Nice meal, really quite delicious! Haven't been here for a while, so was really nice to come back. The outdoor area looks like lovely area, would be especially nice in better weather to overlook our beautiful lake, today it's a bit overcast and drizzling.

Their margarita was a bit strange tasting - certainly not the finest mixing but the presentation was nice. The food and dessert however was wonderful.

Went with group for lunch on charity event and so was a visitor. Had pleasant club lunch, bit mislead on fish. Asked for a fillet but got steak cut which I do not consider a fillet. But still meal pleasant, service was friendly and good. Environment of club good. Bar service was good also. Pleasant outing and would recommend it for outings.

We hosted our wedding reception at Valentine Bowling Club over the weekend. Absolutely could not complain about the presentation of the functions room and the view is amazing. But what we can complain about is the food, the lack of communication from the functions manager, the poor communication from the CEO and the service received from bar manager on duty. We chose the cocktail package for the canapés to which we received rock hard and ice cold cheese burgers? When asked for a replacement we received no response. And after speaking with Geoff, it appears there was no problem with any of the food and all was consumed. Drinks package was to finish at 930 although we were meant to be able to buy drinks until 10:30. We have since found out the bar was closed at 930 because we were too intoxicated. Which was not the case at all. We were told we could wait in the bar downstairs until our taxi arrived. 10:10pm came and we were still waiting on a taxi and the manager on duty told us to leave the premises Because he had to close the doors and go home and that if we didn’t want to wait on a taxi we should have caught the last courtesy bus home at 9:30. We definitely would have done that if I knew we were going to get kicked out of the function room which was meant to finish at 10:30pm! For the amount of money we spent on this, we would not recommend having a wedding at this venue.

A bit disappointing that the bar staff didn’t know the meaning of the word hospitality Food average at best, waited along time for our meals. Amazing water views from the table we had, unfortunately it wasn’t cleaned and wiped down after we sat down.

Went to lunch for Mother’s Day one of the first people I. The club to order lunch told no lobster moment for lunch yet everyone after us ordered so went up to make a complaint. The girl just didn’t know how to put it in the system ... all fitness to the club they came and rectified the problem after we made a complaint ... then found mot work out the difference I money. No trained staff ... what’s wrong with theses people... staff training

25+ years since I’ve been there and it definitely has tripled in size! Club looks amazing! Food, well it was mediocre. Typical pub grub on a bad day.

Location is prime staff are great food was very ordinary and over price for the quality

We lunched there yesterday Food dissapointing typical club food and prices too expensive. Great view but was very noisy due to Scottish Bag Pipes playing. Overall 6 out of 10.The only good thing is the view

Been coming to Valentine bowling club for over 10 years now, usually nice food but I was very disappointed last night. Chicken schnitzel very dry, had garlic prawn topping, hardly any sauce on it, salad full of lettuce, chips cold! I am also a member, had my daughters 18th there, went for seafood raffle, could not even hear the numbers!! Won't be back.
