Got take away on way home from a day out. Big sizes and tasty food! Love the crispy garlic beef! Will return. The staff were super friendly and happy

With 30 tables already seated before we arrived we thought we were in for a long night. How wrong we were. Staff were efficient from taking orders through to staggeriung the dishes so they did not all arrive at once. The food was as authentic wenstern Chinese as you could want. Spring rolls and San Chow Bow to start was delighful . For the mains the Cantonese sizzling beef was tender and to die for and the Chilli Chicken and Specia.l Fried Rice was lovely. A greta overall experience. We willbe back!
The roast duck was excellent. One of the best.The mapo tofu was good. Great service. Water was always topped up. Will be back for more. Parking was a little difficult given the location.
Very very nice roasted duck & different cooking style of oysters...Food over there were outstanding with good service..its very typical chinese food which makes me think of my hometown😊 Highly recommended those who looks for traditional chinese food.
We went for the Saturday night before Chinese New Year and had a really nice time. The food was amazing - roast duck, beans with duck and mushroom and crispy fried barramundi. Three meals were enough for the four of us. They then had a Lion Dance at 8.15pm which was a lot of fun.
Absolutely delicious food! Service with a smile! A wonderful dining experience. Every plate we ordered we wanted to lick clean! The long beans in soy sauce is a must have side! Yum!!!
First time coming here and definitely coming back again. The food here is great and no doubt the service. Had the roast duck as they ran out of chicken and it was fantastic (crispy skin and moist inside). Will be back to try the chicken and peking duck next.

Siam Thai bistro on Unley Road has been replaced by a new Chinese restaurant called 'Yue Chinese Restaurant'. There hasn't been a lot of advertisement for this restaurant and it was only by chance that I drove past Unley Road to discover that it existed. The moment we walked into the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly owner. The menu consists of the dishes that you would normally see at a typical Chinese restaurant. In my personal opinion, there are probably only a handful of good Chinese restaurants in Adelaide. Yue Chinese restaurant has been added to my list today.
Had an excellent dining experience at Yue. All the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.
Too good to be true!. We recently moved to Unley and have been checking out some local restaurants. Yue Chinese was one of the first places we tried and we have had it many more times since. The first meal I tried was sizzling seafood combination which was just made for me I think because it had everything in it I loved and nothing I didn't. My partner had the steak and black bean. I have never been a fan of that dish. It is always too salty. Well not at Yue. It has the most amazing marinade and is oh so tender. Next time I tried the Mongolian Lamb. It is on the sweet side but not too sweet and is beautifully tender as well. We have been just as impressed with their host Yan as we have been with the food. Yan is charismatic, friendly and just lovely. We highly recommend Yue Chinese to all!
Another gem for Unley. Yue is a new Chinese restaurant on Unley Rd and it's absolutely fantastic. The front of house waitress Yan Pui ( married to the chef) is simply delightful - friendly, accommodating and yet efficiently professional when she needs to be - she can be a lot of fun when she has a toddler to entertain! The menu is extensive and we haven't tried a lot of things yet, but those we have were excellent. The salt crusted spicy pumpkin and eggplant is superb, the squid starter is tender, the szechuan prawns are as hot and tasty as they should be and the Peking Duck is very very good.We'll be going back for sure.
And we have been back - this time to try the whitebait - hot and crispy - and the shredded dick with beans and Chinese mushrooms - it is superb! This restaurant deserves a 5 rating absolutely.
Food danced on my taste bubs. Impressed with the food and service provided. Food was so yummy which I really enjoyed every spoonful. Staff were professional and friendly. Will visit again in very short time.
What more can you expect?. I have been to this restaurant a few times now ( for lunch and dinner). Did take a few photos and will upload them later. Anyways, the food was amazing!!! Service was exceptional. Food came out in a timely manner despite the place was packed with people. One thing to comment was i can't believe they only charged us $9.99 ( lunch special) for a serve seafood crispy noodles, which i thought it was a great value ( see attached photo). Will definitely visit again for lunch and dinner!
Excellent food and very good service. Nicely located on Unley Road with cosy setting. Don't forget to try some of their specialty such as the "eight treasure duck" and "steamed oysters with XO sauce". Apart from their good food they also make very high quality coffee with their decent coffee machine. Highly recommended.
Been there twice, amazing addition to Unley road, blown away by food and service, reasonably priced.

Wow, what a debut meal in the first fortnight of Yue's being open. Impeccable service from Yan (spelling?) and some of the most incredibly delicious genuine Cantonese cuisine I've ever tasted. My wife and i were both happy, the kids were thrilled with the bonus special dessert, what more could one ask for?
Best (handmade) shallot pancakes, delicious crisp salt and pepper flounder, sesame squid a refreshing change from the usual s and p squid. We'll be back, all they could do to improve is have more Rieslings/aromatic varieties by the glass! New favourite Chinese.
The coffee has a sweet aroma and was made exceptionally well- a perfect drink to start the day. The service was excellent, the waitresses/waiter was polite, well-mannered and lighthearted, creating a calming atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The decor is simple and the music helps to further that calming atmosphere.
The food is exquisite. It tastes authentic and though the appearance is a bit bland, the explosion of flavours makes up for it. My favourite entree is the shallot pancake and it tastes far better than all the ones I've had before. I couldn't possibly decide on a favourite main however I would recommend the crispy garlic beef.
There is a large selection of wine which helps enhance the flavour. As it says on the menu, each wine has been selected carefully to mingle with the flavours of the meal.
I enjoyed my stay throughly and will definitely be coming back to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant and I hope you'll get the same level of satisfaction that I did.
Nice cantonese food. Braised Beef claypot was really good. Duck was nice too. Very friendly staff and very comfortable environment. Will definitely visit again.

Quite liked it, Maybe a bit pricey for chinese but the quality was good, quantity ample, and had some real kick to it (some actual flavour! Well I never!). Staff were friendly too. It had plenty of room for big groups.
The service.. incredible. The people their always served with a positive energy and kept up genuine smiles throughout the whole night. They routinely refilled drinks, and were regularly present, ready and quick to tend to our requests. They gave a very cheerful goodbye to us also.
The food was very great and I was presented with tastes that had their own identity different from regular familiar tastes from other restaurants.

Clean, spacious and decent service. Food is cooked fresh and quite delicious. Specials of the day are slightly more unique and always yummy. Peking duck is delightful here. The dessert choices are also interesting and not just the classic run of the mill stuff you could find anywhere. A place you would be happy to come back to for tasty cooking that doesn't disappoint!
I recently had a birthday dinner at Yue Chinese. The food was fantastic. We had a banquet for 8 people. There was a generous amount of food, it was served at a good pace and it was delicious. The service was also great, our waitress was very attentive and happy to facilitate the birthday cake we had bought in. Highly recommended! PS their crispy beef is amazing!
