Popped in on a busy afternoon, found a table and used the QR code to order two drinks, a chicken parmi and the scotch fillet. Drinks arrived at the table within 5 mins and the food within 15. The chips were amazing! A soft crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Also looked like it had some kind of red seasoning salt on it. Huge parmi which hit the spot. The steak had a nice char and was well cooked. The side salad was crisp and fresh. Dog friendly too. Will definitely be back

An excellent kid-friendly venue for catching up with friends and families. Kids playground is spacious and elevated for easy monitoring from almost every table in the courtyard. The main dishes are generous in serving but nothing fancy, average pub food. The kids meal was a good value for money except the jelly with Freddo frog came out melted as it was sitting on top of the fridge or something next to an exhaust fan?? The dessert dishes on the other hand is a bit of hit and miss - the banana fritters were pretty mediocre except for the dollop of vegan ice cream, the vanilla ice cream was a big disappointment as it came out half melted, but the sticky pudding was rather enjoyable. The place gets packed quite quickly with food taking up to an hour to come out when order placed after 2pm on a Sat. Expect to pay $45-55 for a 2 course meal with a drink.

Renovations to beer garden are great. Playground is great and if snag a seat outside you can keep an eye on the critters. Food was ordered smoothly through the QR code on the table. Food and drinks came in about 15 minutes. Kids meal was very decent for 15 dollars! Recommend.

We always drop by for a pint and a meal with family and friends. Congrats on your renovation, but gosh what happened to your menu!!! We used to love the flavour explosion of your moqueca fish cakes, the chunky indulgence of the yucca fries, etc. Now your new menu seems like totally average suburban pub food, nicely presented dishes but utterly uninspired in the flavour department. Would be nice to at least have salt and pepper on the tables to be able to add some seasoning. Such a shame.

Good place to catch up with friends. The food came out fast and the chips are crunchy and tasty. They had specials on Monday for steak so it was a bargain. The Brazilian rump I had, was fatty on the sides. Generous portion for chicken parmi. After the meal, we went outside near the bar area to have a couple more drinks. Even though it was cold and windy at night, they have a huge outdoor heater which kept us warm.

We went for a beer and a light dinner after meeting our granddaughter for the first time. The service was excellent and the meal was just what we ordered and was fresh and tasty. Definitely will go back 😊

A brilliant upgrade and extension to the hotel. Family friendly and sports in the big screen. The new tapas food was so tasty.

Amazing experience! Went there with some girlfriends and it did not disappoint. The vibes and food were perfection and the service was incredible. Shout out to Bel (think she was the manager) who was so lovely and welcoming and made the night special. By the end of the night she knew our orders and even suggested some amazing new cocktails and drinks that are my new favourite drinks (give her a pay rise!). Plus they've got a beautiful outside area! Cannot rate highly enough. Will be back x

The food here is extremely poor and not exactly cheap either. I had to send my first meal, the chicken and pastrami sandwich back and was served a chicken sandwich with no explanation. When I asked why I was told they had no pastrami. The guy, I assume the supervisor decided to order me a steak sandwich instead without asking me. Long story short I ordered a steak, it was raw, it sucked. I ate it anyway because I couldn't be bothered to wait on another meal. Good job guys, good job.

Came in for the steak and rib special x2 and a corona and midori with the mrs had a shaky start got given the wrong steak turned out after I had sent it back they had just been mixed up by the waitress Had my steak re fired anyway Was excellent juicy and perfectly cooked Ribs were great had seen previous reviews about theses so was concerned Chips and salad well how can screw that up (you can't) so yep they were perfect too What an excellent and well priced meal The manager was more than accomodating And looked after us with a free round as an apology to the confusion which I declined as I was extremely happy with my meal ....I'm also a chef Will be coming back

I love this pub I went there on Saturday with my grandson who is here from Melbourne. The food was excellent. Drinks great prices and the staff are all lovely 😊 my grandson said it was the best steak he has had top marks

Had a steak here never again, asked for medium steak came out over cooked and burnt, service was awful had to sit our selfs down didn’t even get us water, this was the worst place I have ever been.

