Our favourite Indian place! We have tried so many Indian places but this will always be the best. The family who own it are lovely and always remember us when we come in. We usually order the butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, saffron rice, garlic naan and mango lassi.
FOOD IS AWESOME! Place is shabby, and may even look a little dirty. Service non-existent. But food makes up for it guys. If you're not planning to dine in, this is the place.
I am an Indian and wanted to have some indian food in another contry so i gave a visit to this place , they are quite okayish in taste but yeah liked trying them out 🤷🏻♂️♥️
Dont expect anything fancy at this indian joint. No frills but the food is amazing. The owners are really friendly and the food is good. Perfect for takeaways during lunch
Didn’t expect it but the taken away food is surprisingly good here. The look of the place didn’t look appealing at all from the outside but the sheekh kabab, rotis and the lamb rogan josh tasted quite good. Recommended
Looks can often be deceiving. The building and decor may appear old and not in keeping with modern trends but quality and flavour out way all of that. Just delicious!! Favourite is the butter chicken tikka and the Bombay pizza with riata. Rice is always nice and fluffy and naan always fresh. Its never gone wrong. Just Yum!
Don't be fooled by the look of this place like I was, tried it tonight and wow what a surprise, had lamb vindaloo, naan and rice, beautiful flavours and meat was good quality, glad I overlooked my perception based on the outside
When I have a work at Tullamarine area, always go to this shop. Ordering lunch box $10 is saving my pocket and serving happiness to my lunch.

Handy place for a take away if you're around Tulla area. Not to pleasant for a dine in, but not a bad place to have a quick lunch if you work around the area. It appears they have been serving Indian take away for over 18 yrs in this vicinity. You'll love it here if you're fond of westernised curry flavour; which I also think enjoy from time to time.
My favourite go to take away. The dinner pack is great value and filling. Vegetable curry with naarn bread and rice on a cold night what could be better. I have tried other eat in Indian but none have come close to my enjoyment of Bombay Cafe.
Excellent food. The fresh naan is delicious and cant go past the $10 lunch pack. Great flavour and very saucy. Gets very busy at lunch time so recommend getting down there before the rush
Came here a while back. Curry was great, friendly service and the best Indian rice I've had in awhile. I'm glad it exists as there is an epidemic of Indian restaurants taking shortcuts and compromising on taste. I recommend to Indian food lovers like Chantel Munoz.
Edit- second time I came here quite sadly there was little meat in the curry and the butter chicken was not up to scratch.
Best Butter Chicken. Order from this place regularly over the past 3 yearsand have NEVER been disappointed! Amazing lunch deal- comes with naan, curry, rice and a drink for $10! Best butter chicken I've ever had. BIG thumbs up to Bombay!
Butter chicken is such a staple whenever my family orders Indian takeaway. This dish was creamy and was quite sweet from tomatoes...
Quality take away. Beef vindaloo and naan are a must.

BEST Indian food I have ever had. Their Beef Madras is my favourite, but everything I have ordered has been amazing. Garlic Nann is amazing, not that soggy stuff, it's crisp golden and good amount of garlic. Staff are always friendly!
Love the food here, great portion sizes and it all tastes amazing! Just be careful with how much you order because you want so much it adds up!!

They have decent meal with reasonable price though, mainly suit for take away customers. Dine-in is not recommended for this windy city. Naan was crispy and chicken was well cooked.

Awesum lunch specials. $10 for chicken, lamb, beef or veg curry plus can plus 1 x naan and tasty..will be back..highly recommended. More a takeaway style even though there are a few tables.. you can have it there if you are on the road..5 stars.
Place is quite old. But the food was great and the owners were friendly. I'll definitely be back.
