Review Happy Kitchen - Tweed Heads

Been going to Tweed Heads Chinese for 30 years now with mixed results so tried Happy Kitchen. Food 30%-50% cheaper and quality is superb. UPDATE these people never answer their phone for orders.. one minute the phone is engaged.. the next it is ringing out 6 times in a row. Too unreliable for me won't be going back.

I live just 5 minutes away , yet I never seem to get through to there phone line to make an order , or I’m hung up on ! The food is good but the service really needs attention! Not happy jan ! Lucky I have 2 stars 🌟 instead of one ! Because I can’t get through I always order from somewhere else ! I just want Chinese food ! Next I will ring North Korea , probably more prompt 🤣

Waited till 5pm to order takeaway, phone was engaged for 10 minutes or more, so I drove to the store, prepared to wait and it was closed. Needs to be removed from the platform.

Special fried rice, not so special with only processed bacon cubes and egg. Boiled meat servings and bland flavous

I’m not normally one to leave reviews on restaurants/takeaways but the food was absolutely disgusting. No flavour, full of oil and the Mongolian beef looked like it came out of a can 🤮

Decided to try the food again. Wasn't very happy. Special fried rice wasn't special compared to other places. Food was salty. Won't be going back.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Lemon chicken was not crispy. Prawn crackers were stale. Mongolian beef had no taste and the fried rice was rice with a little colour. No peas, little prawns, ham, eggs. Very disappointed. When I rang them very politely, they said there is nothing they could do. Most of it went in the bin.

Great food with a vast variety of Chinese meals on the menu. My family has been frequenting this take away outlet for many years. I enjoy the exceptional customer service with the chefs always going the extra mile to ensure our children are satisfied. By giving our children a free lollipop on every visit has ensured we have never looked elsewhere for our Chinese takeaway. If I could give this six stars I would.