Beer was cold service was great food sea platter for two was a letdown for the price and tasted over cooked think the chips must have been the last out of the bay Marie

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Been here watching the state of origin game tonight, in the back bar ordering drinks and food, as soon as the game finished they closed the back bar and used some sort of industrial bleach to clean the floors! The smell of bleach was overwhelming to the point we could no longer sit where we were sat! Very dissatisfied

Duty Manager Aaron and his team provided exceptional service for my party of approx 25 last Sunday arvo in the alfresco area. Nothing was too much trouble including, arranging extra chairs, keeping me appraised of bar tab total, coloured tabs for partygoers for tab purposes, food platters hot/delicious/ and on time, turning music off for speeches. With persons attending ranging from 7 to 75, everyone agreed it was a great afternoon...Prices for pints of beer/wine/ spirits etc were commented on by attendees as cheaper than other licensed premises....ps Jelly Donut shooters were yummy! Thanks again Aaron....

My lamb shank had no sauce so not much flavour. The meat was hard to get off the bone it was not falling off, it was not tender Like it should be. Very disappoint, service was also lacking.

Melanie was our waitress and she was lovely. The food we ordered was very good and a good price. I had the rump steak and my husband had barramundi. We go the Vic Pk a lot and have never been disappointed. Thanks for another lovely night.

Good place lovely staff. A bit slow on bar service on state of origin night. Needed more staff on. Girl working was apologetic which seemed to keep everyone ok. Could still see game on tv's whilst waiting so that was good. Food was once again awesome and kids and wife happy. So if they are happy it makes me very happy. Love the place for origin night can't wait til decider.

had the worst beef and guiness pie ever at the hotel I should have had the schnitzel like my sister and her friend I know it was a $12.00 lunch but one spoon of beef and guiness and a pastry top that looked like a giant popadum mmmm

I loved the look of the Victoria Park Hotel. There was a really nice atmosphere, and the wait staff in the restaurant side were lovely. We ordered 3 meals, one (the ribs) was excellent, one (the gnocchi) was ok, and one (the caesar salad) wasn't very good and some of the leaves were very wilted and brown.

It was ok cuz we had no toilet paper and I'm really upset I can't shake it off when they won't play Taylor swift �

Went for breakfast. Had the baked eggs in tomato and chorizo. Great food. Resonable price compared to nearby establishments. And the staff couldn't do have been more friendly and atentive. I will be back.

Visited with a few friends to watch the footy and grab a meal. Food was very ordinary especially the quality of the steak. Full or gristle and tough to eat, half of it was left on the plates. Parmi was also average.

I love a parmi, but this was very average. Perhaps we can forgive because it was day 1 of operation after COVID. Chips, salad and calamari were yum.<br/>

So glad to see the VPH has finally stepped up their game and now they have a fantastic new menu with very good food! It is a lovely venue but the food has always been lacking, till now. We had the brazilian inspired shared grill platter and everything on it was really nice and well cooked, it was perfect for a family dinner. Looking forward to try the rest of the menu.

Took a client today for lunch and the Salmon was superb and Parmagiana was better than most restaurants quality . Both were a nice size and cut<br/>Enjoyed the 3.5 Stella on tap too<br/>Can’t be beaten for lunchtime value in Vic park because most of the cafes only have breakfast menus which is no good for a client lunch<br/>They also had a budget lunch menu too which looked nice as well

Went there for a lunch and you know the feeling you get when you look forward to something and then it is a complete let down that is what I had.  I had the herb crusted lamb.  I was given to pieces of lamb cutlets, the first one was under done, it was hard to cut and chewy.  The second one was better but both pieces had a lot of gristle on them.  There was hardly any veges with it, a couple of tiny pieces of carrots and a piece of brocollini.  The jus was ok, but nothing to rave about.  The person next to me had a burger which the patty had no seasoning and was overdone.  Typical pub food really, but a little bit more care in the cooking would be good.

Closed over half an hour early. No point having hours of business when you close half an hour early. Imagine if the doctor closed at 4:30. The banks close at 4:30 , the supermarkets close early. Rude bad attitude staff. They had been closed for long before half an hour as well.

I've only been once, last Wednesday for steak night. 2 of us ordered the steak special & the other 2 got the ribs special & wowzer were the servings massive!! Not one of us cleared our plate - not through lack of trying though. Couldn't fault the food. We'll be going back this Wednesday & this time we hope to finish. For $15 - great night!!

