A small hidden restaurant in a corner of a quiet unassuming street. We had this place recommended to us and so went there on our lunch break to try it. They do an excellent buffet for just $12.50! Really good and inexpensive Sri Lankan fare. Reasonably nice ambiance too. Highly recommended.
Great little traditional Sri Lankan restaurant. Family run business great value. Curries are tasty, although not very spicy. Sambols and Chutneys are absolutely delicious. The buffet on a Saturday night is great value and has so much variety. Will keep coming back.
This place is a gem. I used to come for lunch 3-4 times a week when I worked in Tullamarine but will still travel across 4 suburbs to get my Sri Lankan fix. It is authentic and great value. It’s the best Sri Lankan I’ve ever had. Love love love it!
First time to have Sri Lankan dish in this place. The location is a bit hidden from the hustle and bustle of Tullamarine, but I'm glad I found this restaurant. I can say the food took me to Sri Lanka. Though I never had taste other Sri Lankan restos, I enjoy eating here for lunch- it's kinda homey.
Very simple if clean inside, but fabulous Sri Lankan food at great prices. Not too spicy and so tasty. In my opinion the best take away in Melbourne - and I go across 3 suburbs once a week to buy this food. Just ask for the mixed dishes and enjoy.
Spicy Corner is an unassuming Sri Lankan restaurant in suburban Tullamarine. I went there late last year with a Sri Lankan friend and her family. We went for one reason - to have the traditional Sri Lankan street food, hoppers. My first time. In fact, I hadn't even heard of hoppers before this meal!
