Review Ichiban Noodles - Townsville

Simple people (employees) but damn they make a banging stir fried prawn. Don't come here for customer service. Come here for quick, tasty Asian food from a minimalistic - non confusing menu. If you're a princess, who loves some attention from hospitality, avoid this place, cause you'll likely have a cry at their customer service

Very poor quality food. I personally would not recommend this place due to the quality of the food prepared to be less than average. We ordered a chicken udon soup and got three strips of waaaay over cooked and slightly burnt chicken and the udon noodles felt slimy to eat..... In fact I could not bring myself to finish them. We also ordered a bento box. Again we got a chicken in breadcrumbs but the chicken was again waaaaaaaaaaay over cooked and smothered in this mayonnaise dressing that took what ever minimal flavour was in the chicken away. The beef and rice part was excellent though but again still over cooked. I personally will not eat here again and I will not tell any of my friends to eat here....... But feel free to try for your self.

I love the food but this is the 3rd time i have found a grey short single hair in my bowl. Not happy with that, quite concerning how hair always seems to get in the food, will have to find another noodle takeaway to go to...

Nothing Special, but OK food. Overall Ichiban is quick Asian style food, which is hard to find in Townsville. However the service and food quality could be improved greatly to make the experience better.

Do you generally judge a book by its cover ? Now with this store, despite its service and appearance, does a fantastic job with their feed at such a low price. Why hesitate, go and demonstrate.

Love the satay chicken, couldn't give a toss wether the staff don't talk much, all that matters is the cooking

Ask for rice and 2 out of 3 time get egg noodles for Mongolian beef and when I tried to ask why this happened, I couldn't get a direct answer. Won't be going there again.

Sadly this place is closed down ... does anyone know if they're opening up a shop else where ... they make the best steamed dim sims and special fried rice.
