The hosts were friendly, funny and really knew their menu and drinks. The food was amazing and varied, authentic and plentiful. And the desserts were divine especially the Compostella Cake. Proper Spanish so good value for money.

Amazing!!! The food is exelent, the service is faster and the waiters are so kindness, the best Spanish tapas in Sydney
This place have the best Catalan and Spanish food in Sydney all the food that we tried was incredible in two words im presionante
Deliciously fresh produce, great variety of dishes and very reasonably priced.
A long haul to Turramurra, but well worth it. Charlotte.
Outstanding food, nice staff who explained the menu - really enjoyed our meal. Will go back again.
Fabulous food & atmosphere! Only downside? Not much green stuff on the menu.
Delicious food and great wines. Definitely going back.
What a gem! We went for dinner last night, and we were very surprised. This is such a friendly family run business. The food was fantastic, the people were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was great. Personalised service with a smile. We were stunned when the owner, Ramon, spoke a few sentences in Afrikaans with us. We even received complimentary muscadelle to celebrate our 3rd anniversary in Australia. Thanks for making the evening so special.
Great family proud of great food and service highly recommended
Amazing food. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Will be back for sure.
This is the best place ever , the food is sensational , the hosts are magnificent :)
Sensational flavours and great wine selection. Will be back.
Excellent food, great wines, nice atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit!
We are regularly here to enjoy the fantastic food and atmosphere, Ramon and Crista lovely hosts.
Family wines and absolutely amazing food.
The service was great and all the recommendations are worth a try. The churros and chorizo are to die for.
Delicious food, friendly environment and good service, place is small and cozy. We have enjoyed it very much. Love Spanish red wine and beers :-)
This was a nice and cozy place for dinner on a cold& wet night. I imagine with the outside area it would be super in summer. The staff were friendly and the food was good.
Amazing food and service. Dined with my husband on a Friday night, a busy and cosy atmosphere. The waitresses were delightful and informative and explained the specials as there is no longer a specials board on display. The Tempranillo house red was excellent, and we absolutely loved the pork belly and octopus/potato dish. Wouldn't bring the kids as it's such a small place and technically a wine bar. Thanks for an exceptional night Ramon and Crista!
Fabulous tapas. Service was outstanding, friendly, informative and pleasant. The food was delicious, started off with the bread, totally leaves bruschetta for dead, then smoked tuna on guacamole, taste sensation, followed by croquettes and the most amazing pork belly on Apple mousse. The Spanish wine was so nice, might have to start looking in the bottle shops. Dessert was creme Catalan which was delicious without being sickly sweet.
The food was good but the service was a little odd - way too quick, we were both struggling to keep up with the speed at which our five or six little dishes came to the table. It was disappointing - we were there for my husband's birthday and it was over in 40 minutes. We were also the only table going at the time, and the owners had friends in showing holiday pictures on a tv screen - we felt like we were intruding. The food was good so we would go again and hope for a better experience.
Tapas tapas bodega was probably the best food of my life.
Incredible service, incredible and impressive range of beverages and impeccable dishes that perfectly pleased my palette. The authentic live music to accompany the entire surreal experience was the overtly huge olive a top my somewhat pleasurably quivering tooth pick. If they had a dollar for every time we said 'this is amazing' they would have at least $10.
Beautiful food. Good service. The Prawns and octopus are delicious. All goes down well with the sangria. Will be back. Again... And again. And again.
Just great. We were very well looked after and the kids were made to feel very welcome. Food was excellent, I can highly recommend the smoked tuna.
Triumphant Tapas. We came here with high expectations, after tip-off from friends whose recommendations are highly rated, as well as knowing it had recently won "Sydney Best Tapas" award. If well-prepared delicious home-made food, lovingly prepared by passionate foodie using best quality ingredients mean anything to you, you will not be disappointed. Friendly banter with Ramon and Christine, chit chat with Ramon re the delights of Iberico Jamon (he even gave us a sample to taste....unbelievable !) and method of preparing his wonderful calamari dish topped off a great evening. We will be back with group booking for the paella soon. Desperate needed addition to what has been for too long, a culinary desert that is the Upper North Shore !
