Went to Market and Co to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends. Was actually wanting to visit this place for a long time as have been to almost all the dining venues at Crown except this one.. so wanted to tick this off.
We had a booking, but when we arrived it was difficult to get waiter’s attention. After we managed to get her attention everything was just flawless and our experience was excellent. Water and menu was served on the table, the waiter suggested few good mains and voila .. the food was absolutely delicious, great servings for the value deals and very well presented. They have amazing lunch/ dinner time specials – value meals for $19.95 and have good choices too including vegetarian, chicken, seafood etc) If you are a crown member you get the value meal for 14.95 which is a bargain..
The atmosphere and the ambiance is a mix of classy plus casual set up – so a great place to catch up with friends and family. They even got me a chocolate plaque with Happy birthday with my name on it when we ordered our desserts.

I went here with an entertainment coupon. So it was buy one get one free which was a pretty good deal. I ordered the gnocchi and my partner had the crispy pork belly. I had major food envy when our dishes arrived. I wasn’t a fan of the gnocchi itself unfortunately and I picked around them and ate most of the veges instead. It tasted a little bland and heavy for me. So half the plate of gnocchi was left behind which I didn’t want to finish. The pork belly was very good though according to him and he left happy.

आम्ही butter chicken with naan आणि lamb twice cooked with tomato ,broccoli,creamy mush ,wine jus order केले.
It was really good.. butter chicken was almost true to its original test(as i am indian ..i can tell diff)
And lamb was also nice..perfectly cooked

It was quite by accident that my friend and I ended up dining at this eatery. We tried to book at any one of three restaurants at Crown, but they were all booked out on a Tuesday night. And what a welcome accident it was. The menu was so filled with gastronomic delights, it made our choice very difficult, but we finally decided on the Seafood Platter for two. Not only did this 5 Star eatery surprise me by actually catering for Coeliacs, but I was amazed that they allowed us to vary the seafood items that are customarily offered with this mouthwatering mountain of delicacies from the oceans of the world. For those who love Chilli Muscles, Oysters, and Cuttlefish, you will be most pleased to know that these items are part of the standard offering in addition to Garlic Prawns, succulent Pan Seared Scallops, the finest Smoked Samon, and the "Pie`ce de Re`sistance"...the best Barramundi I have ever tasted in my 35 year residence in Perth. Wait...there's more: This Seafood Platter priced at just under $100 included the tastiest mashed potato and perfectly steamed medley of my favourite vegetables. It was supposed to be ample for 2 people. However, much to my amazement, it could have easily fed 4 people. We were so full after this incredible seafood dinner, that we could not even consider dessert. This was the 1st time this has ever happened. I can guarantee the readers of this review that they will not find a better value or more satisfying seafood dinner in all of Perth. I have eaten at Market & Co previously on a few occasions, and have been suitably impressed with the dishes I've had, with the ambience, with the professional and cordial service, and with the value for money that this eatery represented. However, I never expected to be transported to a whole new level of dining, where my tastebuds exploded with excitement. If there is someone special in your life who you would like to impress, take them to Market & Co, and they will be thanking you for years to come.
