Review Aqua Lounge + Bar - Twin Waters

Went to Aqua for NYE. As a resident at Sebel we expected AQUA to be packed so we were pleasantly surprised, that whilst crowded, everything was flowing smoothly. Meals were great quality, and well priced and a 40 minute wait was only as expected and flew past due to the great entertainment provided. Staff are always very helpful and cheery so could no fault them. Just one criticism - boo - if you at Ed going to link fireworks to music - make sure sound system is loud enough to hear music. Loved the night and will be making this place a regular.

Chose the 'vegan dish of the day' which was vegetable ragu with rice. The avocado was hard, the eggplant was undercooked, the sauce was bland - this dish was practically inedible, and yet incredibly overpriced. The vegetarian and vegan options seem to be a complete afterthought with no care put into them. One of the very few (2 or 3) places to eat at this resort, which is a real discredit to Novotel.

Wish I could give this place a 0 rating. Our food came without any sauce with the steak and it was soo over cooked and both meals were ice cold. Disgusting service and food. Extremely disappointed.

Love coming here annually. This year the bar staff were a huge let down. It's the little things like serving your customers not ignoring them! Maybe throw in a smile :)

Terrible... avoid!!! Overpriced takeaway food, done badly... literally the worst burger I've ever tasted . (And I've had some shockers..!)

Superbly fresh Little Creatures pale ale off the tap.

Top class staff - very friendly helpful and honest hence the rating. The food was so bad - there were 12 of us who ordered so many dishes on the table and not one met the mark. Even the fkn fries and wings were crap.

Paying for food here is daylight robbery. I ordered the wagyu steak with mushroom gravy and my partner ordered the spicey chicken wings with cheese sauce. This had to be the worst meal I have had ever especially at a price of $38 for 250g what they call 'wagyu' and only 3 chicken wings for $18. Even the salads were terrible lacking flavour and any appeal, also it came on a separate plate. The 'wagyu' had more fat on outside than inside it almost appeared like a tenderloin. The chips were soft and the gravy was slop from a can lacking any mushroom and served in a puny cup that ran out halfway through my steak, at least the steak was close to medium rare which I asked for. The chicken wings still had some feathers on them and they didnt coat them with anything other than a small shake of the spice jar. Don't call it spicy on the menu if all you do is put very mild seasoning on a third of a wing and give me mild spicey dipping sauce with a cheese sauce that looks and tastes more like sour cream...this is indeed very lazy and I don't normally review restaurants but this has been so poor i feel i have to warn others. I can tell from the food that either management or the chefs hate their jobs and don't care. My advice...either serve food worth the asking price or stick to a drinks bar only. The only reason I gave even a 1 is because the staff were friendly and i could not fault their efforts.

Staying at the resort with kids we thought we would try Aqua. I agree with other reviewers that it is unclear whether it is a place kids should be at. It works ok as a take away (grabit & go - serves similar food to Aqua). The food was average pub food, burgers, parma, fish & chips, pizza), but we were thankful to have somewhere to eat at resort without leaving it. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Priceless setting to have a meal pool side lagoon side views nice place to eat n drink the topping on the pizza was nice good mix of veg n seafood little on the salty side but the base was sloppy and made the topping fall off and the pizza wasn't even cut I had to cut it myself and $32 for a seafood pizza was a bit much but it's a resort in the end

The place seems nice on arrival. Nice lighting and ambience nice view out on the water, typical pub appearance with music and talking loud people. So we sit down on night one and order 2 burgers. Both come out raw and I mean RED and bleeding. We complain get two freshies which were good. Night 2 we give them. Second chance. We order four burgers. Guess what. Raw all of them. They say we will get refunded for all four but then they changed it to three. Laughable. A crap place with rude and arrogant staff and terrible chefs. Don't even come here.

It's a bar. Smells like a bar. Looks like a bar. Sells bar stuff. So why oh why ate children allowed to screech and jump all over the bar without any consideration of the paying bar patrons. If I wanted a family restaurant I would have gone to one. I wanted a bar. I got screaming children.

Great Location. When the foods good, its good......
Love the indoor outdoor feel, and the beers always cold...

Good for kids when you eat outside, overlooking the pool is ideal..
