Gouging customers to pay by debit card, 30c. One tiny easily missed sign to the right of the counter in the corner but doesn't state the size of the charge. Their business their choice to pass on but they have lost a customer as I despise this sort of conduct.
Dont have sour dough bread all the time bread very nice bread cant say the same 4 older lady big change over of staff different face every time u go there always seem 2 b interviewing new staff not a happy place 2 work it seems
So very disappointed! Purchased Garlic, Cheese & Chives twist - should have been called "Olive oil & Chives(?)" - No garlic flavour at all. Only nice thing that I have to say - is the bread was fresh. Spinach and Feta Twist - lacked flavour as well.
I went there and bought a couple if cakes. End up coming to just under $5. The girl behind the counter told me couldn't take card be wise under $5. Tried to get me to buy more stuff. Just walked away and bought some cakes at the cafe across from it. They had no problem taking my money and the cakes
Best cream buns of all time!! As a kid I remember amazing cream buns from a small bakery in Innisfail, and I haven't seen anything close in 25 years. Until today. OMG that same sweetened cream and soft fluffy bun took me back - thanks so much guys!
Great pastries, pies and sausage rolls, not a massive fan of the minimum eftpos amount being 10c more than a pie (Meaning I always have to buy two things if I don't have cash on me), however if you have cash it's not an issue.
Simply - the best variety in Townsville. Support a local hard at work.
Love the bread, cakes and pastries.
