Review Harbour Fresh - Tweed Heads

If you love seafood (oyster to be specific), you have to try Oyster Natural and Oyster Kilpatrick. The Crab Ravioli is just amazingly tasty. As well as prawn schnitzel which can't be missed. All served in a light warm happy ambience by happy staff who smile to you, and know their menu. And they know how to make proper 'Amaretto Sour''.

Food was absolutely delicious & staff were lovely. Was so much cheaper than expected. Thank you for making my mum’s birthday lunch so special.

My partner and myself had dinner at Harbour Fresh for the first time last night. Our meals (battered barramundi, wagu steak and seafood chowder for entree) were delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the wait staff are exemplary. We went out to harbour fresh for our date night as we have eaten here before and we were impressed last time. This time round we were extremely disappointed. Loved the prawn schnitzel but that was all that was good, got the Thai green curry prawns and the sauce was split and looked horrible, I had to send it back as there is never a good excuse for sending split sauce out or sub par food in an expensive restaurant. The waitress was embarrassed and gave us a free drink which we appreciated although both of our mains was extremely ordinary and after paying $150 we were left wondering if any restaurants stay at the same standards. My prawn main was dry tasteless prawns with a container of melted butter. So in summary we were left extremely disappointed and we won’t be back. We wished for better.

Staff was very good and the best part of this place. We Purchased the seafood platter for $102 and it was very disappointing, very salty and it was all cooked on the same plate, so unfortunately it all tasted the same. It was also over cooked. The crab was not even an Australian crab. We are traveling around Australia and I would not recommend this place! Booking 18:00 on the 3/11/18.

My goodness. What a gorgeous meal. I didn't have a reservation and it was a Wednesday night but that was no problem We had excellent service, complimentary sparkling water, bread and butter to start. I chose the mussel entree which was enough for a filling meal. The tomato based sauce along with an entire bowl of mussel with chorizo and a piece of bread to dunk was pure goodness. Then came our mains for which we chose the 8 prawns and sides. I had the lemon and herb sauce and the pear rocket and parmesan salad and I loved every bite. The price was competitive based on the quality of the food and the size if the serving. I am definitely impressed and would suggest anyone who loves a seafood meal to try Harbour Fresh at Twin towns.
