Best place on the coast. Incredible food, drinks and the staff is so friendly. Definitely worth a visit :)
We had our birthday celebration at the Chinese restaurant last night. The food was great especially the fried rice. The staff were helpful & friendly which made the night more special. We were even able to take home the left overs without being charged for the containers !!! Then we went to watch a band called "Kuta Groove" - well . . . Mingara - you need to make them sing once a month there permanently. We (over 20 of us) enjoyed & danced the night away !!! Thank you to all the staff ( from the reception to the bar and the restaurant) you all made the night extra special for the February birthday girls !!!
Fantastic family club. Was great to catch up with friends & win a seafood platter in the raffle. Will definitely go again soon. Thank you Mingara.
I just wanted to share my experience on Saturday night..We enjoyed a great meal at the Ming Chinese Restaurant followed by a night with the band Dragon...the staff were very helpful & pleasant..We all had a great night :)
Best club on the Central Coast and probably anywhere ! Staff are always amazing, food great and a wonderful atmosphere.
If you get a chance to go to Indigo restaurant and have the twice cooked pork belly OMG it was amazing. Excellent service abd staff.
I think Mingara is a great club. SO many facilities on offer!! Friendly staff, good food, easy parking etc
First time trying out the Ming Dragon in Mingara Recreation Club at Tumbi Umbi. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu had plenty of options with all your traditional Chinese options plus more. Prices are fair for what you receive and the food was fresh, tasty and brought to our table quickly even though the restaurant was quite busy. We will definitely be back to give Ming Dragon another try.
This place is in the Mingara club. It has good yum cha - really liked the pork buns (barbecue and steamed). The mango pancakes were also good, with decent chunks of mango (a lot of places you have to play hunt the mango). It's not as big as many yum cha restaurants so it's probably worth booking ahead (they take reservations). The service was far more responsive than you get at a lot of yum cha.

Came here for a birthday dinner for two, and it was great! Didn't have to book, still managed to get a spot even though it was quite busy. Can't believe how quickly the food came out! It was delicious too, and our waitress was so friendly and lovely, and also gave us a fortune cookie each on the way out. Only lost a star because it is a little pricey - a regular special fried rice was $19 members price, which I thought was a bit steep for the serving size. Delicious food and great service though, I would come here again!
Amazing food and the service was incredible. Staff were so friendly and come around with the Yum Cha trolleys regularly. The selection of food was really good. I’ve never tried a Chinese dessert before but highly recommend the mango pancakes for something a bit different
