Review Pizza Central - Townsville

Ordered a pizza at 6.46...told to pick it up in 35 minutes..still waiting at 7.46 (one of them has only just gone in the fire after we arrived) Not impressed with the service..was basically told too bad how sad .. that they had a run on and it couldn't be helped. It is grand final night for goodness sake..we would have made other arrangements if we had of known.. If we were told that we had to wait an hour and 15 mins it would have been ok as we would have expected it... what really did not impress up was that there was 1 staff at the front and 1 at the back yet there was still no hurry from the staff.. the oven was empty then had only 1 of our pizzas in which was put in after we arrived about 40 mins in...they made the other one after us being there about 15 mins.. (our Garlic Bread was well and truely cooked and sitting on top of the side oven it was cold even though we asked him to put it back in the fire to heat up)..not impressed that there was a lack of staff on such a busy night the Owner should have been made aware of the situation.. not impressed as we have fabulous service in the past and this is our go to pizza place in Townsville. What makes it worse was that when we got home (5mins) the garlic bread was cold, one pizza was overcooked (photo) and one was undercooked.. We will be very reluctant to.buy pizza in future or recommend it as we have in the past.⁰

I ordered for delivery at 7.10pm and the delivery time recommended at 8.50. Decided to give it a go anyway since the reviews aren't too bad. By 9.30pm I called to ask where my delivery was and I got rubbish excuses about the driver being on his way. 10.10pm my food arrived. The driver was in a ridiculous car with no muffler (I have newborns in my street) and i was offered no compensation or apology whatsoever. Pizza was cold and average at best. Do not recommend

This one star review is given in response to repeated attempts to retrieve funds from this business for over 3 months. I can say the pizzas are great, as I have eaten there. After a long winded exercise this business finally paid their outstanding debts. Google will not let me delete a rating now that they have finally paid.

Good Pizzas, I reckon these guys are pretty good. Their Supreme is delicious and the cheese and bacon garlic bread is the best in Town! 5 Stars is free, keep small business going I say!

The regular supreme pizza I ordered in store was ready quiet fast and was the perfect size for one person, the pizza was absolutely delicious and I will be buying pizza from here again.

Flamin expensive, flamin tasteless, flamin ordinary. Ordered a meatlovers....no pizza sauce on the base, lots of mince, manufactured ham and minimal pepperoni.

Good ambience , their loaded cheese pizza is a wow !!

Tasty, loaded and perfect crisp base....beats others in Townsville hands down
