Weak effort guys Also paid for lettuce in my burrito and it looks like you guys decided instead to just sprinkle a little on the top instead And it seems to be filled with only rice...with light scattering of mince in one corner I'm from Sydney and order gyg from a variety of places down there, regularly (go to treat foods)and you guys are nowhere near the standard Response-So you don't bother to do your job properly but I'm the one who's meant to jump through hoops. I have reported the issue, you have acknowledged you've seen it and it is valid. Now it's your job to send through this info to the right ppl, if you don't have the ability to properly address it and they can contact me. Or you can continue to send robotic messages and fake sincerity (with zero intention of fixing the problem 🤷‍♀️).... continue to do the bare minimum of your job, like the employee at your store making the food

Ordered meals they failed to print on the sticker printed we were 1 of 3 groups in the store. Waited 20 min for the meals after the staff realised. Then no cutlery for takeaway hair in 1 nachos and a poor quesadilla.

Guzman y Gomez - Townsville Central is a phenomenal dining experience, whether you get take away or eat in. To say they are the perfect Mexican restaurant is an understatement. They are THE PERFECT RESTAURANT. It is hard to describe to an unlucky individual who has yet to experience the unmatched culinary handy word that is performed daily by a GYG chef. My best attempt would most definitely fall short. Just go try it (get one of the salsas that used to be at the salsa station)

I would give a zero if I could. Lettuce was stale, chicken was undercooked and the whole bowl was just a mess. No sauces, no napkins, nothing - just vibes. I remembered it being pretty good back in the day but seems they have fallen off terribly. Won't be eating there again.

Ordered takeaway few times over the last few months and can clearly see that the food quality is declining. In today's enchiladas I had undercooked rice and burnt chicken, corn chips were soggy and guacamole looked mushy and not fresh. I'm a bit disappointed with my today's experience.

We had quesadillas, chips , slow cooked beef bowl, burrito, and unfortunately none of them had any flavour, very bland. Corona beer was good for 5$,the dine in environment is pretty chill though. won’t be back for food, maybe for beer.

I love BURITTO'S! But apparently you can't marry them in Australia. Oh yeah 2 men can get married but look at a buritto with more than just eating it on mind and you are labelled a freak. Push the boundaries people, push the boundaries. this place would get 5 star if they were free.

I ordered the chicken salad, chicken is cold, salad is watery…. My husband ordered nachos chips, chips are cold and looked like been prepared yesterday. Disgusting. Goodness sake, if you don’t like what you do, don’t work there. Waste of money.

Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. They even offered to replace a meal that was ordered that was too spicy to eat. 👍 Thanks guys.

Came here for the $5 burrito day and it was PACKED. Although they were busy, they had the right amount of staff, everyone was friendly and excited and the food was delicious and perfectly cooked and not rushed. Will be back ;)

First time in trying your food and absolutely feel in love with it and the staff were both helpful and friendly great work

Im 39weeks pregnant went into this store to buy a drink. I ordered a apple juice, the cashier grabbed the juice from below and before she gave it to me she shook it a few times (me wondering in my head why?) Didnt think of anything so walked out. As i went to open my juice i noticed alot of floaties in my juice. Only to see the juice EXPIRED more than a year before � i took the drink back and got a refund no sincere apology which pissed me off the most! just a quick sorry i didnt know would u like a different drink?! Never will i return and if yous have expired drinks just think what other drinks or foods they would be serving that are off?! Would not recommend this place to anyone! No stars.

Dearest GYG: your food is delicious, sufficiently spicy, and possibly the closest approximation of Mexican food that Townsville will ever be graced with. One error with syntax, however: the enchilada is not a true enchilada but is technically a wet burrito (nonetheless tasty).

yummy food. we had burritos and nachos. like how you can add your own salsa of varying degrees of spicyness.

Unfortunately for me I thought Quesadillas came with more than a teaspoon of meat, cheese and a burnt tortilla. Considering it wasn't even busy I don't get why it's so hard to make an item the way it's meant to be

had a friend who was employed by the company was given 2 shifts the total no more then 5 hours before they told her (mind you she has worked in this industry her whole life) told her because she didnt know everything! pathetic excuse for a restraunt

Food is amazing, one of our favourites. Was disappointed to see that while the 3 girls are working hard tonight, the male on shift tonight is stuck on his phone. Actually literally serving food while checking his phone! Let's hope he's just new to the team, would hate to think that's the front face for GYG.
