One of the best cafes in west Melbourne. Welcoming staff and the service was very quick.Taste was top notch and the menu had a variety of options to try on. Went in for the brunch and relished the food.

Plenty of parking. Food was good. Dining area needs aircon on, especially when you get full sun on the outside glass wall. Only breeze was when front door was opened.

Food was fresh and great 😊 Cappucino was good, I felt it’s little strong. We had crumbled halloumi cheese, brekkie burger and croissant with butter. It was all yumm, and quite heavy. I couldn’t even finish crumbled halloumi cheese. Will definitely visit again 👍

I had grilled chicken salad and the food was very delicious with fresh high quality ingredients! I’d highly recommend this place and give absolutely five star to the quality and taste!

Absolutely amazing! The service was incredible. The food was outstanding. We thought the menu was a bit ambitious and seemed too good to be true but they delivered! We had the Nutella crepes which are a weekly special at the moment and not only do they look amazing, they taste it too. We also had the pulled pork burger which was great too! Could not fault anything. The hot chocolates are also great! I don’t have anything bad to say

We had the steak sandwich and the pork belly salad that was on special. The steak sandwich was ok, but the pork belly salad was amazing. My wife thought it was one of the best meals she's ever had.

Fantastic up and coming local cafe with great coffee and incredible food. The Mothers Day set dinner menu was amazing! I'm still thinking about (and drooling over!) the buttered calamari (and so excited it's made it's way on to the new Tapas menu!). The hubby is also still raving about the pork belly! The staff are just gorgeous too.

Berry crepes a must and the Mezz big breakfast so fresh, delicious and huge. Presentation is stunning and coffee perfect. Staff are super friendly and menu exciting. New fave for us!

Had lunch today at Mezzanine cafe in truganina. The service was out of this world. My mum has chilli allergies and the team went to great lengths to communicate to us about our dishes and ensure that we were satisfied. We ordered the nasi goreng and homies noodles. The chef decided to create new flavors to ensure there was no chilli in the dish. Will go back here again.

Had a great time at this new gem...about time for Truganina to have great cafe. A friend and I ordered the lunch special and coffees, quantity of the meals was very generous and food tasted delicious and fresh.

We recently visited here and were happy with overall experience. The interiors are quite open and they have a split floor as well.<br/>Their specialty is the fusion take on dishes.<br/>In drinks we ordered mango madness and immunity booster which were really tasty.<br/>Then for our love for parma and burger we ordered the fusion dish of parma burger which comes with potato wedges and was good. Then we had chicken and mushroom pasta which was extremely delicious and lastly had the lamb rump which was a bit undercooked but tasty.<br/>Overall a good place and with good portion sized. The prices are a little dear.

Tried this place out as it was rated highly on zomato and was part of zomato gold.<br/><br/>Everything just did not go according to our expectations. It started with us being seated on a table that was not cleaned properly. After asking them to clean the table again, they still did not clean it properly. There were still food scraps on the table, even pointed to the section.<br/><br/>The wait on the food was quite long even though the place was quite empty. When the food arrived, it did not meet our standards. The food was overcooked and the ingredients of each dish didnt go well together. We were not able to finish the food that was served.<br/><br/>Unfortnutely it was not a good experience for us and we won't be back.

Zomato Gold restaurant with exceptional brunch food and massive portions. Whilst Mezzanine is located in the middle of woop woop for most, it is well worth a visit to try out their huge food portions.<br/><br/>We ordered today a hot chocolate and latte to start, with a pulled pork burger and the big breakfast with extra smashed avocado on the side. The hot chocolate was very very good, whilst the latte was decent enough, however nothing too memorable. What was memorable however was the food. The pulled pork burger had a very delicious, fresh and unique taste as the meat worked well with the other ingredients. A very good burger by any measure. The big breakfast is perhaps my favourite big breakfast to date- massive portion with all the right side. Indeed, I found that it was almost too much to finish! I absolutely love the menu and the quality of food in this place. The owner has done a great job and the chef is very and preparing yummy meals. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a good meal.<br/>

Mezzanine was a casual cafe located in tarneit.. this sun lit cafe located in tarneit offers up a nice setting and is able to cater for a number of seats because of its mezzanine level.. staff were also very friendly..<br/>The portions there were very generous.. however the only downside was that there wasn’t any sourdough on offer.. other than that a nice cafe out west..

After reading good reviews I was excited to try this place. Nice and spacious, staff were polite. However it disappointed when I was looking at the pictures on here and the menu being completely different. (No felafel, no green bowl and no Mac & cheese with pulled pork to name just a few). The new/changed menu was quite basic. I showed an image of the green bowl previously made here and they said they’d do it. However they didn’t look anywhere near the same. The veggies were severely over cooked, I got a few tiny squares of avocado (not a half), no asparagus and the whole thing was just bland. It was really overpriced at $23 (charged me for a Japanese breakfast, which I saw on the menu and that included salmon-mine didn’t have salmon)<br/>My friend ordered the baked eggs and wasn’t overly impressed either.<br/>The coffee was too milky for my liking and in really huge mugs, which is probably the reason why.

