Highly recommend The Cook's Garden! The environment and food are fantastic, and the staff are all lovely. Had a fantastic experience on a busy Saturday night.
For a lazy Sunday afternoon such a great place for some live music, great drinks and great food ! Can't believe
Best meal I've had in ages!!! Would highly recommend the Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin.
Top notch everytime. Menu changes that are always the best. Pretty little courtyard for warmer nights and wait staff who know their wine list back to front, what more could you want?
Great little local find. Great atmosphere and what better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Some great music and drinks. My only comment would be to add more yummy salads to your menu. Something fresh to counter all those burgers and fries would be great.
Excellent food....best steak ever! Great service. Everything was the best.
The food, service and ambience were all very good. We had a lovely dinner for two Saturday night and I can see why it’s busy, we will be going again very soon.
We had breakfast here recently with friends. The menu was very imaginative and the food well presented and delicious. Service was friendly.
Really like the new menu especially the hot chicken wings and the grilled prawns - very nice
Great local eatery good service and great food
Been eating here for many years & the food just gets better & better. Highly recommend it for both lunch & dinner.
Wonderful ambience with fabulous food served by happy and helpful staff
The service here is top notch! The grass fed beef tenderloin was perfect! If you're after somewhere special I would highly recommend diner at the cooks garden.
The Cook’s Garden was another Good Food Guide recommendation that proved to be an excellent spot for brunch in North Turramurra. The garden setting is lovely and there’s plenty of space. Breakfast is served until 11am and I loved the Vanilla bean yoghurt panna cotta, organic granola, blackberry compote $12
As the boy and I ventured north for a double date, we were quite excited to finally dine at Cook’s Garden as it had been on our ‘to-eat’ list for some time. The boy was equally excited about the fact that as a Citibank card holder, they were running a deal for a free bottle of wine if you paid with the card (which turned out tonight to be a crowd pleasing First Creek Chardonnay; slightly fruity and not too dry to the palate; ps. this post is not endorsed by Citibank).
I opted for something a little more filling and unusual – a “kedgeree”. I’d never heard of it before, but it was essentially a Indian-style rice spiced with lots of cumin and paprika, and topped with some lightly sauteed tomato and a soft poached egg with a gooey yolk. It was quite a visually spectacular dish, with the stark white of the poached egg really standing out against the vibrant greens, reds and yellows of the dish. The flavours matched up to the visuals as well, with the ooze of the egg yolk really lifting the flavours and textures of the spiced rice. All in all, The Cooks Garden is a great place to stop in for a simple, reasonably priced brunch. It’s a little harder to get to, but it’s certainly popular with the locals who simply walk up to the Bobbin Head Road shops with their dogs on a leash and take over all the outdoor seating. I’d certainly be interested in returning to the Cooks Garden for a lunch or dinner instead, to try a slightly more elaborate dish.
Gem of a restaurant in the suburbs.. First time at The Cook's Garden tonight and we both really enjoyed it - lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Good, reliable service too. Bonus is that there's a great area to have a drink while waiting for your table. Not a cheap night out but we'll definitely be back.
Impromptu booking on a Saturday night. Awesome food, Great service. Will be back
Excellent lunch. Excellent lunch to be in.. :))
Really nice environment with a little garden at the back. Nice food with reasonable price. But one of the waitress is very lazy, reluctant to serve customers.
Beautiful setting and amazing food, always enjoy going there whether it's for breakfast or lunch! Even have a little gift shop at the register. Highly recommended
A lovely surprise. A brilliant little sleeper in the suburbs. Great food of a wonderful standard, great menu and service. I can't wait to go again.