I don't know about all the weekday specials, but I can definitely recommend the Wednesday night steak and trivia combo. This is my local - technically - so I might be biased in saying it covers all the requirements of a decent pub: old building, local drunks loitering all the time, friendly vibe, sport on the screens and hearty food to go with well priced drinks.

It's just a pub, but it does it well. The steak special night on Wednesdays is worth the value and you can opts for ribs or ribs and steak. It has a varied day menu too. Check out their daily deals.

We've eaten at The Vic Park hotel on many occasions and always enjoyed our meal. Straight up pub grub, with $20 parmi and pint night Mondays. It would be great if I could have wine instead of the beer, but alas. The Paramis are huge and all came out pretty fast. Happy hour 5-6pm with wine at $3.25 per glass!!!

Went here for a function... upstairs area was lovely and the bar was excellent however the food took over an hour and a half to come out. It was a large gathering with more than 100 people many had to leave before food started to arrive, as the last but one table served I got my food five minutes after the function was supposed to finish. I tasted wonderful but I was completely starved and frustrated with the huge wait.

What a great find, lovely atmosphere the minute we walked in we knew we would enjoy our meal. After a few nice cold drinks our garlic bread arrived, we were a bit disappointed it was dry and I think possibly a bit stale but when our mains arrived all was forgiven. A big juicy steak topped with grilled prawns, garlic sauce and oh so fresh salad, the chicken boscaiola one of the nicest I have tasted. Staff very friendly, helpful and courteous

Don't go on a Thursday night. The only menu is their vibe menu. It all sounds good but it is the poorest quality food. The menu states lamb shank served with steamed seasonal vegetables. When it came the seasonal veg is microwaved frozen peas! The crumbed pork is a frozen patty then deep fried served with the cheapest scrag end chips I've ever seen. I'd be embarrassed to serve that. The waitstaff were polite. I'd rather pay more for better quality. I can cook nicer food out of my own freezer thanks.

Typically pub food. Hubby got the pork belly with mash and caramelised onion. Huge piece of pork belly, he said it was nice. I had the sirloin steak with mash, veg and mushroom sauce. Steak was chewy and had gristle, mash and veg nice, mushroom sauce out of a packet, very salty and metallic tasting, no fresh mushrooms in it. Service was great, no separate billing. $60 for the 2 of us not including drinks.

I have the $15 steak special pretty much every Wednesday, it varies a bit but is always decent and sometimes (like recently) it is HELL YES THIS WAS ONLY $15 AND IS DELICIOUS!!

Went here last night and it was great! Had the special of Lamb Shanks and it was amazing! Ordered a serve of garlic bread with 6 slices thinking that I accidentally ordered 2 serves and it was only one serve so I was super happy about that! Loved the arancini balls as well. Everyone was super happy and it was reasonably priced ($115 for 3 people with a drink each). Was a good night and would definitely come again!

Food was alright, normal pub grub! Wings were incredible But try to get another drink and they are all standing behind the counter talking and playing on their phones! Even the manager, I think his name was Jerald, just ignored us. Possibly the worst service I have received there!! If you go, hopefully another manager is on because that Jerald just didn't care!

My family and I went here for lunch today. We were seated and served quickly which was nice. The food was pretty good and came out quickly. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely come back here and try something different.

Starving and still Sent if back<br/>Hadn't eaten in over a day so was starving<br/>I ordered a crispy skin pork belly and it came out looking like it had come straight out of a microwave- soft and awful. I returned it saying I would not even serve this at my house.<br/>To their credit they gave me my $ back without argument and my partners burger was lovely.<br/>My advice for this place is stick to what you know - you are obviously good at pub food - stick with it.

I tried the pumpkin and quinoa salad lunch special, which was described as having spring onion but instead contained red onion, and not nearly enough quinoa to warrant the name. The dressing and feta were a little overpowering. Tasted good just a little strong. Good and speedy service. – H

We came here on New Year's Eve for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the chickens wings, arancini balls, onion rings, surf and turf and rib eye on the bone. The food was very good and I was really impressed with the quality of the steak. Cooked perfectly too! The star of the show was the AMAZING chicken wings. They have such a unique flavor and I plan on returning just to eat a bucket of wings. Super yum

