Everything you need and more here at Castletown shopping centre. Has Woolworths and a variety of different shops for you to shop at. Beautiful air-conditioner nice and cold. We dropped in for lunch and enjoyed every little bit of the air conditioner. Very busy at this time of year though. Cheers big ears
CastleTown Shoppingworld .. is a good sized shopping centre on Woolcock St Townsville
There is a large variety of shops .. from clothing , food & homewears
Plus there's spacious Coles & Woolworth supermarkets .. & a BigW department store
CastleTown was a little quiet before closing time on a Sunday afternoon
We had well received Bubble Tea & Fruit Teas , from Chatime
When I use to live in Townsville - CastleTown was my local shopping mall
For carparking .. there's outdoor & below ground ( underneath the shopping centre ) parking
Good shopping centre, variety of outlets. The Toymate was a highlight of the visit for my children. Parents be warned - enter this store and you'll either have a lighter bank account, need tissues for upset youngsters (or adult partners,) when you leave, or no kids as you'll lose sight of them amongst the huge range of toys.
Ate & socialized at coffee place on right top of escalators next to Baker's Delight across from Woolworths. JBD has taken my new beautiful ring to repair it. Bought Date & Coffee Loaf at Baker's Delight. Disability toilet close by. Gentleman at a Gold Jewellery counter in the centre very helpful & so were Prouds Jewellery when asked for advice.
A men's clothing store also allowed my son & grandson to gather ideas for a Birthday gift for his brother.
Loved it, Centre has every shop you need. If, you haven't been there...go. You won't regret it!
It's alright, still prefer stockland, castle town has no food court and less of a selection. But despite that, the selection has been improving as of late, for example, the comic book factory has moved from willows to castle town, and a Coles has opened up. I will say though that if they had a food court and a QBD book store it'd probably be an ideal place to shop.
It's pretty good. Getting bigger and better. Doesn't have jb hi fi or kmart which would give it 5 starts. Handy shopping mall if you don't want to go to stocklands

ones in this mall, it's good to explore.
