Review Be Thai - Tweed Heads

Excellent food in a friendly, casual atmosphere. Steamed rice comes in individual serves with your meal and at first I thought that was a weird concept but it totally works and there's no wastage. Also possibly the best Massaman I've ever had.

Brought takeaway from Be Thai tonight for the first and last time! Within two hours of eating I have had all the signs and symptoms of food poisoning. Not impressed. The woman that served us also tried to charge $10 more than the meals were, my partner had to help her add up and correct her mistake. All in all, worst meal and experience in awhile.

Had lunch here with a friend and it was very average...Decor wasn't given any priority. It looked quite neglected inside and the large glass front window was in desperate need of a good clean. We won't be back.

Beautiful food, very fresh. Lovely service. Highly recommended Thai for dinner. Very reasonable price and you do NOT leave hungry. Really nice atmosphere. Will visit again. Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Good flavor, generous portion, run by authentic Thai ladies. We had fish cake, BBQ chicken, and chili basil fried rice. Very happy with the food. We also saw dishes coming out for other tables, everything looks amazing. Highly recommend this little cozy place

It's low key with a very basic setup but don't let that put you off because the food is SUPERB, TASTY and GENEROUS.

Had the chilli basil stir fry lunch special. No taste of chilli or basil. Maybe they gave me oyster sauce by mistake

Good quality food, but long wait (45 mins for a rice paper roll entrรฉe) but it seems like they were just extremely busy on this particular night. The staff were friendly and attentive, but It would have been nice to know the waiting time before being seated. Seems to be very popular with both locals and tourists, and especially busy with take-away orders.

The Gold Coast finally gets a restaurants that is really good.

We are regulars from Melbourne and we always struggle to find decent restaurants and finally we found one!!!!

Itโ€™s really straight forward, authentic and delicious food in a very simple setting, but boy have they got the flavours right.

Wonderful food , good service and a great bunch of people churning out food with a smile Interestingly when I went with my dad we met 3 other tables of locals so this is one the Goldieโ€™s best kept secrets.

Itโ€™s busy, make sure you book at weekends.

Just a shame it will be 3 months before I can get back

Authentic Thai food!

We chose to eat at this little restaurant out of the many other Thai options in Tweed Heads and Coolangatta because the staff were Thai and very friendly. We ordered a tom yum prawn soup, papaya salad and a chicken chilli basil stir fry. As usual, we asked for Thai hot with less sugar and the food was delicious - authentic Thai flavours. The food was very reasonably priced and they offered BYO which was a bonus!! This is highly recommended!