Food was awesome - loved the food cooked w passion - ahh Ramon you r the best
Yum Yum Bodacious. My wife and I have been significant food critics and this place definately deserved our review. Three letters YUM! We've grown up travelling past this area for over 30 years and this place has touched all areas of our palate. You can taste the love in the food from the first bite and the produce is very fresh and fragrant. Even our 9 year old that normally eats nothing but plain food, got in to the dishes. It goes to show that you don't need to visit a large extravagent commercial function place to get the most delicious and fullfilling meal. This place will be on our dinner list for sure. Keep up the good work, can't wait to back to those garlic prawns!
Por favor, llévame de vuelta!. I'd been meaning to come here for a while and finally a girlfriend and I went for dinner last night and it did not disappoint!
Food was beautiful. Very quick and most importantly extremely friendly service. The owners make a real effort to get out on the floor and speak to the customers, which makes it personal and comfortable. Ramon helped me practice my spanish!
The sangria was great. Next time we won't be driving and will be ordering a jug, or ten!
Looking forward to the alfresco dining they are opening outside for the summer. Will definitely be returning soon.
Great food and service. I went here last night with a friend after it was recommended to us. We thought the food was very tasty and the service was excellent. There was a great selection of Spanish wine, which went down a treat! The quail was amazing. I really appreciated the owner, who was actually Spanish, coming out to talk to all the diners.
Small and cosy with good service and good wine!
Tasty Tapas. Didn't notice this place until a couple of weeks ago despite living on the north shore and passing it hundreds of times! Went for dinner the other day and was surprised by how small it was. The service was fantastic - all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was great too. My favourite dishes were the croquettas and meatballs - if only I could've had more than one of each! I also had one of the specials (veal wrapped in jamon with cheese and fried) and the vegetable, chorizo and poached egg main. The special was a bit disappointing as the veal was quite chewy but the main was delicious. Great, cute place for catching up with friends.
Fantastic. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Smoked tuna and guacamole dish left me speechless....it was that good. Everything about this place feels right. Can't wait to go again.
Authentic Tapas!. At last I found a great tapas restaurant. Friendly atmosphere, the owners will make you feel at home and the chef Miguel will take you to Spain with the flavours.
Had as many tapas as I could try and every one of them was excellent. Will come back for more soon.
Not cheap but worth every cent.
Yummy!!. This tapas and wine bar is one of my favourite food eateries. The food I love there is the marinated anchovies which I place on the thick toasted crusty bread which is rubbed with tomato, garlic, sea salt and drizzled with olive oil - delicious. Also, the stuffed pimientoes are 'melt in the mouth'! The service is quick and friendly.
Delicious North Shore Gem!. I am a regular weekend lunchtime patron to this little gem of a Tapas bar on the North Shore. Delicious selection of dishes - I particularly recommend the sardines, meatballs, mini burgers and stuffed capsicums.
An intimate, adult gustation experience well-worth a visit ... do your taste buds a favour!
Wow. I had read some reviews and had expected a larger space but the food was great, the service attentive, the sangria delicious and we'll certainly be back. What a great find for a tapas bar that's not in Surry Hills.
Loved it! Nice to get away from typical North Shore restaurants which are flooded with young kids on a Saturday night. Delicious food! Great atmosphere for a night out without the kids!! Would definitely recommend it.
Loved the admosphere!!!!. Been to Tapas Tapas twice and loved every minute of it. This is a wine bar and we do go there to relax. I think it is reasonable to expect the admosphere at a wine bar to be nice and relaxing. Parents with small children please bear that in mind. Not everyone likes screaming kids running around wine bars. If I go to a family restaurant and come accross screaming kids I dont object, afterall it is a family restaurant. It is not cool to take them to wine bars. These places are small and unfortunately kids take up seats that are for paying patrons.
Great!. Ate here last night, wait staff were fast, attentive. Food was excellent. Might become our new local. Looking forward to visiting again.
Chill and relax. Tapas is a real find - worth a visit - or in our case a return visit.