Well gee whiz. <br/>We booked 11 of us for end of year drinks. The polite girl on the phone said she'd email me the platter menu. She didn't. <br/><br/>So we order, and we waited. And waited. <br/>Fish and chips should probably have more than 10 chips. <br/>Considering they're the cheapest filler. <br/>Yeah the unknown type of fish was deep fried well, it needed more chips. <br/><br/>Such a small serving I had to eat the salad. And that's saying something. <br/><br/>Chips. It's not rocket appliances. <br/>

Went to the Vic Park Hotel for 2 for 1 Thursdays. Although there is little choice of meat options that don't come deep fried or with chips, I managed to get the chicken and quinoa salad and added chicken. The salad was pretty tasty although my friend ordered the same and found a small piece of aluminum foil in hers. Aside from an apology when she alerted the wait staff, we didn't hear anymore about it. My partner had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. They were quick to take our drinks order and bring them out, however we waited so long to have our food order taken, we had to ask. The wait staff are friendly and seemed busy although the restaurant wasn't quite full, and we easily got a booking with a few days notice. The car park at the back was not busy at all which was great. I would go back again for 2 for 1 Thursdays, it's pretty good value.

We don't usually do pub food but sometimes all you want is some tasty, well cooked, non hipster food! I tried the pork belly. It was succulent and moist on the underside, with a beautiful crispy shell of crackle encasing the well cooked pig. So good! Served with a vegetable purée and some kind of tasty ju it was so good. Pub meals rock!<br/><br/>Update 01/01/16 : Try the Banofee Pie - OMG!

We are here on a Thursday for the 2 for 1 dinner deal. Service was good and it gets packed so we got there early to get a table. Husband got the Caesar salad and loved it, I got the beef and Guinness pie and it was like warm and really sweet, disappointing but I guess it was free.....

Ok I've been here before for drinks & such so I decided to call in for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were very good, I ordered a beer in a bottle but when I went back for another they wouldn't sell me one, there till didn't like it!! Go figure. <br/>The lunch was delicious, a perfectly baked & trimmed chicken breast on a bed of baby spinach leaves topped with mash potato & pumpkin chunks incorporated in a delicious sauce, only complaint was the knife would have had trouble cutting through butter, lucky I didn't order the steak, & the 2 people sitting near me smoking, the waiters & staff waked past these degenerates many times & never once challenged them even though the were sitting under a non smoking sign. Food great but I don't think I'll be back too soon. Just a pub.

Friendly service - chicken burger was great even though the chicken was a little dry and stringy but the other comments were first class. Seafood linguini was gteat too but the pasta was slightly over cooked. God value for the price. Second visit the Wagyu burger contents were very tasty while the bun was a bit sugary for my liking- the pork ribs were sensational

Spoiled the evening. My partner and I used to be regulars but It must have changed hands since the last time we came seeing as the menu was different. <br/>Firstly the woman taking the orders was new and clearly hadn't been trained how to do the job as it took about 15 minutes just to take the order because she couldn't work the computer. Some of the wait staff seemed nice but our waitress was quite rude. They brought the wrong entree. We then waited an hour and a half for our main which they omly brought out because we complained. The food was very average too. So we left hungry and unhappy so it really spoiled the night. Definitely wouldn't go there again.

A.P SACHSE. Had a seating for 28, all went well as we had a huge age range .food was very good and well priced. I can see why it gets booked out .

Rude staff. The most of staff there are rude even not smile, feel like not welcoming to customer. They have to improve how show good attitude to customer. Very dissapointed and i would never come again to there even the price of food are cheap is better go another bar with good services.

Great Value!. Went to this place on a Monday afternoon with my large family and we all went for the lunch specials which we found to be great value, especially the kids' meals: good-sized fish and chips, drink and dessert for ten bucks! The desserts we had (pavlova and chocolate soul) were very nice. The service was friendly and attentive (and our meals all arrived at the same time) although we can't say if that would be the same on a busy night. We didn't intend to go to this place for lunch but glad we did as it offered a good dining experience overall, would go back or recommend it for lunch at least. However, there were quite a few large screens televising various games so, if you're not keen on sport, might not be a good idea to go there when you'd expect a crowd of sports enthusiasts.

I have been here in a group and with another and it has been consistently excellent. We'll done in a time when it is hard to find a restaurant that is consistent. Keep it up and keep improving.

Great for a drink, never eat here. Being the person I am believing everyone deserves a 2nd or 3rd chance, I have been consistently disappointed on all 3 occasions that I have eaten here. Ambiance and staff are great however the food lets it down every time.

