We found the road to uki still hasn't been repaired from our floods, so it was a slow drive.
However the pub was busy as usual and I find a booking essential at this venue as they have a lot of drive through traffic plus locals.
Food was tasty and well presented,

If you plan on bringing a dog be prepared to sit amongst the smokers and shoved in the far corner away from everything. Terrible experience. Over cooked calamari & chips. No salt or pepper. Burger drowned in sauce & mayonnaise. Side salad drowned in mayonnaise & wasn't ordered.
The team at Mount Warning Hotel are absolutely amazing, i had my wedding reception there and they were so helpful!
The ceremony ran late meaning we would get there just before the kitchen closed but they held it open for us and our guests.

We really like this pub, its a nice ride on the bikes, good day out. If you want to have lunch its best to book ahead.
