Review Native. - Ulladulla

The food at Native is tasty, and well made. It is one of the best cafes on Ulladulla. On top of the good food, Native offers a great view of the harbour. It is great place for brekky or brunch. There public toiIets nearby also. I definitely recommend Native Cafe.

Very nice food, but quite expensive for what it is! Also, the iced coffee isn't iced coffee - very weak and watery... Nice view though, and the staff were pleasant.

Big breakfast ($27) and a Spanish omelette ($24) both tastes good but definitely wouldn’t say they tasted $27 good… Long black was good but the “mocha” just tastes like warm milk with chocolate on top. I loved the old menu but not the biggest fan of the new one

Native used to be the best place to go for healthy, fresh food, amazing salads and Vegan options. What happened? Bacon and burgers now prevail, no vegan option and could that possibly be canned spaghetti in my Minestrone? Surely not but definitely tasted like it🤔😡 Native! Come back!

Amazing food and relaxed spot with water views. Enjoyed the fritters and nourish plate - just totally delicious along with a high quality banana smoothie. Highly recommend this place on a Monday, as we went at lunchtime and got a great spot to sit - table 7. Good choice for vegetarians and cute sparrows.

Spying Native Cafe right next door to The Ruse, we decided to take in breakfast on the balcony, and get a daylight dose of those picturesque Ulladulla Harbour views. With most tables arranged along the balcony, their system sees you choose any table you like. Taking careful note of your table number, you place your order (and pay) at the counter. If my visit is anything to go by, your drinks and food will be delivered to your table pretty darn quick, so it’s perfect for those keen to get back on the highway. Their chosen Will & Co Coffee has a smoky, almost gunpowder edge in the foam on a strong flat white ($4.50) that makes it very enjoyable to drink. There’s more bitterness in a strong cappuccino ($4.50) moderated by half of it being dusted in chocolate. Both are well executed. Customisable “googs on toast” ($12) can be supplemented by a range of proteins, like spicy pulled pork ($6). It’s not the spiciest pork, but in combination with their chipotle relish ($4) it’s a winner. The scrambled eggs, made with golden-yolked fresh eggs, arrive with an intact protein net that makes them a pleasure to eat. I can’t quite say that about the “bacon and egger” ($16) that, in a soft sourdough roll, is so big it has become impractical to eat as the burger-style dish it was intended to be. That said, the flavours are good, with the Swiss cheese, baby spinach and chipotle relish all adding something to the usual bacon and egg roll equation. You certainly won’t rejoin the highway hungry.