Best pork ribs in perth. 2 for Thursday night,,, wow ...what a great deal, you pay for 1 n get 2 really good meals also super cheap booze..<br/>My partner n I went to Vic park last night after long time n we ordered lamb shanks n BBQ pork ribs which were absolutely fantastic, Meat was just falling off the bones,.Good portion size too, service was average <br/>definitely coming back

Service is consistently outstanding. staff are always tentative without being over the top. great value- different specials most nights of the week. $15 steak and rib nights on Wednesday is a must!! :)

Worst meal ever, are here with girlfriends last weekend before going out and food was awful, it's been getting bad over the last while but has now hit rock bottom, I ordered the fish special and it was dry and over cooked service is average and food is getting worse, menu is male orientated as everything is fried, there's plenty of better places in Vic park to eat never again. Also menu is old and dated.

Bit dissappointed. Good service and friendly staff, however I had a meal with two other friends @ $28 each and while they had reasonable large pieces of snapper I was given a very small tail piece which amounted to only a few mouthfuls.

Every couple of months or so we decide to give it a go again hoping maybe new management have taken over but every time we leave hoping the place would burn down and liquorland/wesfarmers would start again. The place has the atmosphere of a hospital, the service is slow and rude and the food is straight from the cold section of Coles. Our most recent meal - a meat lovers pizza which arrived after 20+ minutes. A bite into it and the top was frozen solid. Not sure if they cooked it in a frying pan? When we told the waitress she took the pizza back and within 2 minutes the very same pizza returned clearly microwaved and soggy. Unless you're wearing high vis and after a beer after work, go elsewhere.

Amazing chocolate soul. I've been to the Victoria Park Hotel a few times now and the food and service has always been pretty good. <br/><br/>Last night I went with my partner and a couple of friends and I had the barra sandwich for the first time and it was tasty, the fish was very tender and the focaccia is nice. The only down side was my chips were soggy, disappointed about that, as previously I have had them crispy. The other people were happy with their meals and we got dessert after. <br/><br/>This was the BEST bit of the night, my partner and I have always gotten the chocolate soul cake whenever we come here and it is to die for! It was so moreish, rich and it had this amazing chewy rim. This dessert is a MUST try!

Very Disappointed. Decided to head out for a steak & ended up at Vic Park Hotel - big mistake. I had scotch fillet & it came out looking like a piece of minute steak and well over cooded. Son had sirloin with creamy garlic sauce & it came out swimming in a garlic water sauce :( Salad consisted of a bunch of lettuce & one quarter piece of tomato. Husband had pork & said it was ok. Decided on dessert - another big mistake. Lemon meringue pie was more like a cheesecake with less than 1cm of meringue. Chocolate soul was heated up too much in microwave that the chocolate sauce was burnt. Advised manager and not even offered a refund on the dessert. Sorry but wont be back

Have not been to this place in ages and kicking myself now. Great service and food was as good as any pub I have eaten at. Good to kick back and chill in the beer garden with the lads over a few beers, pretty busy for a Tuesday night...

Hottest Parmy EVER!. I am a very big chilli fiend so to hear that Vic Park Hotel was claiming to make the 'Hottest Parmy in Perth' aka the inferno, I HAD to go and try this. After speaking to a friend that is a regular he informed me that they were holding back on the heat lately so I stupidly asked them to make the hottest inferno that they have ever made. It was god damn hot! I was very impressed they made it so hot after half I had to give up. The staff were fantastic too and gave me some complimentary bread to help ease the pain. Oh and complimentary pints of Cider on arrival, I look forward to coming back and trying the regular inferno!

Nice staff, but terrible food. Ordered a pizza and a squid dish. Pizza was still frozen in middle and soggy, squid was possibly rare, salad that came with It very average

Have had several great pub meals here in the past couple of months, the most recent being a week ago.<br/>Our table ordered steak, shanks, ribs and chicken parmy and no one could fault a thing!<br/>Service was fantastic, despite the fact that it was super busy. I didn't get our servers name, but he was very attentive and helpful.<br/><br/>Will definitely be back! :)

Less than average dessert. I ordered the Apple Pie for dessert tonight expecting a nice slice of pie full of juicy apple. I was instead served a reheated pre packed individual apple pie that was soggy and had about a spoon full of apple. My friend ordered the lemon meringue pie and was also served a soggy reheated pre packed tart. For 9 dollars a serve you would expect something that was at least freshly made, not a reheated Sara Lee pie!!!!!<br/>This made for a disappointing end to an average meal.