It's a bar- not a restaurant. Bars are not restaurants and that's the appeal of this new bar that's appeared a a direct result of the changes to the licensing laws that's allowed small bars to be established all over Sydney- not enough on the upper north shore yet.
If you are expecting it to act as a restaurant, then you'll be be disappointed- and that includes those with rugrats in tow.
Its about time.... Finally, a wine bar and resturant in Turramurra that caters for us empty nesters. From the moment you enter you are taken to Spain with the smell, atmostpehere and taste. Enjoyed the whole experience with an easy walk home.
Esta comida esta delisiosa. I have been to Tapas Bodega twice in the last two weeks and can't fault it. The food is delicous. The octopus with potato, olive oil and paprika is divine. The meatballs with romesco sauce is gorgeous. The smoked tuna with ginger, lemon and guacamole is tantalising. The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable. The best eatery I have been to in Northern Sydney in my short eight months of being here. An absolute must.
Went for a birthday lunch. Really amazing flavoursome food, and friendly attentive service. Highly recommend this place, especially meatballs and cured tuna.
My wife and I are thinking of moving to the north from the inner west and just assumed this meant sacrificing great food. Well we couldn't have been more wrong, at least when comes to this amazing little tapas/wine bar.
The food was absolutely amazing!
Definitely a new favourite!. I went to Tapas Tapas Bodega for the first time last night...every part of the experience exceeded my expectations!
It started with excellent friendly service which continued throughout the evening until we'd walked out the door. The menu gave me too many options to choose from (which is a good thing as I intend going back many times), including the black-board options which are on top of their usual menu. We tried 5 different dishes and a dessert - everything tasted so fresh with perfectly balanced flavours...my mouth is starting to water just thinking about it!
Just what the upper North Shore was missing!!
Tapas Tapas Fantastic.... This new restaurant has just opened it's doors in January...and its food is fantastic.
Everything we tried was delicious (6 dishes in total) and the flavours were incredible. We had the stuffed olives and Chirizo as part of the normal tapas range - and then tried 3 of the specialty dishes - the Prawns, the Marinated Vegetables and the Mini Burgers. My favourite was the prawns - but all of the dishes were great. Finished with a great caramel flan.
To top it all off, the wine range was great and the service was really good too.
We ran into a couple that were coming back for their second night already...and I guarantee I'll be going back again myself.
What a great find. How have we missed it all these years. We love Spanish food and were not disappointed in any way. Interesting menu with more than the usual suspects but still the loved favourites, carefully prepared food, friendly and efficient service. Thank you for a great meal out despite vile weather.

After more than 3 years in Sydney, we have finally found an authentic Spanish restaurant that tastes like home! The food is amazing, maybe a bit expensive, but worth it! Don’t forget to leave some room for the deserts, 10/10
Walking by and saw they were open this morning so popped in for brekky.
The lovely staff welcomed us in, closed up the outside area to make sure we're warm and out of a very windy day.
The smell of fresh baked croissants did not disappoint.
The croissant was perfect and served with Romano style cheese and ham.
The French omelette was light and fluffy on fresh bread with a yum balsamic dressed side salad.
The anchovies on roast veg was so tasty I'm definitely craving for it again.
Coffees were good too.
Can't wait to go back and try more.
Genuine Spanish food. Big flavours. Lovely hosts. Great conversation. Absolutely fantastic local gem. Thank you Krista and Ramon!
Tasty food, friendly fast service, will definitely be going back!

Great simple food prepared meticulously with personal care from the owners. Great interaction with customers. Will come again for sure.
A real Spanish tapas in Turramura! I'm from Spain and for that, together with my partner, we decided to taste this restaurant. As we love so much seafood and fish, we ordered calamari, scallops, salmon crepe, and seafood tuffles. All plates were perfectly well cooked, very tasty and juicy. We accompanied dinner with a Inedit beer of the famous chef Ferran Adrià, which was very fruity and freshly. Taking into account not only that some products have been directly exported from Spain but also high costs of goods of the Australian market, we can say that the prices are right.
I’m from Barcelona and I can tell you this is the best Spanish restaurant in Sydney! Especial call out to their croquetas, octopus and deserts 😋
