saw us coming back on the Wednesday morning for breakfast as well.
We ordered the bacon and eggs, and the mushrooms on toast.
Both were plentiful, and tasty.
Special mention to the tomato chutney on the bacon and eggs, such a rich flavour. It was divine.
If we ever return to the area, this is the Cafe we will go for breakfast!

Little disappointed today as we often eat here. They overcharged $3.9 as they incorrectly added 90c to our order but then brought out the wrong meal to my wife which had a $3 difference to the dearer meal she ordered. Then my omelette was bland and had the skin left on the tomatoes. It was also missing the tomato relish that normally comes with this dish and really makes it pop. Disappointed because it is normally outstanding. Will give another try to see they redeem themselves.

The usual coffee club menu but the ambience was made better by the markets on flinders street on a Sunday morning, the vibe and the atmosphere was really relaxed and chilled out. We ordered scrambled eggs and chilli egg wrap, everything was really nice, the waiters accomodating. We visited in oct 2020 and were able to dine, with no advance booking as lot of tables available to utilise

This was my Eggs Benedict this morning. Obviously I cut into them before this photo was taken, however this meal costs $18.90. Very poor presentation and for that price you'd expect atleast a small side salad to compliment the meal.
Also the pigeons walking around inside put me off a bit.

The coffe was Luke warm, food was below average to say the least, I asked for really runny poached eggs them came out almost hard boiled, the mushrooms looked and tasted like they had been dried out then reconstituted and the bacon very greasy plus it being a public holiday in Townsville there was a 15% surcharge taking the cost of breakfast to just under $30, all in all don't eat there

Waited 5 minutes to be served. Took a phone call then and allowed a few people to go ahead of me as I spoke. After they waited 5 minutes, they were served. I then finished my phone call....but the waitress disappeared and I wanted again for 10 minutes before I managed to get her attention to serve me.
