Review Tap Works Coomera - Upper Coomera

Great Location, Fit out is nice, all the stainless steel pipes and graffiti...pretty cool but felt a little lifeless :S (Friday Lunch maybe quite time before busy period?) Prices seemed a little steep (ginger beer) and food wasn’t amazing (pie) but will come again because I like beer and food but being a bar and grill expected a bit more life. Cool that they have a Bottle shop down stairs (to purchase boutique Drinks) and not so cool that there is a surcharge if you want to try those special drinks upstairs at the bar and grill.

My husband brought me here for lunch on our Anniversary. The staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly. We felt like something different and had 3 small bites $28. All tasted amazing. Duck spring rolls, baked camebert cheese and sweet potato chips. We were so full. A few taste tests and we left with a big glass jug called a growler I believe. Well this blew my husbands mind. Not being a typical beer fan the staff produced artisian berry beers that he definitely liked. The price difference is huge and let's face it a large brown bottle looks pretty cool and its recycling so up and up. Straight from the tap. Since then he has been back a few times returning with a label that tells you the alcohol content, flavor and brand. This place is really cool. A great adults lunch or dinner. We plan on getting a few growlers of different flavors all locally made for entertaining our over seas Christmas family. Cheers lads!

The staff was on to it.The menu,so many to choose from,so just took pictures of what we ordered.The food was tasty,coleslaw on the night smelt vineger'ish.Other then that,it was yummy.Price was also good.

Loved the 3 small bites, great value, baked Camembert and duck spring rolls are amazing! So many cocktails to choose from, fairy floss and hubba bubba were delicious, can’t wait to go back and try some more!

Credit to the girls as the service was very good. Kind and bubbly staff. Unfortunately the food didn't match the experience. Overpriced and average quality. The Brioche bun and pulled pork were really dry and I ended up not eating the burger. As for the sides ordered there was no where near enough food for the pricing. The portioning just didn't make sense. I would have given 3 or even 4 stars if I didnt see that the business owner was taking offence and trying to manipulate the reviews in his favour and on top of that not taking the reviews as constructive criticism for the business. I hope my review is understood and accepted from a objective standpoint, however I'm not hopeful judging by previous reviews and seemingly no change in price or portions... I will be back in a few months or so and will review the rating upon my next experience!

I saw that this place had some pretty negative reviews so I thought I would share my positive experience so that others aren't put off coming here. We made a booking here for dinner for 9 people. Everybody enjoyed their food (we even had trouble selecting because there are so many great options on the menu), the staff were very attentive and we got a lovely spot out on the balcony. The food took a little while but that was understandable considering how many meals we ordered. I'd definitely come here again.

Unfortunately we came for lunch, partner was starving thinking that being beer and food you’d get decent feed... over priced small portions.i got the American burger, it was small 😢 Great that kids meals are free but we got snitzel for Dad and child.. basically same size but Dad got salad🙄 told after meal came no gravy, but offered Dianne, mushroom or pepper gravy🤷🏻‍♀️ Had to wait for this, not told prior to serving, Got the pepper had no taste except pepper corn. Atmosphere lacking... wish I read the genuine reviews as we wouldn’t have wasted money! Yes my partner ate his meal as he was starving but would definitely not return!

Love this place! We have been twice now and both times have had great experiences. We had a table for six and tried all of the tappas, every one was delicious! Drinks were great and the staff were happy and cheerful .