Great night out. Had a party for 27 here last night and it was great. Staff were friendly and helpful from booking all the way through. Food was great and everyone got served at the same time, which was great with so many people on a busy night. Was a great night and would come back.

Awful, this place just seems to be stuck in a time warp, I went for lunch and had a meal served quiet promptly but food was awful its a pity because I live close by. It has nothing to bring u there and food is bland and tasteless. Couldn't be bothered to say anymore on that note I don't like it.

First of all, A BIG HIGH FIVE to all you chefs in Vic Park hotel who made this fabulous improvement to the food standards there.<br/><br/>FANTASTIC meal deals, one of the best value-for-money eat outs in Perth every Tuesday nights, for their 1-for-1 deal with a big hearty menu and BIG portions. <br/><br/>Used to be me and wifey's hangout last year (free pool + cheap eats), but the food was getting horrid (either from an understaffed kitchen team or whatever) but we just went last night with other friends for a quick dinner of BBQ pork ribs, fish n chips, rump steak and chicken carbonara. <br/><br/>VERY SURPRISED BY THE SUDDEN IMPROVEMENT. It was actually 100% satisfying.<br/><br/>Fantastic piece of steak, friend liked it "very" well done (hates blood) and so we were expecting a piece of incinerated meat, but boy it came out perfect! It wasn't burnt on the outside at all, and just perfectly PINKY (not grey nor brown nor tough) in the middle with NO traces of blood plus was tender . <br/><br/>BBQ PORK RIBS WERE ON EVERY TABLE OF THE RESTAURANT. Its famous, its a freakin hearty 5 to 6 slabs of ribs + salad + chips and every regular customer orders that. Wow where do i begin. Their awesome smokey bbq sauce (just the right amount not swimming in it nor too dry), and THE TENDER MEAT ACTUALLY. FALLS. OFF. THE. BONE. It used to be really dry and tough but wow its a shocker, I was almost gonna run into the kitchen and give the chefs a hug for my well above standard pork ribs.<br/><br/>Chicken carbonara was REALLY damn tasty though the presentation lacks in comparison to the other dishes we ordered. Love the genorous amount of melted 'stringy' cheese on the pastry as the customer scooped it upwards a good arms length. <br/><br/>I honestly didn't mind the 40 minute wait time to have the meal arrive. If you come just for the unbeatable cheap deals, hearty food and atmosphere, I'm sure you can close an eye to other minor issues :)

Great local pub. Love the Vic Park Hotel, it's my local and has improved over the years both in terms of tap beers and food, as well as renovating their interior. Recommend this place for a casual lunch/dinner serving good pub food, for a couple of drinks after work and for watching sport (as long as your sport is being played in the back of the pub as they don't have the volume on for sport in the front bar). <br/>Go there!

The setting at the Victoria Park Hotel is a nice venue to eat at. We had the Deep Fried Camembert Cheese which was fantastic, The Tasting Plate which had plenty of flavour, The Chicken Wrap which was very fresh tasting. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Very low standard food and service. I have frequented this venue for a drink or two over the years but have never had a good meal and often found the service to be less than welcoming. Vic Park could be better if places like this lifted their game. Ok for a beer but disappointing for anything more.

Thankful vegan. Terrible! My kid's burger was served with rock-hard stale bread. Asked for an ingredient to be taken out of my salad due to an allergy, guess what I find in my first fork of food. There's a lot better places in Vic Parl to spend your money.

GOOD AUSSIE HOTEL. The Blokes Bookclub's September 2012 meeting commenced at the Vic Park Hotel. It is a good Aussie hotel with a bar area that is quite pleasant - unlike some that look like all they want to do is swill it down when you leave! The selection of beers on tap was reasonable too. They actually catered for those who prefer an ale to tasteless lager and even had Kilkenny on tap.<br/><br/>Not a place to get too excited about, but one that you can go to without feeling like you should be wearing a wifebeater and thongs.

Excellent food. Had the deep fried camembert cheese to start then the $10 steak special. Cannot be beaten on value!!!