Stopped by for a last minute dinner Saturday night, Market & Co was one of the reasonably priced restaurants at the Crowne Casino. Ordered the tasting plate with drinks and the Nasi Goreng dish. Service was fantastic during dinner and the food delicious. Loved that the Nasi Goreng came with satay sticks and chilli on the side. Not overly oily - wonderful savoury meal. Would definitely return. Would love to see a West Australian sparkling by the glass on the menu.
Came here on a whim. The service is great and the interior is beautiful. The lunch special they had where everything was under $20 was very eye-catching but we ordered something from the ordinary menu instead. We had the linguini with the crab and prawns and also the steak sandwich. The linguini was a little under seasoned, and they could do with more roiling tomato sauce for this to add more depth to the meal as it was a little bland. The seafood is of good quality and I liked that I got more cheese upon request. The steak sandwich was good, though the bun was a little on the soggy side which made the sandwich fall apart half way. Could do with a bit more crisp to hold it together. But overall, it was a good dining experience and we will come back if we are around the corner.
Nice spot for dinner on date night before losing a few $ in the cas. The service here was good and the choices ok. As you can see, we had three courses and wine. The mixed entree plate was yummy and then our steaks were good. Ordering a steak is risky but it paid off. Dessert was nice before we hit the tables.
Because we stayed overnight we were back for the buffet breaky in the morning that was also good. I had a freshly made poached egg but the made to order omelette looked the goods too! A nice way to spend 16 hrs while the kids were partying elsewhere.... www.thesoloavocado.com
Sunday afternoon at Market and Co and was very good, a bottle of red - Asian tasting plate for two and some oyster followed by the pork belly. All in all can't be faulted staff and services - excellent
Little Chef and I have been to some exciting family events at Crown in the last couple of months. Both times, we’ve had plans to have a pre-show bite at one of my favourites, The Merrywell – both times it’s been far too busy to get a table. Our go to “Plan B” is Market and Co, which is found opposite The Merrywell, at the Crown Promenade Hotel.
I recently went to Market and Co for dinner with my husband. For a Weekend night it was very quiet, but we were quickly shown to our seats. The staff were very attentive and explained the menu well.
The meals were very nice, without being pretentious or fancy.
The only thing lacking was a bit of excitement about the place, but overall a nice meal without a heavy price tag.
I've not visited every restaurant at Crown but of those I have, Market & Co has become my choice for al a carte. The pork belly and scallops were both cooked better than I've had anywhere in the past. The restaurant doesn't have the pretence of Rockpool or Bistro Guillaume but is a nice, semi-casual, restaurant to enjoy a well cooked and well prepared modern Australian menu.
This is surprisingly great food. Its really fine dining pub food but worth every voucher you have! I had really lovely food here, keep in mind its a hotel with family, children and todlers.
Cocktails are good , haloumi starter is solid for 3 people , snapper and Lamb rack were just perfect.
Probably just not the perfect environment for everyone.
After reading reviews from people saying how average this restaurant was when I dined here with family I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef medallions with mashed potato, turkish bread with olive oil/balsamic/dip and broccolini. The beef medallion dish was by far my favourite because it was succulent, juicy and flavourful. I'd definitely dine at this restaurant again and with prices like this, what's stopping you.
I didnt expect market n co to be anything special but it definitely surprised me!

