Got chicken Caesar Salad, poached egg on top wasn’t runny which was sad however the staff were very helpful and nice, cared about how our experience was
Great Italian restaurant with great food and a large selection and variety to chose from. I went with the 400g rump steak with veggies and diane sauce and my friend went with the gnocchi.
Overall not too bad, the only thing I can point out was that my steak whilst being cooked just how I like it (rare) was tough. Otherwise I would definately go back and to top it off the staff were friendly and helpful and the owner even made an effort to go around to everyone and speak with them. Was a great experience overall.
A casual but relaxing restaurant that our party of 7 enjoyed. I came here with relatives from overseas and they wanted Italian - pasta and pizza. Dicaprios was a place that wasn't too far from all of us.
We were certainly not disappointed with the portion size (we did all ordered Main sizes for the pasta). The cream based pastas ordered were all creamy and pasta were cooked perfectly. The only downside was the taste in that it was slightly bland but a few shakes of salt resolves the issue.
Two serves of Spaghetti Marinara were ordered. The tomato based version was only listed on the menu, but the waitress was more than happy to have one of these served in an garlic and oil based version (as per request). They both came out delicious.
A lamb and a steak main dish were presented beautifully and plentiful.
ONE Lemon and Meringue dessert was ordered but shared by 3 people as it was HUGE.
The waitress we had provided fantastic service. As she knew we were sharing some items, she had the initiative to provide things such as extra utensils, serviettes, water etc without being asked.
The decor of the place is a little dated but as a casual family restaurant, for what it offers, it is acceptable.
Price of items are reasonable for its location and food served.
I will definitely considered this place again should we be eating around the area.
Great service weather I dine in or takeaway, never been let down. Hands down best pizza, and the meals are great, menu has wide variety to choose from.
Excellent service from a waiter named Habib!!! We have been going to DiCaprios for many years but lately our meals have been coming out cold or overcooked. I decided with my family that we would no longer be returning until i explaind to the waiter my issue and he resolved it immediately. We were soo impressed with Habibs customer service that we have reconsidered returning back. He is an asset to the restaurant. Thank you once again Habib you deserve a rating of 10 stars!!!!
Consistant cheap (as in well priced) and cheerful
Good for kids? Corporates and elderly due to walker and wheelchair access.
Food great and well priced. Portions are large!
Nothing is an issue. Any request is ok
Calamari nice and tender. The Express lunch menu is amazing. Good wine list too
For Tullamarine this place rocks!

Pizzas here are always good, my fave is the americano. Sometimes you are lucky enough to score some free pizza dough rolls which are the bees knees. Friendly staff but parking can be beyond painful at times.
The best place to take family and friends for a party, bcoz most of the food taste like Home made and definitely you won't miss the taste of Italian food and a friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant with enough place to park n Drink with friends too. I recommend this place is worth a visit for sure.
DiCaprio has been my go to family restaurant for over ten years, and never have we been disappointed. A true Italian restaurant, you will be pleased by quality dishes, generous serving and lovely staff. They serve some amazing desserts and cocktails too!
Been going there for years its the cheapest place, which makes it great value for money. The food is basic but tastes nice and better than some Italians on lygon street
Great value.food always fresh, very generous,
Love this place!. My family and I have been going since I was young for birthdays, mothers/fathers day, Easter and all other sorts of occasions. The food is always great and we have never complained. The homemade lasagna, cajun chicken salad and chicken parma are my favourites. Also for dessert their homemade tiramisu and lemon meringue cakes are always a must! 10/10
Family Dinner. Surprised about the low ratings cause this place is a nice restaurant considering the good prices it offers. It may not be trendy and hip but the food is always nice and service just okay. A family dinner, not a date or a special event, but still nice enough.
I went there the other day with the Mrs for lunch and was told to dot wherever we want and they'd be with us shortly. Their setting isn't bad until you realize how hard their seats are on the bottom. When we were ready to order I saw the waitress walking around. So I called her over and she said she'll take our order in a minute. So ten minutes goes by and she finally takes our order. while we were waiting she brang some bread rolls to the table. I thought that was nice because alot of restaurants/ pubs don't do that much these days. When the food came the meals were smallish but nice, steak was cooked they way i like it and the garlic butter sauce is not a clump, its already melted with little onion flakes. The vegetables are half cooked with no seasoning. The parma my Mrs had was a little to small for the price but the cheese was real thick with an extremely thin layer of ham underneath. All in all it wasn't bad but could be better. They also have 600ml soft drink bottles that are $2.50. for Takeaway only.
Great takeaway pizza. Value for money
