I enjoyed everything i ate, delicious bombay street food in Brisbane! I am looking forward to try new dishes.
Great range of Indian veg from South Indian to a Mumbai vibe. Very clean and family friendly. My recommendations are the Vada Pav, Pav Baji, Samosa, Thali and Dosa. Great place. very reasonable.
Food is consistently good. Short wait times. Pani puri and samosas are the best here. Great ambiance. Especially like sitting in the raised hut section.
We meant to visit Su Life @ the Palmdale shopping centre last night for vegetarian dinner. Unfortunately, it has been permanently closed so we made a fast return of this eatery just within 2 weeks. This time we arrived very early at 5:45pm so there were not many diners there that gave me the opportunity to take more photo of the interior deco of this restaurant. I remember there is one hot item that nearly presents on every table and I asked the staff last time to show me which one on the menu - yes - that is the Chole Bhature. Indeed, the Chole is spicy Chickpeas and the Bhature is made from plain flour but it presents in a characteristic balloon shape. We just ordered one and the texture of the Bhature is fantastic, particularly when we tore a small piece and mixed it with the Chole. The other dish of Schzwan Vegetable Cheese Dosa was not bad but I still prefer the plain dosa presented in a cone shape that delivers more fun.

Second visit to this busy Indian eatery and glad to see its extension of Indian glossary shop at the same shopping centre. Once I entered the restaurant, I can feel the Indian vibe because over 95% diners are Indian and looks like we are the only table occupied by a pair of Chinese (feels very proud to joint the club). Despite my knowledge of Indian food is still limited, we are able to read the menu with self-explained photographs. Ordered the Cheese Masala Dosa and the Thali with options of three dipping: Malai Kofta, Panccr Butter Masala and Potato Curry with drinks of Mang Lassi & Masala Tea. Although we were told that meal would take around 20 minutes but we only waited for 12 minutes then the food & beverage were all on the table. I just love such kind of Indian Street Food very much. They are the perfect choices for my vegetarian day. Different dips have their own character. Not very spicy but hot enough for my palate. Mango Lassi is refreshing and the Masala tea is different from the one that I had at the King vegan & vegetarian at Mt Gravatt but I love it too. I urge foodies should give it a go, this is really a local gem.

Had dinner at this busy restaurant last night. Wow! I did not realise that it was so popular to the Indian population, there were near all of the diners are Indian. That made me very excited because it meant that I found an authentic place to taste the Indian Street Food. While I was reading the menu, my gaze browse around and found that the set-up was very characteristic. Self service for orders and prepare your own cutleries reflects the atmosphere of street-food style. Honestly, I am not familiar with this type of street-food and ordered by referring to the picture on the menu. We ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa, Thali and a Mango Lassi. Service is very good and friendly. Food and beverage came to the table very quick. Our Dosa was wrapped with some diced potatoes and followed with spicy red chutney. I loved the Dosa, it is so crispy and very nice with the dip from the chutney. Degree of spiciness was just pot-on. The large plate of Thali was spectacular. I love to dip the roti alternatively with the two curries on the plate. Just let you know, the mango lassi was the best that I had in other Indian restaurants that I had in the past. Overall, I am very excited to find this place and highly recommend you to give it a go.

I recently visited this place coz of friend’s recommendation and this has become one of my most favourite Indian restaurants outside india. We went there twice during our recent visit to Brisbane and tried many different dishes on their menu and not a single dish disappointed us. Must have dishes-Pav bhaji, vada pav and aaloo paratha.
Good variety of food and service is usually good too. Can get busy but they still serve fast enough. Nice flavoursome food in all different cuisines!
Pani Puri and dosa are delicious. The cheese pulao was a bit too rich that we couldn't finish it in one sitting and had to takeaway the remaining. Overall it was a good dining experience.
Oh man! We had a masala dosa, a Manchurian noodle, a samosa chaat and a chole puri, and they all were flavoursome. With the fast service, affordable prices and authentic flavours, no doubt why Indians were so crazy about this place. The interior decors were cool too. Having a big and clear menu board where customers could easily see it and printing extra menus for customers would be a better idea since it was a counter service. (We were asked to return menus while we were at our table and making decisions).
A fantastic food experience. The cheese and coriander dosa was delicious. Pani Puri was beautiful and very fresh and we also had the Thali which had 3 fantastic curries which were all vegetarian and extremely tasty. Ambience was good but the staff weren't particularly attentive but it's really all about the food. Highly recommend a visit.
A good family friendly place. If you are ordering 3 dishes during the evening hours you need to give 20 min to serve. Chat is yummy, I cannot rate it 4.0 due to serving time delay.

The place is overall ok. I went there for a b'day party.. we a lot of dishes...the taste was fine...the place was crowded so the service was quite slow rest everything was fine..you can try chole bhature, cheeky shake, mango lassi and dosa..
All I have to say about this café is a simple WOW! Just loved it! Took me back to the streets of Delhi when I first sampled street food & have craved it ever since. Those Dosa were bang on & literally filled the plate. My friend ordered the potato dosa & I had the Schwan mixed veg. Loved the sambhar had great heat going on, coconut chutney was light & fresh & the prices were not over the top. Oh & loved the wall art
Excellent. Having travelled around India I can tell you it is absolutely authentic. Try the vego thali. The place was full of Indians which is a GREAT sign.
Continuing my dosa theme and Mrs Kan Do's chaat theme, we did dinner at Gol Gappa.
Gol Gappa is a new enterprise by the people who run Mirchh Masala in Woolloongabba, with some fantastic rustic Indian street style decor.
We ordered a pav bhaji, masala dosa, bhel puri, followed by a 'manchurian hakka noodles' and a mango lassi.
The pav bhaji was similar to the one in Mirchh Masala, with a comparable flavour for the bhaji with a better texture and the same style hamburger bun lightly toasted with butter. This rated a 3.5 to 4.
The masala dosa was quite good. The dosa batter was spread a smidge thicker than it should be resulting in a slightly bready texture but that is nitpicking. The batter itself was fermented as it should be and had that familiar slightly sour flavour and the potato masala mash was okay (a little dry and not as tasty as the South Indian version). The coconut chutney and sambhar (veg lentil stew) was quite good, while the dahi (yoghurt) accompaniment was not really suitable for the dish but was okay. Overall it rated a 3.5.
The bhel puri was disappointing. The fried lentil mixture (bhel) was not fresh. However, they did provide a large quantity - it was the size of a main! (Chaat is not usually a main course). This dish rated a 2.5.
The mango lassi was excellent and rated a 4.
The 'manchurian hakka noodles' were pretty poor as I anticipated it might be. This was not the gloriously inauthentic flavoursome Indian Chinese food that I am familiar with. I should not expect a chaat place to serve decent food of this variety, so this falls into the 'swift kick up the pants for Kan Do for ordering stuff he shouldn't order at the wrong place' category. I give myself a 1 for my ordering abilities on this. On the basis of this dish I recommend steering well clear of Indian Chinese food here.
Nevertheless, we had an excellent dinner experience here with most of the dishes being tasty and flavoursome and friendly service.
I recommend this place if you fancy some chaat or a decent masala dosa.
Good interiors, good indian street food, one happy girl friend.
Ordered golgappa and dirty Chinese was worth the money. Try Chiku milk shake too.