The steak was very juicy,came with a delicious mashed potato and onion rings.

Had dinner here tonight. Service was very quick, very friendly staff and food was great. Had the ravioli with wagyu beef & chilli mussels and both were great!
We went for the dinner special. Had the fish and chips and beef medallion. Food was pretty good as I wasn't expecting too much from the reviews. Service a bit lacking though, had to remind them about our drinks halfway through our meals.
Happy Australia Day! Asian testing plate for a starter. Oh Yes......Club sandwich here I come, was very good but the Seafood risotto was a bit average. Cheers🍻
I came here for a function so I can't comment on the menu or the pricing. But I can say the food was delicious.
But I have to say the service is shocking. Considering its a restaurant in the Casino the etiquette of the waitstaff were very poor. My friend order a coffee at the end of the meal which did not come for sometimes. But we did notice there was a hot drink sitting by the bar. Well guess what, it was hers and it was only delivered after we queried the staff. She said it was lukewarm but considering it was a function she didn't want to complain.

Sunday dinner at Market & Co started off a bit strangely as we called to make a booking and were told it was booked out but to just show up and they'd try to find us a table. We did this and found the restaurant was half empty! It didn't fill up at the end of our meal either so I'm not sure why they said it was booked out.
We only had mains and my husband chose bacon wrapped steak with onion rings, prawns and chips. I had the pork belly with pork cheek croquette, potato gratin and scallops. My husband really enjoyed his meal but mine was definitely the pick of the day, it was delicious!
We had the Entertainment Card which made our meal two for one - this made our meals excellent value. If we'd not had the card, I'd have thought it was a good meal but a bit overpriced.
We had to flag a staff member down to order drinks and our water was never refilled - we rarely saw any waiters which is part of the reason why my rating isn't higher. Also it is expensive if you don't have the Entertainment Card. Still very yum though! Good option while you're at Crown Perth.
I booked a table for 4 on a Saturday night for my mums birthday and emailed to see if they could do anything special. I didn’t receive a reply but was very pleasantly surprised to have two waiters come out with desert with candles and sing happy birthday for her. Great experience. Friendly staff and good space, it wasn’t cramped and it has a good atmosphere. Food was lovely too! Entrees: Buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and Turkish bread with oil and dips, were tasty and good size servings. For mains I had the prawn and crab angel hair pasta – beautiful seafood, No2 had a sirloin cooked rare, No3 had the pork belly and No4 had wagyu burger – all highly rated and good servings. Desert was oreo cheesecake and warm brownie – perfect way to finish off. Will go again!
They do have special dinners offer now at $13.95. Worth the try.
Their onion rings are nice. Lightly battered but fresh. Tried their chillie mussels as well. There is enough punch in the taste. I tried their steak before and I enjoyed it as well.
Can always swing over whenever on site at crown. Nice ambience as it is located at the hotel lobby.
Went there few night ago with friends and all of us enjoyed the food and service and the restaurant looks good inside !

Pre-Show Treat. When we first entered the restaurant, the doorway is in a bad position where you can't move in properly. It was awkward to stand around waiting for others to be served first. It was all good once we got seated though. We had a pre-show set dinner menu and chose the calamari entree which was great. I had the angel pasta with seafood which was a nice taste but the freshness of prawns was questionable. My husband had the steak and this was a generous serving which was cooked well. The mashed potato was a bit boring. Oreo cheesecake was a winner.
Expensive but good food. We went to have lunch here, the set menu for mothers day at $75 each. The food was really good but for my husband and I, who eat a lot, the serving was small. We ended up sharing our son's remaining food lol.
There was only one dessert, so not really a choice, would've loved to have a few selection. Overall it is pricey for the small serving but nevertheless the experience was great and food was great
Good value. $13.95 lunch special for a steak, chips and salad and it was delicious!
Third time eating at Market & Co. Each time I've gone it has been for a late afternoon tapas snack. It has always been delicious and out quickly. It's a shame to read lots of people having bad experiences.. We really liked this place! I would go back again

2 out of 3. We have been here 3 times... First time we were really happy - bit pricey for what it is but thought the service was good, my cocktail was very nice and food was also good. I had the angel hair pasta which disappointingly only had 2 prawns but still left very satisfied.
Second time we thought we would take my parents and we weren't overly impressed... Service was slow, really potent/not nice cocktail which I physically could not drink and food was below average. Really oily and not cooked well. My dad ordered the steak which I thought was very overpriced and nothing to rave on about.
Decided to give it another go on Saturday night as we could not get into Modo Mio and again were pretty impressed! My partner was not happy that they had taken the big tasting platter off the menu as this is what he has had the last 2 times and really liked it - he mentioned to the waiter that was what he came for and was a little disappointed and the waiter politely told him that the menu changed about a month ago and it was no longer offered.
I had the chicken, pancetta and spinach pasta and was really impressed. Not overpowered and perfect amount of sauce - only criticism I have is that bacon was used not pancetta which was annoying as I ordered it because I love pancetta and it kind of made it more of a carbonara..... We also got onion rings which the 2nd time were not cooked well and soggy/oily but this time they were crunchy and yum. I also had the lychee cocktail which was really nice - a little too much green leaf in it for my liking but still nice.
My partner got the wagu beef burger which he enjoyed so cant complain
After reading other reviews I was concerned about the waiters but we had no issues, food came out quite quickly (we did dine at 8:30pm so that might have something to do with it) and the waiter asked if we enjoyed our food when the plates were cleared which was nice.
I really like the ambiance here, its quite a busy/vibrant place but still easy to have a conversation over the table - a nice place to dine.
Our dinner (2 mains, 1 side, 1 cocktail and 1 soft drink) was $80 which I thought was pretty reasonable seeing as we enjoyed the meal. You could easily spend double that though - especially with the price of the steaks which personally I think are overpriced considering my dads steak the second time we dined - I could have brought a nicer piece of meat and cooked it better myself for a fraction of the price.
Will probably return if its another last minute dinner as we have never had issues trying to get a table but would prefer other places inside Crown for a planned & booked evening.