We are quite surprise to know that there is this cafe in Truganina, which is quite hidden I would say. Service is extremely good, very spacious, amd there are also 2 floors! <br/>My rating on food is 3.5 stars. I went with friends and I have ordered the grilled chicken salad, I find that the chicken is tol dry for me, portion is good though, presentation is great too... too bad that the chicken is too dry and hard! <br/><br/>Nevertheless, I will be back again to try the pasta. 💚<br/>

Tucked away in a corner is this gem. Good service and great food. Loved our brekky. I will come back to try the lunch as well. Wished you guys are open for dinner.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cafe, spacious restaurant and great service. My partner has nut allergies so when his baked eggs came out with dukkah they offered to make a brand new one for him and very apologetic, even though we should have picked it up from the menu. However, I just swapped my dish with his. <br/><br/>He had the smashed avo which was tasty, a dish you can’t go wrong with. I had his baked eggs which unfortunately did not hit the mark for me. There was too much beans and not a lot of chorizo pieces or sauce. <br/><br/>Will definitely be back to try their lunch dishes though! We saw some coming out of the kitchen for the other tables and it looked good.

The service was attentive. <br/><br/>I had the Aussie Chicken Parma. The chicken was massive and the side salad was delicious. I also enjoyed the side of toasted bread that came with the Spicy Eggs. The Mediterranean spices worked really well with the toasted bread. The Grilled Salmon was more on the expensive side, but was tasty with the teriyaki sauce. Grilled salmon also came with the Breakfast Bowl. <br/><br/>Overall, a cornucopia of cuisines in one menu, but all done equally well. A great place for brunch.

Food and service are awesome. Portions are generous and plenty of parkings are available on site which are great. I would definitely recommend others to come and try it out when they are in the area.

We enjoyed our visit here at Mezzanine Cafe & Lounge and is a great place in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne!<br/><br/>VENUE<br/>Our first impression was the place was modern with impressive decor with two levels, making it a perfect place to hold a function or meeting. It is very spacious with plenty of natural light. It is very family and kid friendly, with a small play nook and craft activities to keep the young ones occupied. There is also plenty an alfresco setting for the warmer days. And an abundance of parking.<br/><br/>MENU<br/>Their menu had everything! From light breakfast options to a more substantial lunch or dinner, there is definetly something for everyone! Food was modern Australian with a hint of fusion dishes that really appealed to us! We really enjoyed the Mushroom Gnocchi & the Poached Pear Granola & Yoghurt dish. There is also a kids menu. Drinks menu was awesome as well with a variety of coffee (including Vietnamese Iced Coffee), healthy juices, super shakes and alcoholic beverages.<br/><br/>SERVICE<br/>Customer service was friendly and efficient. The owner was there when we visited and you can see he was very hands on with the service, bringing dishes to us and clearing our table afterwards.<br/><br/>OVERALL<br/>Definetly worth a visit, there is clearly something for everyone here!

This is a great cafe in the western suburbs. My immediate reaction was this place is so spacious and well lit with two levels for dining. We got a wide range of dishes to try and they were all amazing. Presentation was so insta-worthy and the flavours matched how beautiful each dish was. My personal favourite was the wild mushies gnocchi. The fruit smoothies were so refreshing and the freak shakes were just next level! This cafe is also kid friendly with an outdoor playing area and indoor art station to keep the little ones happy. It was great to find such a beautiful cafe out in the western burbs

We LOVED our experience at Mezzanine! Even though I don&#039;t live close by, it was definitely worth the journey.&nbsp;<br/><br/>There is ample parking around, and lots of space inside the venue! As soon as we walked in we were warmly welcomed, the team is so friendly! The caf&eacute; has a nice atmosphere with great natural lighting and an awesome playlist! The d&eacute;cor upstairs is really cool.<br/><br/>I loved how unique the menu was, and how many vegan options they provided. I tried WILD MUSHROOM AND TOFU with teriyaki sauce, which was so flavoursome and filling! For dessert I had a SEMOLINA PUDDING, which was beautifully presented and tasted great! I haven&#039;t seen anything like these dishes at any other caf&eacute;!&nbsp;<br/><br/>The coffee was great too by the way.&nbsp;<br/><br/>Would definitely recommend a visit!

A very nice place for brunch and cozy for catch ups.. food was nice but a bit pricey for a local .. great decor and ambience. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Fritters were soggy and burgers were too messy. Coffee was ok - nothing special about it. However kudos on making a space for kids under the stairs but don’t think it’s safe - even for parents too.

So glad we stumbled across this hidden gem! Enjoy a modern and open setting with a great vibe, accompanied by delicious food and friendly staff. We were greeted by everyone behind the bar at entry which was a nice, welcoming start to our outing. I got the Japanese fritters and can not fault them. Boyfriend got the big breaky with a side of halloumi. The servings were a decent size as you can see by the halloumi image (and that was after we picked it at) looking forward to going local again!

New establishment we happened by after finishing up at the gym across the road. The owner is super friendly and you can tell he takes pride in the food served. Lots of flavour and character in the dishes. Give it a go if you’re in the area!
