Pleasantly surprised with the takeaway coffee here. We unfortunately were unable to sit down as all 10 available seats were occupied. Flat whites we ordered had double shots & tasted rich & smooth with no bitterness, even presented well on removing lid. All the cakes here are also amazing, so intricate & colourful
Phuong Tran and I visit for Afternoon area last week. The Cafe is full of patrons so we check out the delightful desserts while waiting for a table. We eventually decide to share a Tatafu and a Cappuccino.
Our dessert and coffee is served within minutes. Impressive! The Tatafu’s mascarpone is delicious and the coffee is hot and flavourful. Thank you guys!
After q quick stop by time zone for the kids to play, we were in need of a quick fix of coffee and snacks. So decided to try this place out. Wife really wanted the almond croissant, so off we went.
Nice little store, with everything on display, so it was just picking out what we wanted. Almond croissant, Apple Danish and a few coffees.
Plenty of seating either side, and order and received a number. Service is really quick, guessing from the cabinet, everything is premade and just have to toast them up. Quick and tasty, the coffee was decent, I had a cappacino and wife has chai latte.
The pastry, were above average, wife enjoyed both.
Overall nice little place to sit and relax before more walking about in this big centre.
Le Bon Choix serves delicious and well presented pastries and cakes. Their macarons are very flavourful and on the pricier side (as are all their products).
It’s a great place to spend time there with friends while enjoying delicious colourful cakes and your choice of drink. It’s a place that I often go there, I just have to add that I’m not a big fan of their tarts.

Prior top attend my friend's house warming party, we dropped in this renowned café to take away some sweet treats for dessert. I found it was very hard to make a nice decision of what to choose; however the Bamboleo would be the a-must. We selected six varieties, which are all good but the Bamboleo is still the top of my favourites. The nice sparkled glazing, the silky mousse and the balance taste of the mango, passionfruit and banana are all orchestrated in my mouth. It is so impressive....

Have been to its siblings at Paddington and Hamilton, both of them left me very impressive experience and so as this one at Garden City. Had 'high tea' at this place after the shopping. Looked at the cake display cabinet, the lure made me placed the order of Bamboleo with my favourite flat white. Well, coffee did not make me surprise but the feeling of having a sip of coffee with a spoonful of Bamboleo was wonderful. The trio of fruit flavours (mango, passionfruit and banana) really sang in my mouth. They made me smile and indulged in enjoying my life.......
We had breakfast twice here while visiting Brisbane and each time the food and service was great. There is good variety and the service is fast and efficient. Very tasty food. A lovely way to start our day.
Don't let the kiosk style presentation or location deceive you, this is a good place to visit. It's a shame it doesn't have it's own store like Carindale, as it loses a bit character.
Delicious! Everything looks so good it was hard to choose. I ended up taking away three desserts. If you have never tried it before, it's worth a try! :)
I happened upon this one as I was passing through Garden City one day recently. Their pastries are much the same as the original outlet in the city (Queen St) but the service is more 'Australianised'; side serving of Ocker with your almond croissant?
Also, the shopping centre atmosphere is not quite so cosmopolitan ...
Verdict: same great product but prefer to go to the Queen St shop.
I really enjoy Le Bob Choix. Great savoury selection, overwhelming large range of sweets and good coffee. I only wish this cafe was in the outdoor eating area, or perhaps it's on shop instead on in the middle of the center.
Yummy treats and pots of tea. Wish it wasn't stuck inside the shops though. Would be a much nicer addition if it was outside. The Miroula is my favourite dessert, always have to take one home!
Really high quality cakes here! Don't make my mistake though by ordering one of these cakes for morning tea...it was WAY TOO RICH. I suggest order one to share. It was very nice and well made. Too bad the atmosphere isn't ideal but the best thing to look at are the glass cases with all the pretty sweets inside.
A perfect spot to indulge yourself post shopping trip! It's always a challenge to choose from their selection of divine desserts... But the Lucie strawberry cake is definitely a favourite!
Always a fan of their food. Cherry danish is ok. The cake and eclair are a treat. Atmosphere is far worse than the city store. But this one is in a shopping center. Its not their fault.
I am not sure if the tasty pastries, cakes and donuts makes up for their service?? I love their food but I am not impressed with the staff there, if only they were friendlier???
Wow, wow, wow. What and awesome selection of pastries, way to many for just one visit in fact. The presentation is absolutely amazing bordering on artwork. The taste definitely matched the look of these yummy treats. Such delicate texture and flavors. Service was also fantastic and lovely to see a French lady behind the counter. I will return to sample more of these devine goodies
Nice cafe in the shopping center. The almond crossiant tasted delicious. Also ordered the Misoula?? (A Chocolate mousse cake ) and it tasted quite nice, although a bit sweet.
Missing star as some tables were dirty and remained there for quite a while. But understandable as only 2 staff on shift.
Will be back for more almond crossiants and cakes :)
