Review Melrose Pizza - Tullamarine

Fast, efficient, decent priced and tasty food! The staff are very nice and welcoming. We had a table outside and after we ordered the food came out in record time! Went with the pizza with 4 different toppings which was amazing to taste the different types in one go. Would recommend this friendly place to those who haven't been as they have plenty of tables inside and out.

First delivery.. Impressed!! Very nice and efficient over the phone.Delivery was supposed to take 50 mn They arrived in 30 mn, with a big smile hot and generous food . my husband like a thick bade and we could requested it...The pizza was delicious flavoursome, fresh...I had the veal parmigiana Soo marge serv I couldn't finish!! I read a lots of good thing about Melrose pizza and I understand why..Now we have to try the restaurant ♥️♥️

Have been coming here for years. The best quality pizza I have had. The base is thin and crisp and the topping is packed with fresh ingredients. 100% recommend to anyone in the area

Everytime I go to Melrose or order from them the food is amazing and the service is exceptional. I was waiting for my order and three staff asked me if I needed anything or if I had been served. A really well run restaurant, old fashioned top notch service. Highly rec!

Guys unfortunately this is yet another very average experience. Ordered and paid for a family only to be delivered a large. When we spoke to your staff member it was like an inconvenience, very unhelpful and treated like we were trying it on and basically fobbed off. We waited over an hour. All we wanted was the rest of our pizza. Happy to discuss.

Excellent food & drink at great prices. Quick table service, very accommodating, lovely, friendly staff, easy parking, our new go to for local dining in & take away.

One of the classic pizzamakers in our local area. Hassle-free for deliveries and the taste is always spot on. They actually also offer great coffee.

I absolutely love the pizza here. It has a nice crust and is not too greasy. Staff are friendly and always let you know about deals that are going on. <br/><br/>Once they forgot about one of our pizzas for delivery and they brought it over on the house. <br/><br/>I love Melrose Pizza. It’s amazing for a local restaurant.

I ordered the Garlic prawns with salad & they were tasty & had a lot of flavour but the the let down to the dish was that the shrimp vein wasn’t removed. So I had to remove them prior to consuming them the salad was merely ok.

Top quality pizza absolutely fantastic, the Hawaiian is world class and faultless. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce is impressive for a local small pizza shop. Great service and quick to provide the meals. Recommended for a regular dinner!

Great local pizza shop, plenty seating area and actually has great atmosphere, generally very busy, staff friendly and food is better than average although prices are fairly steep for what it is

Inconsistent pizza, sometimes awesome, sometimes ok and sometimes for the bin... not even exaggerating we order two family pizzas same as what we normally get.... and OMG not even edible... we all had a slice each and threw it out😳... or should I say tried to eat a slice... thank god for kfc we were able to eat!!<br/>So if you still chose to order a pizza, my fingers are crossed for you to get an awesome one😊

Ordered from here last night as we were at a friends place. Must say the pizzas were pretty good with not much oil so they didnt make you feel sick. However my only gripe was the pizzas were quite small conpared to other places

Get takeaway pizza from here not infrequently. Pizzas are mostly hot when we get them however h<br/>They have occasionally got out order wrong which is annoying.

Absolutely fantastic. <br/>Couldn't expect better from a pizza shop. <br/>Good honest food at fair prices. <br/>The first thing I look for in a pizza is a nice crust. Melrose tick the box. Not greasy at all, a perfect pizza base accompanied by fresh and well proportioned toppings. Some places put too much on a pizza and they "steam" instead of being cooked well - Melrose has the pizza just about perfect for my liking. <br/>Pastas are more than you would expect from a pizza shop also. Would do most restaurants in comparison easily. We had a generous and perfectly textured Gnocchi Carbonara. The sauce gleamed, with exactly the right bite of Parmesan and the subtle but present garlic and onion cream with the bacon fleck. One of the better gnocchis I have eaten to be honest in these type of restaurants. The way in facility was warm, which isn't easy in Melbournes winters. And the staff so friendly and obliging. One of The kids on our table knocked a drink over, and without asking the staff promptly replaced it free of charge. That resulted in a second round of drinks which I normally would not have bought - but such did we enjoy the meal and surrounds. A Perfectly made coffee ended our meal. A dessert will have to wait for next time as the food was just too good to leave any room. <br/>One of the better take-away establishments I have ever eaten at. <br/>A credit to the staff, management, and chefs. <br/>

Ordered take away pizzas. Again happy with the service. They seem to have a high tech ordering system for a small business. There is never any confusion and wait time are always minimal. Pizza is super delicious but always very salty.

Best local pizza near me. Never had a bad pizza. Recommended for pizza. They have a variety of flavours and a four corners of you want to try different ones for just one pizza.

