Quite a nice little cafe. They serve Merlo coffee and fresh, leaf tea as one would hope. The pancakes were light, fluffy and drowning in maple syrup and ice cream. I wasn't expecting much , but this place was very pleasant.

I really want to like this cafe but it's far too expensive for a small local cafe. A coffee and cake serving costs between $10-$15 and the cake portions are really tiny. Considering the amount of elderly in the area, I think a really good coffee and cake deal is needed here. The coffee is ok - probably one of the best in the area (there isn't a lot of competition though). The food is basic but tasty.

I've been to this shopping centre cafe numerous times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food. The crispy thick cut chips with aioli are perfect. The chicken and avocado on Turkish is always tasty with some yummy sauces. And with various Mediterranean inspired sweet options you can't go wrong for desert either. And the coffee is always good too.

Had a flat white and a skinny iced chocolate during a meeting with community manager of Zomato. Coffee was okay but not great, decent aroma and made efficiently. Iced chocolate was average as it didn't have that strong chocolate taste. Quiet little place great for a small chat or catchup.

Nice Sandwiches. No fuss fresh sandwiches for lunch. Not trying to be something that it's not. Does the job.

Bean Out - Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. It may appear to only be in a shopping centre, but boy howdy is this place a find. Care is taken in the aesthetics of the place, particularly from looking on the outside. It has the undertones of fancy without a phoney facade and to demonstrate with an example of what makes them stand-out with coffee: their list of black coffees is possibly just as long as the list of white coffees. Not only that, there is just .... something about the ambiance when a coffee place has an Italian influence in which this place certainly does; I could feel it in my bones and get the aura of wonderful service. Part of it could have been the lady that was at the counter (she certianly was Italian) but I felt welcome and a whole lot comfort. The young man who waiting here - at least to my experience - was pleasant as well.

Since it was a hectic morning and I had another date on, I thought that I would make this place my breakfast for the day. I was shopping with my dining buddy and the two of us will always weasel in an excuse to try new coffees when we can. So, here they have four different blends - a Nero, a Felici, a House Blend and a Decaf for when I was there. I chose the Nero Blend as it was a dark roast, getting it in a double cappuccino. This was a pleasant cappuccino, which should be no surprise with the major Italian influence in this cafe. Alongside it, I got a sweet - a key lime tart took my fancy.

My dining buddy and I like to share things, as it efficiently allows trying as much as possible. He got a craberry pistachio tart - which was laced with plenty of white chocolate. The cranberry tart was nice, but maybe a bit over-riden with the white chocolate; I saw bits and pieces of both cranberrry and pistachio nuts in it, along with an occassional taste here and there of them. The key lime tart was also pleasant. Flavours in it were fairly subtle and the texture was moreishly soft. It was so good, that I did not need the cream that came along side it.

The staff are wonderful with babies. I had my niece alongside me here, and she was kept in the baby seat of the trolley. It did take up a bit of room, and the waitstaff did not raise any fuss. These guys are also trusted caterers. This is one of those places that with some pondering is actually a better find than I initially thought, and that was from an already positive perception of it. It is aimed to be general dining and family-friendly; however, they do not allow that to be an excuse in giving typical foods - here there is care taken when presenting burgers and making sure something for everyone is available. Why it took me so long to give this place a go, I have no idea in retrospect. It's almost like somewhere from the inner-south transported itself to stay more outer-south and it is very welcome.

Good customer service, I had no issues with the food either. The price was about average for a Cafe. The thing that bugged me was the seats were too low, the table was as high as my chest! Is it possible to lower the tables to match the seats? Am I asking too much? Probably. Thanks for the food!

Fast kitchen with a good selection of breakfast and lunch menu options, plus a range of pre-made food in the glass cabinet ready to go. The coffee is always good and the staff friendly. This is a good Mall cafe - the type of place you go to when in the centre and not necessarily making a special trip.