Best thing to happen to Crown Perth (and eateries in Perth in general). Have been to Market & Co 4 times in the past 12 months and it satisfies every time. Saturday night was the most recent experience we booked months in advance as we were going to a musical at 8. All 4 of us had the 3 course set menu - food came out very fast (obviously had done a lot of prep to have prompt service and this was executed wonderfully) - and THE BEST dessert I have ever tasted was the Oreo cheesecake, think I will be back just for this! Steaks were all cooked as requested and all entrees were delicious (salt and pepper fish, spicy chicken wings and soup with scallops). Service was quite good. Other experiences were a group of 12 on new years day, had to sit outside and order at the bar all meals came around the same time, no complaints. And have twice dined as a couple on a Sunday evening, service maybe a bit slow but relaxing and food always well presented, well cooked and good flavours. Would 100% recommend every time! flawless! great job!

Good value!. Went there last night (Friday night) and was told they only do pre-show menu on that night - $52 for 2 course or $59 for 3 course. Chose the 3 course option.
Entrees: Vietnamese prawn spring rolls, pork lumpia, soy dipping sauce - Came in 2 fried pork lumpia and 2 Vietnamese prawn spring rolls and some salad. The port lumpia was soooo delicious! You can actually taste and see the pork. Big serving too!
Bruschetta, basil marinated tomato, melted Swiss cheese, olive tapenade, olive oil - Came in 2 pieces of bruschetta. A slice of melted swiss cheese on top and fresh diced tomato - tasted so good! never thought to have melted swiss cheese on bruschetta.
Mains: Barramundi fillet and Scotch fillet, 300gm. Both the grilled items were served with gnocchi and field mushrooms. Came nicely decorated with 2 deep fried onion rings on the top. The Barramundi was nice and moist and melted in my mouth. The Scotch fillet was nicely cooked and tender (although it was rarer than I ordered but it tasted great!). I wasnt a fan for gnocchi but I absolutely liked the gnocchi there - it wasn't chewy like the gnocchi I had elsewhere, it tasted like mash potato but better.
Desserts: Warm apple crumble tart, vanilla ice cream - apple crumble tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Nice. You can see the apple dice.
Layered trio chocolate mousse cake - MY FAVOURITE and highly recommended! 3 layers of chocolate (1 layer of dark chocolate on top followed by another layer of milk chocolate mouse and with chocolate cake on the bottom) and a chocolate stick. It was soo good!
Service: Attentive but I felt a slight pushy. The waiter kept coming back to see if we had finished the meal while I was clearly still eating (and there were lots of empty tables), and while I was still finishing off my dessert, and the waiter left the bill on the table (we didnt request that). I felt like they wanted us out asap which I think it was rude.
Atmosphere: Spacious and good for catching up on a Friday as you can actually talk. Cafe style setting but nice. They have a separate bar area for drinks.
Overall: I enjoyed the meal very much and think it is good value. The service needs to improve. But yes I will certainly return!
Great pre-show meal. Had the set pre-show menu. Great food, good wine, good service. Efficient and quick with service to finish in time for the show but we did not feel rushed or pressured to move on. Good selection in the set menu and everyone liked their choices.
Good nosh. Part of a 40th birthday group. We had a set menu. Enjoyed the bruschetta as well as sharing the wife's prawn spring rolls done 2 ways. Asked for my steak to be done medium rare and despite the menu stating that all steaks are cooked to medium, not only was my steak cooked to perfection, but the waiter came over to ensure that the chef got my steak right. Great service, busy happening restaurant. Drinks before at the Merrywell and managed to not lose money at the Casino made for a great night out.
Was expecting the worst!. My other half booked us lunch for today at Market & Co. After reading the reviews i was expecting no service. I have to say that the staff members we dealt with were very quick and friendly. We were seated and given water for the table..
I had the Nasi Goreng with the satay sticks which was yummy and nicely presented. We will be going back for sure. Price wise its perth prices.
