Review Rice Town - Upper Mt Gravatt

Got a new set of acrylics and when asking questions about them i got rude and short responses. Was told a price at the start when telling them what i would like and price went up 10$ after they had been done. I got blue french tip and i asked for a light pink under colour and that was not given so can really tell they're false, as well as only getting one finishing coat, one hand wasn't filed after the gel polish had dried and no drill the clean up the cuticle. Very unprofessional and was a rushed job.

Had my nails done here a few times. 1st time pedicure was great as I got the deluxe pedicure were they soak your feet in wax. I did ask for them to shave dead skin which they did. I don’t know if it’s just a Brisbane thing but does cleaning the dirt underneath the nails not automatically include in all pedicure services? It blows my mind that every pedicure place I go to I have to ask them to and some of them seem like they have never done it before. Anyway my first experience was pretty good so I went back a few weeks later and it was a different experience. I was Rushed. I think you have to ask for the same person if you want the same experience? I then came again to do my manicure and pedicure and it was a poor experience. My acrylics broke the same week of getting them done. I have not returned. I gave a 2 star cause my first experience was what took me back. But hopefully my feedback can help improve there services

Went in and gave a reference pic (top pic) of what I was after and told they could do it easy, and during getting my nails she was very rushed. The end result looked nothing like my reference, my own nails weren't even matching and there was huge bumps and glitter stuck in my nails (bottom pic). I went back to ask for it to be fixed and was told that I was wrong and should've told them how to do it. They were very rude and the person I spoke with was super argumentative and rude and didn't have any customer service skills at all. Was quite embarrassing. I will never be going there again and I suggest no one else does either!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!if I could give 0 stars I would. Was rushed and just in it for the money. Poor customer service no communication after feet were done the lady done my toes and walked off to the back. The paint job is so bad, it is patchy and paint missed on nails and lumpy. Also got my daughters nails done and 2 of her nails come off within an hour of getting them done.

I went in to get one nail fixed and it’s so incredibly disappointing, legit the worst shaping I’ve ever seen, the lady also had a bad attitude, she didn’t seem to care about doing a quality job. Like there was 9 other nails to compare it to that are perfectly shaped (done by another salon) and she couldn’t even match it. Would absolutely not recommend unless you want to waste your money and go home upset. All I can say is I’m glad I found out how bad their service was before I went and got a full set done there.

$102 for uneven nails that look like a 5 year old could have done. Corners of nails haven’t been filed down & cut my own hand on them. Will never be returning. I will keep my money at the beauty stop chermside where you get nails 3x better than I was given for 3/4 of the price.

The beauty stop near the food court gave me the best acrylics I’ve ever had, so friendly as well. Thought id give this other store a second chance, $50 for a removal and ‘manicure’, left with half the nail still on and mismatched lengths (after cutting way past the length asked), stood there arguing with me over whether there was anything wrong Save yourself the headache.

Worst pedicure iv ever ever had. To start off the water was cold until I asked for just the hot water to be ran. Then I had a leg massage for maximum 1 min each. I had to actually ask her to cut my toenails. I asked the lady not to scrub in the middle of my foot (arch)  she just put the whole thing down and didn't even do it. This whole processs took 10 mins. Meanwhile I had another lady come say "you want a refill? " I asked to see some nail art and she said, "most people just show us want they want" I then explained I wanted to see what they have done....she walked off and spoke to others laughing in her language..clearly about me.I felt so uncomfortable. Then it was shellac time.... she applied  3 coats and I looked at them...OMG it looked like a 2 year old had done them. They where patchy, bubbly, clearly too much shallac thinner and it was even on my skin.....the nails weren't even straight.... I said to the other lady can she understand me? Then another lady came out drilled off all the shellac and started again... she took her time and yes I was happy when I walked out... but if it weren't for people like myself speaking up.. they would be roughing people for $. So if she hadn't have fixed it... it would have been a 20min pedicure... as a beauty therapist I normally go to a home salon.... and for this reason.... for an extra $10 I would have had a 45 min luxury pedicure... will never ever do this again..
