Review Charlie's Pizzeria - Tullamarine

Delicious pizza and so many great ingredients to choose from. Base was cooked well and minimal crust so we got max flavour! Staff were lovely and we are looking forward to visiting again soon to grab some more pizza!

Fantastic pizzas and friendly family service. Always greeted with a smile and always get a great meal at a very fair price. You know you got it good when you can call a place like this your go-to local pizza place!

Don't let the location or the shop front fool you. This ripper little old school pizza shop is legit. Perfectly toasted bases with the right amount of quality toppings. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

Only shredded ham lovers with high salt tolerance would appreciate their meat lover pizza

Charlie's pizza is really good was supprised as is in a small shopping strip of about 6 shop's including milk Bar & video shop. Charlie himself is Verry friendly & welcoming the place is very Clean maybe a little outdated. Has EFTPOS & card payment facilities. Very reasonably priced. if you're a local of Tullamarine I would definitely give this place a try

Nice pizzas, maybe a little cool, but we had them delivered so that's to be somewhat expected. We always have the same Americana, Mexican and cheese and garlic pizza. Pizzas had a good amount of toppings without being over the top.

Had us some pizza cravings and decided to scope out the local options available who had a high rating and who delivered which Charlie's Pizzeria fit the bill. We ordered through Menulog which rated them at 4.5 stars so ordered we did having Meal Deal 1 which got us a large Capricosa & Margherita, a garlic bread a 1.25ltr soft drink for $25.0. Ordered an additional Nutella pizza too for $10.0.<br/><br/>As it was our first time ordering at Charlie's so through Menulog we got 10% off the total bill but also got slugged a $4.0 delivery charge which wasn't so bad considering other places charge between $8.0 - $12.0. After making the order, we received a text confirming we would receive our order at 5.55pm having ordered it at 5.11pm which it did if not a minute or two earlier.<br/><br/>So the verdict? Wasn't too impressed as the moment I grabbed the boxes from the delivery guy, I knew I had warm-ish pizza that had either not been stored properly in the pizza bag or that it wasn't in one to start with. Picking up a slice confirmed it and I had to reheat it - same went for the Nutella pizza and the garlic bread! Nutella pizza was a little less warmer than the pizzas. Once I heated it up though they weren't too bad.<br/><br/>A medium thickness and standard pizza shop tasting base, accompanied with a reserved amount of toppings. Some seasoning in the base and just a handful more of toppings would make it better. There's always a distinct taste when pizzas are cooked in a non-wood fired oven and is even more obvious when the base isn't kneaded well, well seasoned or cooked. Dry! We might even go as far as saying La Porchetta tastes better. Perhaps.<br/><br/>Give it a go yourselves? If you like a dry and basic pizza and maybe even warm-ish to cold pizza if you have it delivered, sure give it a go. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!
