Stopped by on the way through Traralgon! Chicken was juicy and moist, chips were crunchy and fresh! Also tried the scallop potato and chicken schnitzel. Everything was good, highly recommended if you’re stopping by Traralgon
Years ago, while on holiday, my son saw an ad on Gippsland TV saying Traralgon Charcoal Chicken was "the best charcoal chicken in town" and asked if we could go. The power of advertising!! On our drive back to Melbourne we stopped there for lunch. We now stop here for lunch when driving from Melbourne through Traralgon. My son says it's the best charcoal chicken in Victoria.
This is the place to go for our team here at Traralgon. We went there and I got a 1/4 chicken pack and a large chicken avocado salad.
The chicken and fries here were so good. Chicken was roasted perfectly preserving the juices and the fries were close to perfect!
The salad was a little messy however and there were so many crunchy end pieces of the chicken which had to spit out. Other than that this was a good hearty meal. Highly recommended.!
I have never got a bad meal here. We ordered a cheese burger which was beautiful and fresh and delicious hot fresh chips and didn't have to wait too long.
