Great little find in the heart of Umina. Our table shared a few dishes and enjoyed them all. A few favourites included the chicken karage, veg gyoza and mixed tempura plate and fresh sushi rolls.
A good drinks menu of both local and traditional options. The Japanese plum wine was sweet and tasty.
Recommend booking, even on weeknights as it gets quite busy.
Hard to find quality japanese on the coast that also has great veggie options. The udon soup, veggie tempura and veggie gyoza are all amazing. Prices are decent too, one of my fav restaurants for an easy but delicious dinner :)
Had a lovely lunch today. My mother in law is celiac and they had a whole gluten free menu for her to choose from which was great. The meals were fresh and delicious and a great price. Will be back when we are next in the area.
This is a Must Try restaurant. The food here is absolutely delectable. Their Curry Rice w/ chicken katsu and entire Cooked Roll selection is impeccable. The staff is amazing and they give the place a real family feel. Will be coming back here again and again. 10/10.
Best Japanese on the coast! 🍱 You can tell how fresh every single thing is, even the tofu! They also sell fresh steamed edamame which is so yum!
Sushi always fresh, friendly staff. Best sushi I have found on the coast. Also like the plum wine, and the seafood soba us excellent.