Look good honest pub food , well priced, steaks are good quality and cooked to order specs. <br/>If you are looking for a belly filler and a few drinks on a Sunday this is a good option !

My partner and I decided to try the Victoria Park Hotel for dinner on a Friday night after reading positive reviews. As this was our first time to ever venture here, we were pleasantly surprised at the decor and atmosphere. We ate in the restaurant part, which is side on to the pub section, with the footy playing on the big screens. For entree, we had the turkish bread with dips - the roast capsicum dip is delicious, as was the dukkah with olive oil/balsamic. For mains, i was tempted by the chicken stuffed with ricotta and spinach with vegetables, and my partner opted for the mixed grill. We were both very happy with our mains and enjoyed the dining experience very much. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. I would recomment the Victoria Park Hotel to those whom enjoy the pub-like atmosphere along with delicious food at affordable prices. Will definitely return :)

Our favourite pub spot. Been here a few times now for dinner or beer or to watch sport on Tv. Friendly staff, and good food. Like to be on the terrace, even if it's on the main street it is quiet and under trees. Two for tuesday is a popular time to go there and enjoy there steak, ribs, fish and chips or kebab. Never been disappointed and lots of beers on tap!

Yummy beef kebabs. We've been here several times for lunch and are always impressed by the friendly and professional service. To be honest we stick with the juicy, tender beef kebabs served on a Greek type salad....because it is always so scrumptious.

Off to a bad start.... Avoid the garlic bread at all costs.<br/>it is rock hard and leaves a nasty after taste.<br/><br/>the mains weren't much better.<br/><br/>i've given it a few cracks and am now confident i'm flogging a dead horse

Xmas Lunch. I recently organized a lunch at the venue for 18 people. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially given that i had only booked for 16 people during their busiest time of the yr. Management bent over backwards to ensure that everyone could be seated.<br/><br/>Our meals were lovely, and came out at the same time, and the atmosphere was low-key, laid-back and unpretentious. I would definitely recommend the establishment to anyone looking for a casual dinner. Thanks!!!

Pub Grub. Went here on Boxing day to relax after a shopping frenzy, not very busy, probably due to the day. But nice ambiance outside on the terrace, good value, good service and the perfect lunch pub grub.

THE VIC. I take my wife and two young kids out for feeds around town quite often and these guys have got it sorted. great food, value,service..nothing else needed!

Victoria Park Hotel Lunch. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch last week at the Vic Park Hotel. We have been there a few times now and I cant say a bad thing about them. The service is outstanding, they doted on us and the food came out quickly. Our meals were very well priced.<br/>My husband and I shared the bruschetta to start with and it was lovely and fresh, it was a great size to share with someone else or have as a main for yourself. <br/>I ordered the rack of lamb which was done beautifully, it was medium which is how I like my lamb, it was served with potatoes and vegies and had the most divine gravy I couldn't stop raving about it. The serving was massive but I still managed to finish it. <br/>My husband had the mixed grill, which consisted of lamb chops, rump steak, cajun chicken, pork chop grilled tomato and an egg (he opted not to have the egg or the cajun chicken) He was extremely happy with his meal and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the steak for a mixed grill. All in all they ticked all the boxes for us in terms of great Pub grub, it is exactly what you are looking for when you feel like a meal at a pub. We will definitely be going back there for lunch again! 10/10

The sweet chilli chicken burger is amazing! Definitely go on 2 for Tuesday, can't beat the value!

Bargain BOGOF Night. Visited on 17/8/10 for BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) night which they have every Tuesday night. There is a shortened menu with about 10 choices. I had the fish and chips which were great - I got 2 big pieces of fish and 1 other small bit. Chips were yum, salad was good. My partner had the beef skewers which were good but is a smaller meal. My mum had the spinach tart which she enjoyed. Everything was decent and you can't complain about the price with half the meals free! Great for a bargain midweek meal.

Good food.. Ate here last Wednesday night - tried a great vegetarian curry and supreme pizza.. not a fan of the pizza sauce, but the vegetarian curry was really really good - nice flavours, filling and hearty with a serve of rice, not salty.<br/><br/>Service is good, fireside is nice in winter.<br/><br/>Nice renovated pub, ignore the sports screens...

The service was great we were greeted with a big smile and taken to our table straight away in the restaurant section of the pub. I didn't pay the menu much attention as I was there for one thing and one thing only...BEEF!
