What a beautiful venue! The decor and surrounding gardens are gorgeous.
After a slight booking issue for breakfast on a Friday (which is no longer available) Mary-Ann took great care of my husband and I (plus newborn in tow) and she offered us some drinks on the house. The venue was so beaut and relaxing that we were more than happy to chill until lunch service began at 12. And I’m glad we stuck around.
We had the duck and sweet potato gnocchi which were just amazing and cooked to perfection. The chips were the most crispest I’ve ever tasted. I cant wait to go back. A great paddock to plate restaurant with a great selection of local wines to boot.

Excellent food and atmosphere!
The Botanica restaurant is an oasis situated in a new development in upmarket Vaucluse. It’s full of lush greenery (both inside and outside) amid a glamorous velvet-heavy decor, setting the scene for one of the most picturesque locations to enjoy some brunch in Sydney. Surprisingly, the prices on the menu aren’t all that much more than your average brunch options elsewhere in Sydney, despite the more luxe surroundings.
A fabulous and beautiful space. Great Brunch and lunch options. The reservations allow for little to no wait time. Friendly staff and fast service.

The most gorgeous brunch cafe I’ve ever been to 😍. Ideal for a girls brunch or catchup! There’s a garden when entering the cafe so there’s plenty of photo ops for the gram 😘. Booking are essential here as it’s really popular on the weekends. I came here for the breakfast menu.
Dish 1: • Coconut & Chia Pancakes, Grilled banana 🍌, passion fruit curd, shaved pineapple macadamia nuts & coconut 🥥caramel $18 • MY FAV PANCAKES TO DATE! The passion fruit curd is addictive! The pancake batter is light and the fruits are cooked well😍
Dish 2: • 🌽Sweetcorn, polenta & quinoa fritters king salmon pastrami, dill, poached eggs, corn and tumeric relish $24. • Not worth the price in my opinion. The portions are too small for the price paid. It tasted fine but I’d probably choose something else next time around.
We dined in at the Botanica and first impressions were good. The design, interior and exterior, was just beautiful and set the ambiance of the restaurant. I ordered the gnocchi for main and it was so delicious. It was soft, although it didn’t melt in my mouth; but was beautiful. We also ordered the sirloin steak, hand cut chips, meringue and apple tart. Definitely would come back again.
One of Sydney’s best! Such a pretty cafe in Vaucluse. Can definitely recommend the banana pancakes. Will be back here for sure - so much to try on the menu.
This place is a hidden gem, offering a beautiful and chilled atmosphere. The menu is small but on point. Magnificent presentations of food, amazing flavours and an absolute must. You can reserve a table which is also fantastic for busy weekends. I will definitely be going back for more.
