We went there after looking for somewhere to eat late on a Sunday night. This turned out to be a wise decision as we enjoyed some of the best Thai available in Victoria. The fish cakes were just right, the Panang curry very good and the Green curry equally as good if not quite hot enough for my taste. Disappointingly the Massaman curry contained slices of beef not cubes of meat. Slow cooked cubes are not only tender but soak up the flavour adding to the overall enjoyment of the dish. With cubes of beef the rating I have given would have been 5 not 4.
We returned yesterday and the standard has not dropped but the beef in the Massaman curry is still sliced. Pity!
Great Thai restaurant with good atmosphere to dine in. Plenty of space to sit in. The menu is good and big variety to choose from. My kids love to come here.
This has to be the best Thai resteraunt i have been to in a long time. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly. The service itself was okay, but the food was so delicious i would definitely go again.
We were travelling around Gippsland over the long weekend and tonight we stayed at Tarralgon. We had fish and chips and pizzas the night before so we wanted Asian food (RICE!). We found this gem and glad that we went here for dinner! Very friendly customer service and food came out within a short time of waiting. We ordered Pad Thai Seafood, Red duck curry, Deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce with a small serve of rice and Banana sticky rice as dessert. All for $85.50 with generous serving! Food was yummy although Pad thai was not to our liking, but we did enjoy our experience.
I love the food here!! Some of, if not the best Thai I've had. Highly recommend it to everybody. The $33 banquet for 2 has the perfect amount of food to share and if you don't finish it all they'll put it in takeaway containers for you!
The No.36 sizzle is excellent. Reasonable food sometimes service is slow. Seems to serve heaps of take aways. Some tables don't have much wriggle room between them.

Food can occasionally take a while to be served but well worth the wait! A regular that will continue to return.
Ordered the pad thai which was delicious. Staff were friendly and the restaurant looked neat and clean. Asked for extra chicken but it seems I got only the normal amount that you would put in. Overall great tasting quality food!
Had the banquet. First of all it was great value. All of the food was delicious, great flavor and balanced perfectly. Only one criticism and that's the coffee at the end wasn't good at all. The service was also outstanding will be going again.
Very good flavours. Had the Satay chicken and the roast duck curry with coconut rice. The Satay chicken was delicious. The duck meat was tough tho, way overcooked and there was only 3 pieces of it, bit disappointing. The coconut rice was very fragrant, close to perfection in my opinion. Overall very happy :)
Pad krapow was great. Will be returning.

I'm a local resident and I love Traralgon Thai. I admit the restaurant service isn't the best but the food is great. Highly recommended.
Visited TT on a Wed night for takeaway whilst in town for business. The food definitely lived up to the 80% Urbanspoon rating! The green curry was spicy like it should be - and a bargain for $13. The roti and spring rolls were on the disappointing and dry side though.
There was a busy takeaway line and a decent sized dine in crowd for a midweek meal. The restaurant itself was very pleasant. I'd definitely recommend TT!
The food was great! Generous serves. Took a while to get the waiters attention but the food was served fast.
Highlight of Traralgon. I travel a lot with work and everywhere I go I try the local Thai food. So far Traralgon Thai has been one of the better Thai options in regional Victoria. I can't comment on how the meats are cooked like many of the reviews below as I am a vegetarian but their veggie panang is fantastic! Goo wine and beer list, good atmosphere and friendly staff (though they can be a tad slow). Definitely recommend if you're in town.
Wonderful experience. This is the Best Thai restaurant in the local area. Great food, great service and wonderful ambiance. Even their take away service is great. During really busy nights you wait a little longer than normal but I have never had to wait hours to be served nor have I ever had to go up and ask for drinks.....one of the better restaurants in the valley