The best local pizza you are going to get! Our favs are meat lovers, bbq chicken and vegetarian. Always fresh and the service is great. A must try!

Love this place, never fails to serve up consistently good pizza and great service. Lunchtime meal deals are great value, ample parking, outdoor heated seating, quick and easy. Ticks all the boxes.

The pizzas here are not what they were a few years back. Has been declining in quality over that period and it's only convenience and hope that they'll return to their glory that has kept me going back. If you enjoy a pizza doused in cheese and sauce and little else of substance you'll probably enjoy Melrose Pizza. Otherwise, spend a bit extra and go to Gradi.

The Forkwit loves Pizza. Old-school wood fired pizzas are nice but if you want a classic take away pizza...this is the place. This place is always buzzing and the staff are all friendly. A bit of competition in the area from rival pizzerias but Melrose Pizza has them covered. In fact if there was a cage match between Melrose Pizza and a competitor...they would win. Good on you Melrose Pizza. Kudos.

Tried this place on way to airport and was pleasantly surprised by the food and especially the service. Had the veal Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and chips...was HUGE (great value for $17)! Fed two of us nicely that we could barely touch the marinara pizza. Cafe latte was also decent. Night that we were there had old-school r&b playing which was a nice touch. Will come back for the service and great value meals.

On our way to Tullamarine and stopped for a quick dinner ...the best pizza I've had in a VERY long time!!! ...leaves the pizzas in Prahran/Armadale/Malvern for dead... we had Capriciosa with feta...and the coffee was ohhh so good 👍😁<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Great place for quality pizzas and typical pizza shop main meals. Can get extremely busy so noise pollution can be an issue if eating in; al fresco dining is lovely in the summer.

These guys deserve the top rating. Pizza was absolutely perfect, generous with toppings, not overly greasy or dry, garlic bread was very nice.<br/>To top it all off the delivery was on time, by a very polite person. <br/><br/>I've basically tried all Pizza places within the area and these guys by far know what they're doing when it comes to pizza. Well done, keep it up I'll be returning.

Well went here with a group of people for lunch after a long day of work. All I can first impression the device was not great, the waitress at the front pretty much palmed our whole table off to another girl so we waited until it was ready. Ordered the gnocchi which was quite salty and my friend agreed. Others got a range of variety including the steak which was said to be a cheap piece of meat and full of fat she wasn't happy. Other friends got the garlic prawns which were satisfactory and finally a chicken parmy which he said was huge and could have had more sauce. One of the worst let downs for this place is allowing people to smoke anywhere outside the restaurant whilst dining. I didn't know that was allowed in Australia near a good place? It made for a cigarette smelling meal and everyone wanted to leave soon after. When paying the workers were rude and awkward. It wasn't the best place but looked like a good place for locals to hang out !

Have tried a pizza a couple of times from this place. The Aussie pizza with a egg and pineapple was amazing. A large pizza is super large and can easily feed three people.

Melrose is the place! With its great customer service I've been a long term customer. Perfect food every time! Especially the chicken parmas! Keep up the work guys :)

AMAZING!!!. If you are in this area you have to try Melrose Pizza. Would go as far to say that it is one of the best, if not the best, pizza and lasagne we have had (and we eat alot of Italian). Paid big $$ on lygon street 2 nights ago for Italian and they have nothing on Melrose!!! Our flight was unfortunately delayed which landed us at an airport hotel and gosh are we glad that happened or we would've never had this amazing and delicious food. If you are in the area for any reason get to Melrose and get a pizza and lasagne, you will not be disappointed :-D

Good pizza but they forgot to print my order and I had to ask where my pizza was. I then had to wait another 15 minutes on top of the half hour I already waited. Totally non acceptable. The older lady didn't even apologise but the lovely young girl did. Go for the pizza, but make sure you monitor your order.<br/><br/><br/>-----05 Nov, 2014-----<br/><br/>This is the best old school pizza shop I know of. Awesome pizza and fully italian owned and operated. The pizza is actually fantastic and just right. Hawaiian is my fave. No wonder this business has been steadily growing. The pizza makers do try and con you into their pizza deals but honestly. If you want old school pizza made by Italians you need to try this.

Consistant good quality everytime. We have had one muck up with these guys (very minor) and they gave us our next pizza free which we wernt expecting. the pasta is great to.

Weekly Pizza Joint. We order from Melrose every week. The chocolate mousse is one of a kind. Pizzas are always spot on. Only complaint I have is that the Mexican pizza isn't the usual and only has salami! Our go to pizza shop.

Love the pizza and my daughter loves the pumpkin risotto yummy!!
