Review Milk Espresso Stockland - Townsville

I stopped in here for a drink while a family member was shopping and it was a good experience. They had a range of teas available as well as different snacks in the cabinet. Staff were friendly with orders made at the front counter, then they are brought to your table. I also saw staff routinely wiping down and sanitising tables as customers left. To ensure that social distancing requirements were met as well, some tables were blocked off. All in all, I had a lovely chai latte here and it was a nice place to catch up with friends. Absolutely terrible service today. Staff appear uninterested and chatting instead of working. The barista burned my milk, was very rude and I had to correct her procedures several times due to hygiene issues. Tried to get in touch with a manager to no avail, guaranteed a call back immediately but no one has returned my call. Save yourself the negative experience and pick one of the other many fine coffee shops in town.

Milk Espresso Stockland!! It’s really really nice, if a little bit over priced. Coffee quality tends to vary greatly depending on who the barista is, but that’s to be expected. I wish they would train all staff to be on a similar level to one another, because there really is nothing more disappointing than expected a coffee to be on par to what was made yesterday, and have it taste burnt. There is a centre staff discount for those who work in Stockland though, which is always a business move I will support. Overall the coffee is good, but if you see a male barista with black hair, that’s when you know it’s going to be heavenly.

Owner is Very Good and it's a lovely place to spend time and have some coffees. Coffees and foods are healthy and fresh too. Also they serve fresh food not the display one.

A beautiful pair of sweet milky coffees to start the day! We also had a fruit scone with jam and cream that was delicious, really well cooked and served warm. There are the right amount of tables, spaced apart just right for their area that makes it feel a bit pre-covid. The staff were friendly and helpful although the stuff they spray the tables down with is really strong, hold your breath! A very good experience :)
